Letter From Heaven
I’m sending this letter from Heaven, Just to tell you I’m doing alright... I’m so sorry for all the pain you are all feeling, But I really did put up a fight... My God had different intentions, There are things that He wants me to do.... But always know deep down within your hearts, I will always be there with you.... MY family and friends are amazing, I still feel your love here with me.... You really wouldn’t feel sad, If you could see what I can see..
Please look after each other, Have laughs now and then in my name... Always remember I love you God bless till we meet again.
The Family Tree
A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says “Grieve not for me.”
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage.
I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls.
I miss you already, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes we’re together again. NOT ON ORDER OF SERVICE
Sister's Tribute
Janai was the best sister I could ever ask for. Seeing her grow into such a beautiful, loving and caring person is the most amazing thing.
From the moment I saw her she became my best friend, I knew that I would love and protect her forever, and I did until the very end.
Having Janai as my little sister has been a blessing. I enjoyed the 5 years I got to spend with her and I wish I could have many more.
She was such a cheeky little girl and she made me the happiest. She changed everyone’s lives and she will stay with us for eternity.
Rhayanna henRyMother's Tribute
Chekisha MCLean-henRyWhat can I say to my beautiful princess. First of all I want to thank the Lord for letting me be a Mother to you for 5 years. Janai it was such an honour and I am so humbled and proud to be your mother and for you to be my daughter. Janai you were a very unique little angel from your cerebral palsy, to your hearing loss and then come to find out you were the second person in the world known of to have the genetic condition that you had.
You did not let disability get in the way. You did things your own way and your own time. You were very cheeky, loving, funny, memorable. Words can’t express how you were. There will never be another Janai as you are 1 in a million and you will always be remembered.
I miss the way you hug me with just one hand because you could only use one hand, I miss your kisses and the way you would kiss me. I will cherish every moment that we spent together and the things that we did. Thank you for being you and never giving up.
Sleep tight with the angels. It breaks my heart that you are no longer with us, you are our guardian angel so fly high and shine bright like a diamond that you are .we will miss you and we love you Janai. I love you forever and ever your Mum.
A Letter From Heaven
To my dearest family, some things I’d like to say. But first of all to let you all know that I arrived okay. I’m writing this from Heaven where I live with God above. Here there are no tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I’m out of sight. Remember that I am with you ,every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on Earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me and he said “I welcome you, it’s good to have you back again. You were missed while you were gone. As for your dearest family, they’ll be here later on.”
God gave me a list of things that He wished for me to do, and foremost on the list was to watch and care for you. And when you lie in bed at night, the day’s chores put to flight, God and I are closest to you, in the middle of the night.
To My Dearest Family
When you think of my life on Earth and all those loving years,Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry- it does relieve the pain. Remember there would be no flowers Unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned. But if I were to tell you, you wouldn’t understand. But one thing is for certain, though my life on Earth is over, I’m closer to you now than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you, and many hills to climb, but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy, and I’d like it for you too. That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you. If you can help somebody who’s in sorrow and in pain. Then you can say to God at night, “My day was not in vain”
Because of You
wRitten by Chekisha MCLean-henRyBecause of you, you became a baby sister, a joy and everything. You were the world to your big sister.
Because of you, you brought us joy, laughter ,memories that we will always remember.
Because of you, I learnt how to be more patient, understanding and having the knowledge to take each day as it goes, take and cherish every milestone, no matter how big or small it was, as it was a blessing, an achievement.
Because of you, and your beautiful smile, you made everyone feel very special.
Because of you, your smile and expression said everything, even though you didn’t talk.
Because of you, even though you took a few steps, I will treasure each and every step.
Because of you, disability is not a word. It’s the ability to do what you can when you can do it. Because of you, I learnt about your seizures, medication, blood gases what it means and so on.
Because of you, some health professionals said that I should, become a doctor, a nurse. Because of you, your sister wants to become a physiotherapist.
Because of you, our family and friends will make you proud. And you will always be remembered.
Because of you, We all have to and will try.
