KATHMANDU FLAGSHIP STORE Year : 2014 Type : Flagship Store Area : 1,500 sq.m. Site : 1,600 sq.m. Location : Soi Charoen Suk (Thonglhor 10), Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok, 10110, Thailand

Three-dimensional designs have increasingly become a crucial part of my design. It is similar to drawing a picture on a piece of paper, but it has a stronger impact than my two-dimensional artworks as the “three dimensions composing” gives the impression that the artwork itself is floating in the air. It is, therefore, very realistic. The program of this project is a flagship store of e brand named “Kathmandu”. The design must correspond to the brand image and insists on its identity. The distinctive characteristic of the brand, Kathmandu, is the adventurous spirit as the brand sells outdoor clothing, camping and travel gears. Therefore, I decided to create a space which inspires clients to step outside and explore the world.

An oblique shape building that face to the street calls people around. An unusual building shape that stand out to the neighbor making them self as a landmark of the district. Huge angle concrete seem to falling apart reminded adventurous emotion, reflects the brand "Kathmandu". The stand out building is located in the most crowded, fashionable, competitive area where everyone spends a lot of time with, Thonglhor.

The area where almost every brand new building is build, it comes up with stunning building. About our project, a program is a 700 sqm flagship store where the Kathmandu brand will be allocated them self in Thailand. Kathmandu is the adventure clothing brand. They sell clothing, hiking equipment, out door equipment, etc. That brand is a truly inspiration for adventure people, not only inspire but also give a high quality equipment for an adventure.

customers, inspiring customers to follow the brand, enhancing the brand that relative to the space. As the condition, the building needs to look sharp and catch the eye. The front facade looks like the huge cliff that rise up from the ground create a stunning effect for attract attention. The form that interlocking each other in a complex way aim to create an atmosphere that look mystery, challenge and attraction. Going through the narrow entrance which is imitated from cave lead customers through retail area where all the stuff is located in specific ways. An oblique shelf interior enhancing a mountainousness atmosphere, even the fitting area is created a corner shape. In the opening court which lead customer to second floor, there is an entrance to restaurant that connect to the road through huge curtain wall. The double space where stair case is located in the middle of the restaurant let customer on the second floor can glance down. Back to the opening court where an overhead bridge connect between 2 areas, seem like the bridge hold the ground together. The light directly hit the ground in the narrow place feels like we stand in the cliff of the mountain. An oblique stair which lead to second floor is designed to be like organic form. On the second floor, the floor level is not the same making space more dynamic. An open well where customers can look down to lower store connecting with light and sound. Going down step to cashier area where the space connected with restaurant in order to attract customer to lower floor. Most of the wall in this building are oblique in order to create a stunning space, inspire customers to have an adventure experience. The program required a selling area which can inspire people in the same time, office area where staff works in, a restaurant which is welcome all the customer including kitchen and staff lounge. In the most active district, the only one condition which affect the design the most is "how to create a stunning look for the brand". According to the condition a design need to focus on several things which are creating stunning form, atmosphere, sense of space to

SIAM CEMENT TRAINING CENTER Year : 2015 Type : Training Center Area : 10,000 sq.m. Site : 200,000 sq.m. Location : Ming monkon Park, Mittraphap Rd., Thap kwang, kaeng Khoi, Saraburi, 18260, Thailand

Siam City Cement Cooperation (SCCC) Training Center held a competition for their new training center. The site location is at K haoYai. KhaoYai is the large forest area of Thailand. Because of its geographical location, the design needs to correspond as much as possible with its natural and beautiful landscape. Therefore, the iconic design is used. The icon itself can call attention and make visitors remember the company easier even having just a quick look at the training center. The curvature is used in this case. In terms of the structure, the structure was generated by Grasshopper 3D program. Siam City Cement Cooperation (SCCC) Training Center held a competition for their new training center. An stunning form of a building which stand privately in the wood is a massive new training center for SCCC (Siam City Cement Cooperation) staffs. Destined to become the flagship and center of reference for SCCC archive system, its mission is to receive, keep and render available to staff , outsider and customer in any type of format. The new training center will allocated in Saraburi's suburb. the Site of this project is totally jungle, not a good looking and well care area. SCCC is the outstanding brand which have supported Thailand's development for more than 45 years. They are the second-largest cement producer in Thailand which mean they produce an innovative supplier of cement products and solutions. The brand is totally outstanding which means this could be conditions for a design. The site where are totally jungle need to respond to the high profile company. A potential of the site is the area which is a vast area subtract with Ming Mongkon Park seem like a L shape. A design could put in anywhere on the site which does not effect much,

