قَلاَل رسوُل ال صلى ال عليه وسلم ثل ُ َوَرَزهقهُِم ْنن َح قين، ً َو ِمنْننُك ّلن َه ّمن فنَرجرا، ًَم ْنن لَِزَم الْس تِنْغَف رانَر َج َعنَل اُل لَهُ ِم ْنن ُك ّلن ِض قينٍق َمَْرجرا ِ رواه أبو داود.س ب ن ُ ََْيت
"One who constantly seeks forgiveness (from Allah), Allah will create for him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from where he expects not." رواه البخاري
ِ ِ ِ ِ . ًي َم ّرنة َ ب إِلَْقيه ف القينَْو من أَْك َث نَر م ْنن َس ْبنع ُ وال إّن لَْس تنَْغف ُرن ال وأَُتو
"By Allah, I seek Allah's forgiveness and repent to Him more than seventy times a day."
َو َمنران أُْع ِطنَين أََح ٌدن. ص بنّْرهُ اُل َ ُص بنّْر ي َ َ َو َمنْنن ينت، اُل
ِ َو َمنْنن يَْس تنَْغِن ينُْغنِِه، فن يُِعفهُ اُل ْ َو َمنْنن يَْس تنَْع فن ُمّتَفٌق عليه. ص ْبن ّ َعطَراًء َخ ْين اًن نَوأْو َسنَعنِم َنن ال
Whosoever would be chaste and modest; Allah will keep him chaste and modest and whosoever would seek self-sufficiency, Allah will make him self-sufficient; and whosoever would be patient, Allah will grant him patience, and no one is granted a gift better and more comprehensive than patience".
ٍ ِ عج بنراً لم ِرن اُل نمؤننمِن إّن أم رنه ُك لّنه لَه خي ولَقي ِ ص رانبنْتَهُ َس ّرناُء َش َكنَرن َ س ذل ْ ََ َ َ إْن أ:ك لََح دن إل للُم ْنمؤنمننن َ ٌ ُ ُ َُْ رواه مسلم. ن خ ْين اً نلَه ُ َ َ ص بنَر َفكرا َ ص رانبنْتَهُ ضَراُء َ وإْن أ، َُفكراَن َخ يانً لَه
"How wonderful is the case of a believer; there is good for him in everything and this applies only to a believer. If he gets prosperous, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is better for him".
ِ ِ ٍ ٍ َ ول و، بن ٍص َح ّتن، َول َغّم، ى َ َب اُل ْسنلنَم م ْنن ن َ َ ً َول أَذ، َول َح َزنن، نَنول َه ّمن، صنبن ُ َم ران يُصقي ُمّتَفٌق َعَليِه.ك ّفنرن اُل ِبرا ِم نن خ طَنرايراه ُ َ ْ َ َ َ الّش ونَك ةُن يَُش رانُك َهنران إل
"Never a believer is stricken with a discomfort, an illness, an anxiety, a grief or mental worry or even the pricking of a thorn but Allah will expiate his sins on account of his patience".
ٌَم ران ينَزاُل البَلَءُ براُل نمؤنِم ِنن َواُل ْنمؤنِمننَنِةف نفِس ِه نوَو لَنِد ِهن َو َمنرانلِِه َح ّتن ينَْلَق ىن ال تنَعراَل َو َمنران َعلَقيِه َخ ِطنقينئَة
رواه الترمذي "A Muslim, male or female, continues to remain under trial in respect of his life, property and offspring until he faces Allah, the Exalted, with no sin record".
