THE TOUGHEST January-June 2017 Graphite on paper 29,7x42 cm

I’ve been drawing since I was 2 years old, but I’ve never had a moment to fully express this ability that the Lord has given me. That’s why, back in december 2016, I decided to challenge myself and to finish my five years of high school with the full gas, knowing that 2017 would have been the busiest and the toughest year for me. Have you ever wondered how can the life of a tree be tough? Trees are able to live up to hundreds of years, and even thousands, by resisting any climate change. Who knows how many difficulties the tree next to your house has been through? But still, it always shows its beauty. Started in January and finished in June, the whole drawing process took me a total of 90 hours. I’ve been through a lot during the past years, especially this first half of 2017. The process was tough, in school, in ministry, in family, in personal life. But I know, and you know, that there’s a purpose why God has put you in these hard situations. He doesn’t put you on a situation to make you feel in distress, He wants you to know that whatever the circumstances may be, you can make it. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9). We don’t have to face trials alone, God is whatching out for us, He is with us! Surely our future will be tougher, but if we have started with Hope, and now we’re walking with Trust, the race will be Victorious!