And because of the size, the design should be carefully considered the location. An only one access is located next to the "Ming Mongkon Park" which can do something relate to our project. The training center is a complex building consist of a convention hall, a restaurant, accommodation and recreation center. In this condition a design is needed to organize carefully in order to separate function into grouping zone. Firstly, an welcoming area where a lounge, reception and office located need to be allocated at the front which is the most attractive and welcome area. For the convention zone comprise of 4 convention rooms for 30 people, A exhibition hall for exhibiting an information, archive even innovative supplies for instance, one banquet hall which support 300 people. Back to the welcoming zone which connects with a restaurant on lower floor. The restaurant can support more than 200 seats which customers not only come from convention zone but also recreation and accommodation zone. From the restaurant, the space is connected to a accommodation where recreation customers, newcomers and SCCC staffs stay. The accommodation has totally 100 rooms including recreation customers, newcomers and SCCC staff. In the middle of the project, There is a huge garden which be a green space for everyone. the garden act like a public space in the project that hold the accommodation, recreation and restaurant into one. A recreation zone

consist of fitness center, library, pool, locker and tennis court. An idea that hold everything together is to be a center and archive of SCCC. As a condition that the brand is a leader in Thailand's development, the new building need to express "how such a innovative brand like SCCC lead Thailand's development. In this idea, the project come up with high technological structure in order to presents public. A structure which is three-dimensions curvature space frame that cover all the building shows an advanced technology and innovation of construction by using computing generated the structure. A huge curvature space that covers everything below creates continuous space which flow and connect each space. The new SCCC training center will enable the staff and customer to enjoy and relax every moment, And also create more trustfulness for the public ,which will lead to the number one Thailand's development company. • Above, shows a plan which can see all the three zones. • On the top left, a diagram that explain how the project is land to the side which is related to “Ming Mongkon Park” •On the bottom left, a

UNTITLED INSTALLATION Year : 2015 Type : Installation Art Area : Site : 200 sq.m. Location : 254 Phayathai Rd, Wang Mai, Khet Pathum Wan, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon,Bangkok 10330, Thailand

I began my untitled installation artwork project when I was studying contemporary art in Chulalongkorn University. I had an idea concerning Thai Modern and Thai Contemporary. I began to question about what Modern notion in Chulalongkorn University is and what defines the beauty of this particular notion. My purpose is to make people question about Modern spirit which focuses on rationality that even a lump of soil needs in be in order whereas Post Modern concept rejects all of the order previously established by Modern concept. So, my conclusion about Modern notion in Chulalongkorn University is found in the form of systematic grid, therefore, I eliminated the entire grid to demonstrate that we no longer need to follow the system. There is no necessity to follow the systematic thought which we were taught since we were children. In terms of architectural design, we recognized a space which is designed by systematic grid. So, I destroyed all previous space into fragments and created a new space that is defined by line up on the head or on the ground

The location of the project is located in a court between Sala Phra Kiew and canteen where the most traditional building is located. The court is totally untouched and abandoned to no one. Therefore, a problem with this court is no one want to use and the court is not welcome anyone caused by an entrance was small and hard to catch. As it mentioned previously, The project began when I was studying Contemporary art movement in Thailand. It took me to question a Modern movement in Chulanlongkorn University where I am studying, “What is Modern movement In Chulalongkorn university and how does it mean?”. Firstly, it began with a question “What is Modern movement in Chulalongkorn university?” which took me look at all traditional building in Chulalongkorn university. I assumed that all the

buildings were built with rational grid which related somehow to an intention of Chulalongkorn university that has to lead Thailand’s society. Their responsibility is to lead out society by directing people to respect and obey the rule which make our society better. But one thing that they forgot to influence society is question. They did not direct any people to question in anything which is their’s responsibility. Firstly, before we direct a huge society, we have to start with a small one, Chulalongkorn university must be the first choice. A outcome is calling people to question a works. It does not only direct people to question, but also seek for attention. A red ribbon was arranged into unsystematic way in order to provoke sense of thought. Creating a space from untouched place became attention seeker.

The project is arranged by using red ribbons which move from one place to another place in unexpected way in order to juxtapose a visual element’s building. The juxtaposition between systematic grid of the building and unsystematic ribbon that moving through systematic space is the key which impact to people in order to provoke questioning. • Above, it shows a space which is cut into piece.