قَلاَل رسوُل ال صلى ال عليه وسلم ت فَراْس تَنعِْن براِل ت فَ لأ َ اْح َف نِظن اَل َِت ْدن هُ نُتَراَه، ك َ اْح َف نِظن اَل َْيَف ظْن َ وإَِذا اْس تنَعْن، راسَِل ال َ ْ إَِذا َس لأنل، كن ،ك َ َت َعَل ى أْن يَننَْف ُعنوَك بَِش ينٍء َلْ يَننَْف ُعنوَك إل بَِش ينٍء هقَْد َك تَننبهُ اُل ل ْ أّن الُّمَةن لَْو اْج تَنَم َعن: َواْع لَنْم. ِ رفِع، ك ت الَهقْلَُم ُ َضّرنوَك بَِش ينٍء َلْ ي ُ ََو إِنن اجتََم ُعنوا َعَل ى أْن ي َ ُ َ ضّروَك إل بَِش ينٍء هقَْد َك تَنبَهُ اُل َعلَْقي ِ وج ّفن ف ّ تنال ُ ص ُفحن ََ
رواه الترمذي Be watchful of Allah (Commandments of Allah), He will preserve you. Safeguard His Rights, He will be ever with you. If you beg, beg of Him Alone; and if you need assistance, supplicate to Allah Alone for help. And remember that if all the people gather to benefit you, they will not be able to benefit you except that which Allah had foreordained (for you); and if all of them gather to do harm to you, they will not be able to afflict you with anything other than that which Allah had pre-destined against you. The pens had been lifted and the ink had dried up"
ِ ِ ت َك رانَن َ َص رانب َ ص َعَل ى َم ران ينَنَْف عُن ُ ك َش ينٌء َفل تنَُقْلن لَْو أّن فنَعْل ْ اْح ِر ن َ َ َو إنْن أ. واْس تَنعْن بِرال َول تنَْع َجنْزن، ك ِ و منران َش رانَء َفعل ؛ فإّن لَو تنْف تَنح عم لن الّش قينطَرا، َهقدر اللِّه: و لَنِكن هقُل،َك َذنانوَك َذنان رواه مسلم.ن ََ ُ ْ ْ َ َ َ ََ ُ َ ْ َ
Adhere to that which is beneficial for you. Keep asking Allah for help and do not refrain from it. If you are afflicted in any way, do not say: 'If I had taken this or that step, it would have resulted into such and such,' but say only: 'Allah so determined and did as He willed.' The word 'if' opens the gates of satanic thoughts".
ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ب ِعْنَد اِل ّ إّن ال َ وإّن الّرُج َلن لََقيصُد ُقن َح ّتن يُْك تَن، وإّن الب َيهد ين إَل الَنّة، ص دنَق ينَْه دن ين إَل الّب ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ بن ُ َو إِنّن الّرُج َلن لَقيَْك ذن، َو إِنّن الُف ُجنونَر َيهد ين إَِل النّراِر، بن ينَْه دن ين إَِل الُف ُجنونِر َ َو إِنّن الَك ذن. ًص ّد نيننقرا ُمتنَّف ٌقن َعلَقيِه. ًك ّذناننبرا َ ب ِعْنَد ال َ ََح ّتن ُيكت
"Truth leads to piety and piety leads to paradise. A man persists in speaking the truth till he is enrolled with Allah as a truthful. Falsehood leads to vice and vice leads to the Fire (Hell), and a person persists on telling lies until he is enrolled as a liar". رواه التمذ ي
ِ ِ . ٌبنِريبَة ّ ك ؛ فإّن ال َ ُك إَِل َم ران ل يَِريب َ َُدْع َم ران يَِريب َ َوالَك ذن، ٌص دنَق طَُم لأننقينَة
"Give up what is doubtful to you for that which is not doubtful; for truth is peace of mind and falsehood is doubt". متفق َعلَْقيِه
ِ فإّن الظّّن أْك َذ نبنالِدين، إيّراُك من والظّّن . ث َ ُ ْ
Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales."
رواه الترمذي وغيُره. حديث حسن.
ِم ْنن ُح ْسن ِننإْس لنِم اَل ْرن ِء نتنَْرُك هُن َم ران ل ينَْع نِنقيِه
"It is from the excellence of (a believer's) Islam that he should shun that which is of no concern to him".
قَلاَل رسوُل ال صلى ال عليه وسلم متفٌق َعلَْقيِه.
اتنُّقونا النّراَر َو لَنْو بِِش ّق نَتَْرٍة فََم ْنن َلْ َِي ْدن فَبَِك لِنَم ٍةن طَقيّبٍَة
"Guard yourselves against the Fire (of Hell) even if it be only with half a date-fruit (given in charity); and if you cannot afford even that, you should at least say a good word." رواه مسلم.
ِ ل َْتِق رنّن ِم نن الْم عنرنو َو لَنْو أْن تنَْلَق ىن أَخ رانَك بَوْج ٍه نطَْلقيٍق، ًف َش ْقينئرا ُْ َ َ َ
"Do not disdain a good deed, (no matter how small it may seem) even if it is your meeting with your (Muslim) brother with a cheerful face." متفٌق َعلَْقيِه
ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ . تن ْ ص ُمن ْ َ فنَْلقينَُقْلن َخ ْين اًن نأَْو لقي،َو َمنْنن َك رانَن ينُْنمؤ منُنن بِرال َوالَقيوم الخ ِر ن
“..he who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent."
