The Colombian reality faces every day the problematic of informality, the country has 7,000,000 million people who live from informality, the phenomenon of informality is this phenomenon in large cities. The project is located in the city of Bogota in one of the main stations of the main transportation system, the station attracts an average of 90,000 people days that makes this a very busy place, attracts to all kinds of informal activities around it, the intention is to include and connect these activities to the operation of the station and in the spaces that are in its immediate. Doing a detailed study of the place it is clear that it is necessary to generate a series of elements that interact between the programs proposed by the vendors and the urban

guaranteed by organizing the space , creating security, comfort for all the users.

“Inside� layering building, street, security and family. Location - Corneel Heymanslaan 15, 9000 Gent Studio : Bram Aerts - KU LEUVEN

The building try to introduce small quality spaces in the middle of a heavy form, some the sky, to a with a double high entrance which connects the interior with the exterior, the building also plays a layering of functions and qualities. It try to captures the feeling of some commercial spaces, from the small shop to the big shops, the idea of the bakery and the big supermarket at the same time, some spaces try to bring the feeling of the convenient street where kids play and families interact each other. The building also try too play with materiality, using bricks as a strong material for the facades and glass as light material for the light volumes and the interior spaces; Glass use as an element that breaks the mass and brings the feeling of lightness inside the building . ronment, small apartments for young people and housing unit for families.