HUAI NAM KEUN SCHOOL Year : 2016 Type : Border Patrol School Area : 3,000 sq.m. Site : 2,695,200 sq.m. Location : 19 Baan Huai nam Keun, Wawi, Mae Suai District, Chiangrai, 57340, Thailand

Due to location, a new school come up for improve an education in the rural area. The main purpose that why they want to make a better place is to improve a Thai-Burma border area. The area where a bunch of drug dealer, Black weapon market even terrorists often occur need to be watched. Eventually, the problem was solved by create a community where people can meet, chat and watch any unusual things. Instead of create only meeting place, why do not we make something can do more, a school. To design the school with a conditions that was mentioned, the school need to be considered that not only school but community space. a three storey school consist of classroom, canteen which can transform to community space, chicken farm, dormitory and vegetable garden.

As its mentioned previously, the school becomes heart of the area where children can learn. Not only a school but also a community. Therefore, the main idea comes up with central space which can change functions flexibly. But the design need to be considered about "site" as well, we cannot ignore. As well as a concept idea that should be thought about it. The site is located on the hill in a rural area, 34 kilometres aways from Chiang Rai City, the northernmost province of the Thailand which is Thai-Burma boarder and also Thai-Lao's border. The site has bunch of strong point such as a fascinating view, a vast green area and river on the lower of the site. To blend the beauty of nature and a design by using a slope, the school is designed to be seen as it cantilevers from the hill, creating a unique courtyard where children play in a special way. But not only one building cantilevers from the hill but all of them, to using flat slab roof be a vegetable garden and relaxing space for people and children.

According to "The Importance of Outdoor Play and Its Impact on Brain Development In Children" research, Outdoor play is very important to brain development. To achieve an objective that give a different outdoor space for playing, the school is divided outdoor space to 5 parts which are opened outdoor space, semi enclosed outdoor space, low slope courtyard, narrow garden and high slope. Each of them has a unique space and different playing type for children. The school program required 6 elementary classrooms, 3 pres-elementary classrooms, 1 canteen which can transform to community space, kitchen and storage, 2 dormitories for children, 1 dormitory for teacher, vegetable garden and chicken farm. In the first building consist of 6 classrooms, 200 students, which are allocated at the left wing of the building, create a front enclosure space for playing and assembling in the morning. Each of them connect to main "U" shape corridor. On the back of this wing there is a low slope courtyard where children can play with. As its mentioned early, the building is combine to the nature

acts like a rock that rise above the ground. Therefore, the space is a unique one related to the site. Next to classrooms which connect with second building where canteen is located. The canteen, as its mentioned, has to adapt to community space in case of village meeting, announcing , etc. The space need to be wide span in order to transform. A kitchen is set next to a canteen including storage, service, machine room and chicken farm. A narrow garden which is next to the canteen creates a privacy to a dormitory behind. 3 preselementary classrooms at the third building corner is next to canteen where kids are put in the most privacy zone in order to reduce risky that kids will do anything danger. The third building has split into 2 wings where pres-elementary is on the left and dormitory on the right. A high slope courtyard is connected to the pres-elementary zone. A reason why the high slope courtyard is located is to protect children run away to the wood where children can be harm. Therefore, the high slope courtyard is place by using same slope site instead of creating fence. Lastly, Huai Nam Keun school has to be community space not only education space, in order to be an eye of the country, an eye of the province, and of course an educator for children. • Above, rooftop plan which show all three building consist of elementary classroom on the bottom left, canteen on the bottom right including kitchen and service room, pres-elementary classrooms and dormitories on the top. As you can see all 5 outdoor space which located between building including in front of canteen and U shape in front of elementary class.

• On the top left, shows how building's level is different. • On the bottom left, show a canteen's space which flow smoothly to pres-elementary zone and elementary zone. Also the "U" shape courtyard in front of elementary zone. A vegetable garden which is located on the top of a canteen is connect to ground level.

AIR WEAVING HOUSE Year : 2016 Type : Temporary Pavilion Area : 50 sq.m. Site : Location : 158 Memu, Taiki-chō, Hiroo-gun, Hokkaidō, 089-2113, Japan

Lightness in architecture always draws a discussion, since architecture aims for firmness, as Vitruvius suggests . The alluring aspect of lightness is that it allows mobility, reduces environmental load, and gives an impression of freedom. To achieve the ultimate lightness in our project, air - weightless, is obtained as the main structure

that raises up the shelter, creating a sanctuary space inside. Such pneumatic structures answers the condition of fast assembly and dismantling precisely, as they are entirely transformable by simply inflating or deflating. A small fabric tube which is easy to handle than a big sheet is our starting point. But a simple stand-alone air tube would be unstable, therefore,

weaving is applied to strengthen up the whole plane consisted of light-weighted small linear members. The trihexagonal pattern of the weaving creates a strongbut-flexible bond. The light carbon fibre sticks work as a form giver to the whippy weaving plane. These air structures are inflatable polyamide film tubes ending with aluminium caps. The caps are attachable to specific positions on the base elements with ball-socket joints - allowing them to adopt any happen angle. With the strength of weaving, the ends of some tubes are able to overhang independently and sealed by airtight clamps.