َول َِي ّلن لُِم ْسن لِنٍم، ً َوُك ونُوا ِعبَراَد اِل إْخ َونانرا، َول تنَق رانطَُعوا، َول تََد اننبنَُروا، َول َتَراَس ُدنوان، ضونا ُ ل تنبَراَغ ٍ َأْن ينه ج نرن أخ رانه فنو َقن ثَل متفق َعلَْقيِه. ث َْ ُ َ َ ُ َْ
"Do not harbour grudge against one another, nor jealousy, nor enmity; and do not show your backs to one another; and become as fellow brothers and slaves of Allah. It is not lawful for a Muslim to avoid speaking with his brother beyond three days."
ِ ب َ َإيّراُك ْمن َوالََس َدن ؛ َفإّن الََس َدن يَلأُك ُلن الََس نَنرات َك َمنران تَلأُك ُلن النّراُر الَط
رواه أَُبو داود "Beware of envy because envy consumes (destroys) the virtues just as the fire consumes the firewood," or he said "grass."
ِ ك نعلَقي ،ك َ ُكن بنْقيَت َ َو لْنقيََس ْعن، ك َ َك لَس رانن َ ْ َ ْ أَْم ِسن: يَرا رسوَل اِل َمران النَّج رانةُ ؟ هقَراَل: هقنْلُُت: وعن عقبة بن عرامٍر هقَراَل ِ واب رواه التمذ ي. ك َ ِك َعَل ى َخ ِطنقينئَت ْ
'Uqbah bin 'Amir (May Allah be pleased with him) said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), "How can salvation be achieved?" He replied, "Control your tongue, keep to your house, and weep over your sins." ُمتنَّف ٌقن َعلَقيِه
ِ وح ِجن ب ن، ت النّرار برالّش هنوانِت ِ ِ . تالَنّةُ بِراَل َكنرانِرِه َ َ َُ ُ ُح جن بَ ن
"The (Hell) Fire is surrounded with all kinds of desires and passions, while Jannah is surrounded with adversities."
رواه أَُبو داود وغيه، حديث حسن
. ُك ّلن أْم ٍرن ِذ ين بَراٍل ل ينُْبدأُ فِقيِه بِرالَْم ُد ن ِل فنَُه َون أهقْطَُع
"Any matter of importance which is not begun with Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) remains defective."
قَلاَل رسوُل ال صلى ال عليه وسلم ي َ َ َم ران ب- ُ أَْو َتْل- لمُد ل َت نآلننن َ َو ُسنْبنَُفح رانَنال وا، لمُد ل َتْلُ القيَزاَن َ وا، الطُّه ونُر َش طْنُر اِل امينران ِ الّس منراوات َوالَْر ك ّ وال، صدنهقةُ ُبرَه رانٌن ّ وال، ص لنةُ ُنوٌر ّ ن نوال، ضن َ ك أَْو َعلَْقي َ َ والُقْرننآُن ُح جنةٌ ل، صبنُْر ِض قينراٌء ِ ُك ّلن النّرا. رواه مسلم. س ينَْغُد ون فنبَرائٌع َنفس هُن فَُم ْعنتِنُق َهنران أَْو ُمونبُِق هنرا َ
"Wudu' is half of Salah; the utterance of (Al-hamdu lillah - all praise belongs to Allah) fills the Scales of good actions; the utterance of (Subhan Allah wa Al-hamdu lillah) (Allah is far removed from every imperfection and all praise belongs to Allah) fills the space between the heavens and the earth, and Salat (prayer) is light; and charity is the proof of Faith; and endurance is light, and the Qur'an is a plea in your favour or against you. Every person departs; he either ransoms it or puts it into perdition". رواه البخاري.
بن َ ل تنَْغ: َقاَل، بن َفَرّدَد ِمرارًا َ ل تنَْغ: َقاَل. أوِصني: أّن َرُجلً َقاَل للنبي: وعن أبي هريرَة ْ ض ْ ض
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: A man asked the Prophet (PBUH) for an advice and he (PBUH) said, "Do not get angry". The man repeated that several times and he replied, "Do not get angry". رواه مسلم
ِ . َو لَنكن يْنظُُر إل هقنُُلوِبكْم، صَوِركْم ُ ول ِإل،إّن ال ل يْنظُُر ِإل أْج َس نرانم ُكنْمن
"Allah does not look at your figures, nor at your attire but He looks at your hearts and accomplishments".
