For the Spring 2011 Collection, Adriano Goldschmied blends innovative techniques, luxurious fabrics and strong silhouettes to create a collection that embodies an inherent sophistication that Goldsign has become renowned for. Goldschmied draws inspiration from physical surroundings and textures such as water, air, rocks and the sands of the deserts to generate a new and incredibly natural range of indigo and neutral hues. Cotton is blended with tencel, cupro and bamboo to create unique fabrications with an amazing hand feel, which compliment the superior fits seen throughout the collection. By using natural rocks and sand to create new mineral colors, Goldschmied continues to pioneer groundbreaking techniques, wherein garments are mineral dyed by hand to create a very pure and earthy color palette. Goldschmied expands on proven fits with variations in length, volume and fabrication, such as Capri super stretch denim leggings, cropped boyfriend chinos, sateen slouchy slim fits and ž sleeve denim shirts. Building upon last season’s introduction of the wide leg are new trouser bodies and cropped wide legs in denim, linen and twill.

As the man responsible for pioneering designer denim, Goldschmied applies his highly conceptual vision to the collection each season. He creates a story of fashion by taking different textiles, fits, finishes and treatments and putting them together in new ways.

hat makes Goldsign all the more extraordinary is that Goldschmied himself oversees the private laundry in Los Angeles where each and every pair is made. He takes the creation from the design studio through manufacturing, guaranteeing each garment passes his rigorous approval process.
