Solidarity with the Sindicato Mexictricistas -SME Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the General Council of PEO and the working people of Cyprus, we express our solidarity and support to the Mexican Electricians Trade Union-SME. In the world today, the conditions have been worsened to such an extent that they have made contemporary times especially difficult and harsh for the working people, but also for humanity as a whole. The imposition of the so-called New World Order and the implementation of the capitalist neo-liberal globalisation of the economy have resulted in the gap between the rich and poor countries, exploitation, poverty and destitution growing. Contemporary conditions render the rallying, joint action and solidarity between working people as extremely crucial for the protection of the rights of working people. Dear Comrades. We express our class-oriented solidarity to the Mexican working class and we demand for an immediate solution for the benefit of workers and the respect of the validity of the union institution SME.

Solidaridad con el Sindicato Mexicano de Electricistas-SME Estimados colegas,
En nombre del Consejo General de la PEO y los trabajadores de Chipre, expresamos nuestra solidaridad y apoyo al Sindicato Mexicano de Electricistas-SME. En el mundo actual contemporáneo, las condiciones han empeorado hasta tal punto que se han hecho especialmente difíciles y duras para el pueblo trabajador, y también para la humanidad en su conjunto. La imposición de la llamada Nueva Orden Mundial y la aplicación de la globalización neo-liberal capitalista de la economía han dado lugar a la brecha entre los países ricos y pobres, la explotación, la pobreza y la miseria cada vez mayor. Las condiciones actuales hacen que la unión, la acción conjunta y la solidaridad entre las personas que trabajan sea crucial para la protección de los derechos de los trabajadores. Compañeras y compañeros. Expresamos nuestra solidaridad de clase con los trabajadores mexicanos y exigimos una solución inmediata en beneficio de los trabajadores y el respeto de la autonomía del Sindicato Mexicano de Electricistas SME.