ِ ٍ ك ْ ص لنتِه ف بقيتِه وصلته ِف ُس ونهقِِه ب َ َو َذنل،ض عنراً وِعشِريَن َدَرنَج ًةن َ ص لنةُ الّرجِل ف جَراَعة تَزيُد َعَل ى َ ِ ل يُِريُد إل، ُص لنة ّ أّن َأحَد ُهنْمن إَِذا تنَو َ ل يَننَْه ُزنهُ ِإل ال، ُثّ أََت ى اَل ْسنجن َد ن، ض لأنَن َلأفَْح َس نَنن الُوضوَء ّ َوُح، ط ُخ طْنوًة ِإل ُرفَِع لَهُ ِبَرا َدرنَج ةٌن فِإذا،طن َعْنهُ برا َخ ِطنقينئَةٌ َح ّتن يَْد ُخ نَلن اَل ْسنِجن َد ن ّ ال َ ُ ْ َلْ َي: صلنَة ِ ّ ت ال ِ ِ ِ َصلنِة م ران َك رانن ص لّنوَن َعَل ى أََح ِدنُك ْمن َم ران َ ُ َواَل ل نئَك ةُني، صلنةُ ه ين َْتبُِس هُن َ ّ َدَخنَلن اَل ْسنجن َد نَك رانَن ف ال ِ ِ ِ ِِ ِِ َم ران َل، ب َعلَقيِه َ َدانَم ف َْملس ه نالّذ ين ْ ُ اللُّه ّمن ت، ُ اللُّه ّمن اْغفنْرن لَه، ُ اللُّه ّمن اْرَحْه: ينَُقونُلوَن، ص لّن ى فقيه ِ ْ م ران َل ُيِد، يننمؤ ِذن فقيه ُمتنَّف ٌقن علقيه. ثن فقيِه ُْ ْ ْ َ
"The reward for Salat performed by a person in congregation is more than 20 times greater than that of the Salat performed in one's house or shop. When one performs Wudu' perfectly and then proceeds to the mosque with the sole intention of performing Salat, then for every step he takes towards the mosque, he is upgraded one degree in reward and one of his sins is eliminated until he enters the mosque, and when he enters the mosque, he is considered as performing Salat as long as it is the Salat which prevents him (from leaving the mosque); and the angels keep on supplicating Allah for him as long as he remains in his place of prayer. They say: 'O Allah! have mercy on him; O Allah! forgive his sins; O Allah! accept his repentance'. This will carry on as long as he does not pass wind "
قَلاَل رسوُل ال صلى ال عليه وسلم ِ ّإّن اَل َك تنب الس نَنراِت والّس قيّنئراِت ُثّ بن فََم ْنن َه ّمن بََس نَنٍة فنَلَْم ينَْعَمنْلنَه ران َك تَنَبهرا اُل تنبَراَرَك، ك َ ي ذل َ ََ ََ َ َ ٍ و إنْن َه ّمن برا فنعِم لَنه ران َك تَننبنه ران اُل َعْش ر ن ح سنننراٍت ِإل س ْبنع مئِة ِض ْعن، وتنعرال ِعْنَد هن ح سننَنًة كراِم لَنًة فن ََ َ َ َ َ َ َ ََ َ ََ ُ ٍ ِإل َأضعرا َو إنْن َه ّمن ِبَرا، وإْن َه ّمن بَِس قيّنئٍَة فنَلَْم ينَْعَمنْلنَه ران َك تَننبنَه ران اُل ِعْنَد هُن َح َسننَنًة َك رانِم لنًة، ف َك َثننيٍة َ ُمتنَّف ٌقن عل ِقيه. د نًة ن َ فنَعِم لَنَه ران َك تَننبنََه ران اُل َس قيّنئًَة َواِح
"Verily, Allah has ordered that the good and the bad deeds be written down. Then He explained it clearly. He who intends to do a good deed but he does not do it, then Allah records it for him as a full good deed, but if he carries out his intention, then Allah the Exalted, writes it down for him as from ten to seven hundred folds, and even more. But if he intends to do an evil act and has not done it, then Allah writes it down with Him as a full good deed, but if he intends it and has done it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed"
، َوَرَزهقنِقيِهِم ْنن َغ ِْي َح ْونٍلنِم ّنن َول هقنُّوٍة، الَْم ُد ن ِل الِّذ ين أطَْعَم ِنن َه َذنان الطعرام: َفقرال،َم ْنن أَك َلن طََعراَم راًن رواه أَُبو داود والتمذ ي. ذنْبِِه َ غُِف َرن لَهُ َم ران تنَق ّدنَمن ِم ْنن
"He who has taken food and says at the end: All praise is due to Allah Who has given me food to eat and provided it without any endeavour on my part or any power),' all his past sins will be forgiven."
