CONSTRUCTION NEWS SPECIALISTS AWARDS
With two nominations shortlisted in the Envelope Specialist of the Year category, members of the EOS team headed to London in July to present to the awards judging panel. Under the banner of ‘Taking a Safety-First Systems Approach to Building Envelopes’ – our collective entry for our Thrubuild®, Thruwall® and Pre-Assembled Frames (PAF) join three other high-profile finalists. Our second submission to reach the finals – ‘Pre-Assembled Frames Eliminating Risk in External Envelopes’ – focuses on our latest ground-breaking non-loadbearing infill solution. The awards will be announced on 22 September at The Brewery, London.
BRITISH CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY AWARDS
It is a total privilege to be nominated for the Industry Innovation Champion for our commitment to technical excellence and the approach we have taken to building safety and performance.
Regulations typically deal with individual products and how they perform in tests - we believe material providers should have full-scale testing regimes. Through detailed testing of the entire system, we can accurately achieve precise performance delivering improvements in long-term safety, quality and in-use operation. We will be off to London again in September to present to the judging panel and the awards will take place at the Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane on 12 October.
OFFSITE CONSTRUCTION AWARDS
And finally, we have received an unprecedented seven nominations reaching the finals of the Offsite Awards. We are extremely proud to report that three of the ten finalists in the Best Use of Steel category are EOS projects. The Offsite Awards will be returning to Coventry Building Society Arena once again on 20 September 2022, following Offsite Expo where EOS will have a major presence. The awards received over 200 entries from companies who are at the forefront of the industry in terms of innovation and expertise, so reaching the finals is a major achievement with such fierce competition.
