What is your biggest pet peeve in the industry? The negative light on the industry as a whole from those outside of it. What spirit of drink would you like to see make a comeback? Brandies, Bas Armagnacs and EDVs. How many shifts do you think you’ve called in sick or missed because you were hungover? Never called in sick BUT I have been sent home on a few occasions, once almost throwing up on our floor host working in a dispense bar after a few too many the night before. Hangover remedy? Bakers Delight Cheesymite Scroll and Boost Mango Magic Smoothie.

What puts a smile on your face when you’re behind the bar? When a drunk guy who we cut off is shut down by his mate for being a dick. Biggest fail when bartending? Trying to impress a girl that was sitting at the bar with some flair… lost control of the tin, hit her in the face, then knocked her drink on her friend as I tried to mend my silly decision… it was a really bad night.