َواْحَُد وان إَِذا، َوَسّوا إَِذا أننْتُْم َش ِربنْتُْم، ث َ َ َو لَنِكِن اْش َرنبُوا َم َثنَْن َو ثنُل، ل تَْش َرنبُوا َواِح د ناًَك ُشنْرنِبالبَعِِي رواه التمذ ي. أننتُم رفنع تُنم ْ َْ َ ْ ْ
"Do not drink in one gulp like a camel, but in two or three (gulps). Mention the Name of Allah (i.e., say Bismillah) when you start drinking and praise Him (i.e., say Al-hamdu lillah) after you have finished (drinking)."
ِ ِ ِ ٍ ِ ِ ِ ي ُج ْزن ء ناً ِم َنن َ َوُرْيؤ يَنراالُْم ْنمؤنمنِننُج ْزن ٌء نم ْنن س تّ نة َوأْربَع، بن ُ ب الّزَم رانُن َلْ تََك ْدن ُريؤيَرا اُل ْنمؤنمنِننتَْك ذ ن َ إَِذا اهقْنتنَر متفٌق َعلَْقيِه. الّنبنّوِة ُ
"When the time draws near (i.e., near the end of the world), the dream of a believer can hardly be false; and the dream of a believer represents one part from forty-six parts of Prophethood."
ٍ ِ ِ ٍ ٍ ٍ ِ ص رانلٍِح َ إَِذا َم ران َ أَْو َو لَند، أَْو عْلٍم ينُْنتنَف ُعن بِه، ص َدنهقَنة َج رانِريَة َ : ت ابُْن نآَدَمن اننَْق طَنَع َعَم لُنهُ ِإل م ْنن َثلث رواه مسلم. د عُننو لَه ُ َْي
"When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous decendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."
قَلاَل رسوُل ال صلى ال عليه وسلم رواه التمذ ي
. ً أَْو ُمتنَعّلمرا، ً َو َعنراِلمرا، ُ َو َمنران َواله، ِإل ِذْك َر ن ال تنَعراَل، َم ْلنُعوٌن َم ران فِقيَه ران، ٌالّد ننْقيَرا َم ْلنُعونَة
"The world, with all that it contains, is accursed except for the remembrance of Allah that which pleases Allah; and the scholars and seekers of knowledge."
ِ ِ ِ ِ إّن اَل ل ينْق بِن ِ ض العِْلَم بَِق ْبن ُ َو لنكْن ينَْق بِن، ض العْلَم انْتَزاعراً يَْنَتزعهُ م َنن النّراِس ُ َ ْ َح ّتن إَِذا َل، ض العُلََم رانِء ِ ِ ِ ِ ّ متفٌق َعلَْقيِه.ض لّنوا َ َ ف، فَُس ئنلُوا فَلأْفتوا بِغَِْي عْلٍم، ًس ُرُيؤوسراً ُج ّهنرانل َ ض لّنوا َوأ ُ اتََذ النّرا، ًينْبُق َعرالمرا
"Verily, Allah does not take away knowledge by snatching it from the people, but He takes it away by taking away (the lives of) the religious scholars till none of the scholars stays alive. Then the people will take ignorant ones as their leaders, who, when asked to deliver religious verdicts, will issue them without knowledge, the result being that they will go astray and will lead others astray."
إّن الّرُج َلن: ل يَْد ُخ نُلن الَنَّة َم ْنن َك رانَن ِف هقنَْلبِِه ِم َثنَْق رانُل َذّرٍة ِم ْنن كِ ٍْب ! فنَق رانَل َرُج ٌلن: وعن ابن مسعوٍد عن النب هقَراَل َِ إّن اَل: فنَق رانَل، وننْع لُنه ح سنننًة، ًبن أَْن يُك ونَن ثنو بنه ح سنننرا ِ ، بَطَُر الَّق: الِكبنُْر، بن الََم رانَل ّ ج قينٌل ُِي َ ّ ُي َ َ ُ َ َ َ َ ُُ َْ ِ ط نالنّرا رواه مسلم. س ُ َو َغنْم
Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "The haughty, even with pride equal to a mustard seed in his heart, will not enter Jannah." A man enquired: "What about that a person likes fine dress and fine shoes?" He said: "Allah is Beautiful and likes beauty. Pride amounts to disclaiming truth out of self-esteem, and despising people ." رواه مسلم
. َ َلأفَْك َثِنُروا الّد َعنراء،ب َم ران يَُك ونُن الَعْبُد ِم ْنن َربِّه َوُه َون َس رانِج ٌدن ن ُ أهقنَْر
"A slave becomes nearest to his Rubb when he is in prostration. So increase supplications while prostrating."
