“If you can’t afford something don’t get something that is half Price but that you don’t really like. Don’t do that.” Vivienne Westwood
The world has got a new medium of communication; a photograph. This magazine will take you through everything that is so close to my heart. It will give a sense of fun and enjoyment. The color is just maybe an ‘Indian’ thing, but we rightly love color which is completely reflected in here. The issue has a bit of London, Paris and India. London and Paris have been my dream destinations ever since I remember and of course India is where I come from, taking me back to my roots. I have worked my best to bring to you an essence of every city with features on each. More than words I have photographs doing the talking. With the summer already here I have picked out some of my favorite picks this season and put them together for you. Happy reading.

PASSION FOR FASHION
Jade Marie Marchant on Fashion and why she loves being a little crazy as she calls it
Graduate Fashion Week gave me the chance to meet Jade Marie Marchant, a student from Colchester School of Art and Design. Having studied Styling for 4 years she says she loves playing with designs. Her collection was called ‘Sugar Romance’ which had mid length skirts digitally printed. The collection was inspired by Mexican festivals and rightly had a lot of color and symmetry in the digital prints.” These skirts are also inspired by the inner beauty of a woman” said Jade. When asked about what she liked the most about fashion she said, “Fashion perks you up and makes you feel good at any time, it is basically a mood changer. When someone passes by and says that I look crazy I feel like I have my own style.” She said “Fashion brings out the inner child in me and makes me feel awesome.”
JADE MARIE MARCHANT “The Graduate Fashion week is one of the best opportunities that I have come across and is a great platform for me to meet new people and give some advice to young students. The best feeling is when eminent people from the industry come up and appreciate the work that I have done” says Jade, who is very grateful to her college for giving her such a chance. Jade has graduated in styling and has been working at the same time with Marks & Spencer as a stylist. She dreams of taking her brand, which is also named ‘Sugar Romance’ to great heights and wishes to be a part of all the big commercial departmental stores in London. She aims on having her clothes featured in music videos and on celebrities eventually. “The only thing that has kept me going is the passion and love I have for what I do” she concludes.