• Above, a layout points a location where air weaving house is located. •On the middle right, a material diagram shows what type of material was used in the project

• On the bottem left, drawings describe a air beam structure that it could carry a ton of a truck and could be deflated to a small piece.

A challenging point of architectures mobility is that it contradicts the core idea of architecture, the stability of foundation. Generally, a building would need a certain kind of structure that hoalds it onto the ground to attain stability, both in the literal and psychological sense. In our project, with a little help from nature, water is thought to become the shelter’s portable foundation by easily filling it in when assembling and pouring it out when dismantling. The idea therefore leads to the base design, composing a series of hexagonaltank units that perceive the shelter’s load. The negative trigonal spacings formed between are where the structure above meets the base and is that what holds the tanks together. The bases organi zation likewise complements the weaving pattern of the pneumatic structure. Usage of nature elements, in this case, does not only complete the architecture in the structural aspects, but also promotes comfort and allow the residents to enjoy a primitive upon different seasons. Apart from being used as the main structure, air is also filled into the weaving

inflatable skin to act as heat insulation for the shelter during the harsh winter of Taiki-cho. The flexibility of the base structure allows planting possible during warmer seasons, creating greenery and lively atmospheres. Water-filled tanks can also be opened for foot bathing with the temperature responding to different seasons - cool water for summer then warm water for

winter. In the center of the base, a large tank unit is placed to host a fireplace to be the central heat generator in winter - defining a cosy area where everyone gathers around altogether. With our proposal, architecture and a given surrounding nature shall complement one another to best draw out the richness of the place.

PINK PARK VILLAGE Year : 2016 Type : Breast Caner Foundation Area : 10,000 sq.m. Site : 3,00,000sq.m. Location : 25, Khwaeng Khu Fang Nuea, Khet Nong Chok, Bangkok, 10330 Thailand

Sansiri (One of the largest real estate developers in Thailand) vision is to build Thailand’s first and only non-profit holistic care centre for breast cancer patients called “Pink Park Village” where there will be hospice and convalescence home for the most underprivileged, day care & activity centre for breast cancer patients and learning & training centre for all. The program is to design a healthcare unit, learning centre and hospice. To find an idea for helping breast cancer patients, looking for a research must be a way. Suddenly, Healing garden came up. The garden which heals patients by using nature is a choice. To combine an idea with a design, we designed the garden interpenetrates to the building in many way in order to reach high result. There are criteria that has to be consider carefully which accord to researches.

A huge indoor garden where there are bunch of plants is a new cancer institute in the northern of Bangkok, Thailand. A project is hold by Sansiri, A real estate developers in Thailand, in order to build Thailand's first and only non-profit holistic care centre for breast cancer patients. The new building will be located in Minburi which is residential area. According to the site, it is a suburb where a surrounding is totally flat. Especially, around the site is totally undeveloped district. In order to design a place for breast cancer patients, the most crucial things we need to know is "how can we heal a patient?". A result comes up with the idea of healing garden that researches can be found simply. With an idea of healing and site conditions, the outcome is spectacular space which is called "space within space". As its mentioned previously, the remarkable place, which is surrounded by beautiful nature, has to combine with 10,000 sq.m program and a healing garden idea. The program consists of clinical area, conference area, learning area and hospice. The building is separated into 2 area, the public area and private area which is hospice. A main building's first priority is healing garden which be used in the way that all the functions have to touch a ground lightly in order to leave ground space for plant. A huge function box is touched ground lightly by very thin columns. A

space beneath the box is used for addition function such as service, toilet, conference room , etc. The remaining space is considered to be garden which is healing garden. This solution give a huge effect relate to the site by lets the nature enter building. Due to plants which are planted inside, it needs light to grow themselves. The perforated sheets that filter a light that come through its, create an indirect light hit the plants gently. Also the hospice area which uses same technique in order to let plants growing. In the main building, a huge triangle roof covered three functions boxes consist of clinic, register and operation, and service. A clinical function is split into 2 group, register and operation. A register box, which is located on the top of the plan, connects to the operation box by mezzanine. A service box, which contains laboratory, CSSD even mechanic room, is located on the left of the plan. The service box is covered by using vertical garden in order to hide the box. From the main building to the hospice, huge circular garden is allocated in the between in order to be a buffer zone which gives the most patient's privacy. The ceiling, which lets the light pass through perforated sheet and shimmers on the ground, is hanged on the space frame structure with transparent roof on top.

