y name is Kitsana but for everyone in Yum I’m the
I was born in Chanthaburi city, not so far from Bangkok, the capital of my amazing Thailand!
In my family we’ve long culinary tradition and, since my mother introduced me the art of cooking when I was 12 years old, I truly believe that the tradition will continue with my two daughters that are already showing interest and good skills in cooking!
Since my childhood, I always dreamt of cooking good food and now I express myself through my dishes.
At the very beginning of my career I was trained by Chef Seavilat, a very famous Thai Chef, that mastered my skills to use only traditional ingredients and to follow exactly the original Thai recipes. Since then I traveled around the world to bring the real flavors of my country to all my guests.
I naturally mainly love & cook Thai food, but I also like the Chinese cuisine especially when it comes to seafood dishes however, in my house we cook only truly Thai food.
Among all Thai ingredients I really love the galanga but overall I love to use the freshest products possible in order to give the best of my country to my guests.
My job is my passion and I love when my guests are coming to Yum and they directly tell me: Mama, you know what I’m going to eat! It’s a real pleasure to delight you all with my creations! Here you can find few recipes coming directly from my family roots, preserved during the years as the first day I started cooking. Whenever you want to know some more recipes, just come ,what ’s cooking today ?
