Charmein has been with the Racing Post since May 2022. Initially heading up ANZ Bloodstock News commercially, she was appointed the Racing Post Director role in July 2023.

Prior to this, Charmein was the Executive Officer for Thoroughbred Breeders Victoria. She is a skilled executive and administrator with a diverse and varied CV encompassing every aspect of the industry. She has worked on multi-million dollar projects for the industry, such as the introduction of $7.5 million in additional breeding and racing incentives, government relations and lobbying and legislation reviews for the Victorian breeding industry. Charmein complements her administration and executive skills with strong business acumen and balances her resume with the execution of global marketing campaigns, including brand campaigns, TVCs and advertising plans for every size of business.

Her love is the bloodstock industry and she is an extremely passionate breeder and owner. Charmein holds an MBA and is a GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Charlie is the bloodstock commercial manager and has been working as part of the Racing Post’s commercial team for over ten years.

Following the careers of Cheltenham Festival winner Dato Star and star hurdler Hoh Invader, both of whom were bred by his grandparents developed his early interest in racing. After finishing University in Galway and while working at Bank of Ireland he set up various horse racing syndicates and enjoys sharing the experience of racehorse ownership with others. The draw of working full time within the industry led to him moving to London to join the Racing Post in 2012.

Miriam has been at the Racing Post for 11 years, joining the Bloodstock team in 2020.

Involved in horses since an early age, Miriam started working in racing at the age of 14 whilst still at school. While studying Business and Thoroughbred Management in the UK she worked for a number of trainers and sales consignors, followed by moving to the USA were she worked in a pre-training yard, breaking horses for Claiborne Farm and Pin Oak Stud. After four years in the USA Miriam travelled to Australia where she spent a year working in racing and travelling. On her return to Ireland Miriam took up the position of Travelling Head Person for Frances Crowley and laterly Tom Taffe before going back to study Business Management.

A trainer’s daughter, thoroughbreds have been a life-long passion for Rosie, who holds an amateur licence and rides whenever the opportunity arises, a win at Ascot on King George day being the pinnacle of her career thus far ! Rosie brings with her a wealth of experience from across the racing industry, from running for Tattersalls, Racing TV and working for the Injured Jockeys Fund.

Mary joined the team at the Racing Post Bloodstock in March 2022.

Having grown up in rural Shropshire, Mary has been involved in horses as long as she can remember, catching the racing bug in her teens. Whilst studying Real Estate at the Royal Agricultural University and subsequently, Mary rode out for various yards in the UK, USA and Australia, alongside bid spotting, cards and running at the Sales. Most recently Mary did a stint in residential property sales in the Cotswolds before finding the pull back to the racing industry too strong to resist !