Due to the very high structure, the building has an effective ventilation. Not only using light for grow plants, but also create an atmosphere at the same time. A main things that is needed to considered is plants. The question is "what type of plants can we use?". In fact, there are conditions which were showed in a research such as "Use plants that have some medicinal value. For an example of a garden design using medicinal plants" or "Avoid thorny or toxic plants, especially in gardens used by children or people with certain psychological disorders. For more information on poisonous plants, see the Cornell University Poisonous Plants Informational Database" , etc. The structure is separated individually in order to create a huge structure cover the box functions. In case of separated structure, It creates stunning space which is called "Space with in space". The space is created to make patients feel a real nature not just seeing or imaging. In order to create a huge covered space friendly, A main structure has to be as thin as possible. Finally, Pink Park Village will help patients to using their last moment of their life with happiness. Not only treatment, but give a hope. • Above, main building's interior perspective, which shows three function boxes were put underneath the roof. The ceiling, that filters light covers all the building, give a special outdoor space where patients or staff can enjoy an indoor garden. • Below, hospice's interior perspective. Show that the plants are put in the specific place in order to give patients happiness.

INTARA HOTEL Year : 2016 Type : High-rise Hotel Area : 30,000 sq.m. Site : 16,592 sq.m. Location : 930-932 Srinagarindra Rd, Suan Laung, Suan Laung District, Bangkok, 10250, Thailand

The 26-storey 4 stars hotel is located on Srinagarindra Road, a wide avenue that runs through the city’s urban core. The skyscraper is sit between 2 skyscrapers which are 20-storey building and 40-storey building. Encompassing 30,000 square metres of floor area, the building contains hotel and retail space. It is organised into 2 separate zone, which are ground zone and high zone. Its space was derived from various factors, such as environmental concerns, ideas, etc. The tower is composed of modular windows and columns. The upper zone’s green space where presidential suite is located is merged into one, which means a green space is double height. The space acts like public area where people can meet. A ground zone contains hall, restaurants, banquets, conference room and recreation. The ground zone’s idea came up from the idea of flow space. The flow space which gives a huge advantage differs from the other hotel is a large public space. Although the hotel is not the highest skyscraper on Srinakarin road, the Intara hotel has public space larger than any building.

On 699 Srinagarindra road, the main high way that runs from Ladprao Road at Bang Kapi District, Bangkok to Sukhumvit Road at Muang District, Samutprakarn, Intara hotel is located. The 4 stars hotel, 26-storey building, consists of hotel and retail space. 30,000 square metres is designed to be a new city hotel which needs to support an increasing tourist numbers. Not only tourists, but also businessmen who plan to work or do a conference. An idea came up with a flow space, a space where space welcomes any guest. A result is to build an continuous space which guests will able to walk from ground to any floor. As its mentioned previously, A location is extremely convenient for working and conferring. Because of a well transportation which runs through the city Urban’s core easily. An advantage that could bring a lot of customer come to this hotel gives us an opportunity to build something interesting.

Because of the convenient area, guests who come to the hotel should relax themselves. In order to achieve the idea, a space has to feel comfortable by welcoming space. The welcoming space, as its mentioned, has to be friendly to walk, not in a separated way. To achieve that all the public functions, which comprises of reception, retails, restaurants, etc, have merge into one which mean all the functions can walk to each other easily. But there are some function that cannot be used by guests, a recreation and banquet. Those functions kind of private functions, a recreation has to be used by only guests and a banquet hall has to be used by only reserves. The result reveals the space where 3 public function are merged into one space. Hotel rooms is located on the high zone where started from 6th floor to 26th floor. There are three types consist of standard type, suite type and presidential type. Each type has different

area, view and open space. For instance, a 36 square metres standard type has no open space, there are allocated to 10 rooms each floor which means there are no open space at all, a 72 square metres suite type has one huge open space which is allocated each 2 floors, a 150 square metres presidential type has one huge open same as suite type, but there are only 2 rooms for each floor. In the end, the hotel is designed to be a friendly hotel which welcomes any guest. Therefor, Intara hotel will be the first high end hotel in the area and the first choice for any customer. • Above, shows a front view of the hotel where the flow space is showed clearly. • On the top left, all the public plan show how public functions connect to each other by using a

huge terrace. •On the bottom left, a section shows a space, as its mentioned early, that flows from one function to another function.