The North Pole is a quiet club situated in the lanes of Greenwich which has a nice open area which serves shisha in the day and turns into a superb night dance floor. One place suggested by us.
ENTERTAINMENT
Plastic People is a small club in Hoxton, just a small door as an entrance, you might miss the place while walking down the street. Small but an extremely fun place. Small tip is that if you get there before 10pm you may get to enter without paying a cover charge.
Feeling Vintage BEYOND RETRO Vast warehouse near Brick Lane packed with vintage clothing and accessories. American vintage clothing outlets don’t get much bigger or better than this. Having bagged a huge, distinctive yellow warehouse in London’s uber trendy Brick Lane district, the owners have filled it to the brim with thousands of hand-picked examples of unique, retro garments and accessories. With hundreds of new items being added to the in-store collection each day, rummaging through the rails is always a pleasure – if a tad exhausting. Jeans and jackets are matched up with old school trainers, 50s sweatshirts, flight bags and some fab 50s ball gowns, which - because these guys are not paying extortionate wads of cash towards a central London rent – are all pretty reasonably priced. If you’re there on a Saturday afternoon at about 3pm, keep your ears as well as your purse open – live, local bands often perform to surprised shoppers.
ONE OF A KIND For A-list guests there's a secret room which holds their more exclusive pieces; ask owner Jeff Ihenacho sweetly and he'll give you a sneak peak inside (by appointment only). Photographs of celebrity clients hang in the busy shop giving the small space the kind of street cred that money can't buy. Tom Ford, Jean Paul Gaultier, Stella McCartney and Karl Lagerfeld are not just labels stocked here, all have visited the store for inspiration
. Far from second best hand-medowns, all clothes are kept in pristine condition (no mouldy old shabby chic here) and show no signs of their advancing years. Accordingly, they are sold at high end designer label prices. Jeff tirelessly scours auctions, markets and jumble sales (and eBay, no doubt), but only the most fashionable clothes make it to the tightly packed rails.
ABSOLUTE VINTAGE A whole array of vintage handbags, dresses and belts are on offer at this specialist shop including more than a thousand pairs of shoes and boots. With clothing for men and women dating from the 1930's to 1980's you can browse through rails of gear that varies in condition from 'As New' - goods which were never sold to a customer and therefore were never used, some of which may have the original labels/price tags still attached to 'Good Condition' (items which have been used and may have signs of wear such as scuffed heels). It's all reasonably priced with plenty of bargains to be had. A great place to pick up a pair of gold dancing shoes. You should go here just to have a view if not buy. The stuff you will find here are beyond imaginations. Once In a while we hear a story of someone or the other getting lucky and getting some very valuable pieces for really cheap prices. If you want to be one of those we would surely say you should have one go.
APPLEBY Supercool and rather expensive vintage clothing shop in the trendiest corner of West London. They carry a small but beautiful selection of handpicked vintage clothing, for girls only. It's the kind of beautiful emporium that will bring most boyfriends out in a cold sweat - and with good reason. There really is some lovely stuff to be had in here. Expect to part with lighter pockets.
VINTAGE MODES This delightful step-back-intime shop specialise in vintage fashions and resident experts David Wightman and June Victor can spot a genuine 1950's scalloped edged, taffeta ballet length designer evening dress at a hundred paces. Over 100 years of vintage fashion are lined up at this velvet-lined boudoir in Mayfair making it a first port of call for all vintage lovers and for those making period dramas; 'Mrs Henderson Presents', 'Memoirs of Geisha' and 'Ladies in Lavender' have borrowed from these wardrobes. The expert advice is to look out for interesting styles and cuts and remember sizes are often inaccurate so it's best to try them on. It takes longer, but it's all part of the fun.
We would say even if its expensive one should go. Why not? You never know when you might get a style steal and also get the highest brands at a rack that just says five pounds. These are all happened things. Appleby is a very chic and classy vintage store that holds some of the best vintage stuff in town. When you need a classy number for one of those classy parties, you will definitely get one here.
THE GIRL CANT HELP IT This is a veritable treasure trove of sumptuous, genuine, vintage clothing put together by Sparkle Moore and Cad van Swankster and housed on the ground floor of Alfie's Antique Market, a hotbed of yesteryear goods. There are no shabby, secondhand hand-me-downs here, just exceptional and top quality pieces from the 30s, 40s and 50s in the best possible condition. Everything is carefully hand-selected and many items still have their original tags attached. Catering for men, women and the home, a host of accessories and collectibles keep the clothing company. Well worth a visit

Chanel flagship store is located in Paris. This is for all the brand conscious people out there, brands that originate out of Europe are usually the least expensive in the home country. One of the biggest stores holding almost every Chanel product and lots of limited edition products.
Rue Saint Honore, one street where you can get to shop from the biggest brands in the world. All the brands have stores down this street and some of them flagship stores like the Chanel store above mentioned. One can spend hours here and still not be done completely.
The magnificently restored interior is all high ceilings, Belle Epoque murals, mirrors and vintage light fittings, the typical regular is more of a Joey Ramone character, even more so by night, when the bar acts as warm-up zone for the sister club and music venue Nouveau Casino. During the day, you could bring your parents - it's not intimidatingly trendy, and the sense of history gives it across-the-board appeal.
A simple, squareish room plus a little courtyard at the rear, Andy Wahloo - it sounds like 'I have nothing' in Arabic - is relaxed, hip and easy to love. The look is colourful and (very) cheerful, with street signs and cooking-oil barrels recycled as tables and stools, and bright packaging displayed as kitsch art, next to film posters and tourism ads. Imagine an African street market serving ace mojitos and playing Curtis Mayfield, and you're there. It's still buzzing, eight years after opening; you'll be lucky to find a place on the cushion-strewn Moroccan bench seating after 9pm.
ENTERTAINMENT
Djoon Club is a nice bar with superb music. Suggested to all those who love some dancing. The river seine is close by and the street has quite a few cute bars and cafes. They serve food and drinks and few of the dishes are very delicious.
