Introduction
In the 21st century rising consumerism, greed and negligence has led to environmental changes, the Earth has turned into a hot ball, having unpredictable natural calamities and rising water levels consuming most of the land. Mumbai being a coastal city has to bear the brunt of this climate change which has led to the Arabian sea rising leaving behind an island city with most of its land submerged under the sea. Aer sea level rise of 30mtrs.In theyear 2100CE, theonly three islands remaining of Mumbai are the area around Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Trombay and Panvel. The island of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park becomes the area of intervention. This island has core mountain ranges covered in forest, the Arabian sea around the mainland and dense builtform around the fringes. The natural water bodies Tulsi and Vihar are the primary sources of fresh water reserves which still exist.