ِ ِ ِضني ن فَِريض ةًن ِم نن فنرائ ِِ ٍ ضن ىن إل بنقي ِ لِقينْق، ت ِم نن بنقيوِت اللِّه ت َ ُثّ َم، َم ْنن تَطَّه َرن ف بنْقيَته ْ َ َك رانن، ض اللّه َ ُ ْ َْ َ ْ َ ِ ّ إح َد نانه رانَت، خ طنُواتُه رواه مسلم. خ رننىتنرفَع َد رنج ًةن ُ َ ْ ُ ُ َ َ ُ َْ َ ْ ُ َوال، ط َخ طنقينئًَة
"He who purifies (performs Wudu') himself in his house and then walks to one of the houses of Allah (mosque) for performing an obligatory Salat, one step of his will wipe out his sins and another step will elevate his rank (in Jannah)."

ِ ي ف الظّلَِم إل اَل َسنرانِج ِدنبِنرالّنوِر التّراّم ينَْو َمن الِق قيَنراَم ِةن َ بَّش ُرنوا اَل ّشنرانئ
"Convey glad tidings to those who walk to the mosque in the darkness. For they will be given full light on the Day of Resurrection."
ِ ِ ل ينزاُل أح ُدنُك من ف ص لَنٍة م ران دانم ِ ّ ب إل أهلِِه إل ال ّ تن ال ُصلنة ََ َ َ ْ َ َ َ ل َامي ننَعُهُ أْن َينَق لن، صلَنةُ َْتبُس هُن متفٌق َعلَْقيِهن
قَلاَل رسوُل ال صلى ال عليه وسلم "Everyone among you will be deemed to be occupied in Salat (prayer) constantly so long as Salat (the prayer) detains him (from worldly concerns), and nothing prevents him from returning to his family but Salat."

ِ ِ ِ ص َُفحنرانبِِه ْ َاهقنَْرُيؤوا الُقْرننآَن ؛ َفإنّهُ يَلأِت ينَْو َمن الق قيَنراَم ةن َش فنقينعراً ل
"Read the Qur'an, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection."

. َخ قينُْرُك ْمن َم ْنن تنَعلَّم الُْقْرننآَن َوَعنلَّم هُن
"The best amongst you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it."
رواه مسلم
. إّن اَل ينَْرفَُع ِبََذ ان الِكتَراِب أهقنَْوامراً َوينََض ُعن بِِه نآخِريَن
"Verily, Allah elevates some people with this Qur'an and abases others."
ِ ِ ٍ ْو أّن لبِن نآَدَمن واِدينراً ِم ْنن َذَه َب اُل ّ بن أَح ُ َو ينَْتو، ب ُ َو لَنْن َاميْلَ فَراهُ إل التنَّرا، بن أْن يُك ونَن لَهُ َوادينران َ ُمّتَفٌق عليه. عَل ى م نن تَراب َ َْ َ If the son of Adam has a valley of gold he will desire for two. And never his mouth will be filled but with earth. And Allah forgives who asks for forgiveness.
رواه التمذ ي "Keep your tongue wet with the remembrance of Allah."
ِ . ك َرطبراً ِم ْنن ِذْك ِرن ال تعرال َ ُل يَزاُل لَس رانن
قَلاَل رسوُل ال صلى ال عليه وسلم ِ َ بن إ ِ ِ ل برالنّوافِِل َّ ب إ ّ ّ ل َعْبد ي بَش ينٍء أََح َّ ِب إ ْ ل مّرا افْنتنَر ُ ض ُ َو َمنران ينَزاُل َعْبد ين ينَتقّر، تن َعلَقيه َ َو َمنران تنَق ّرن ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ شن ُ َفإَذا َأحَببتُهُ ُك ْنن، َُح ّتن أح بّ نه ُ ويََد هُن اّل يت ينْبَط، ص َرنهُ الّذ ين ينْبُص ُر ن بِه َ َ َو بن، ت َس َع نهُ الّذ ين يَْس َمنُعن بِه ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ رواه البخاري. ذ نّنه ُ َ َو لَنئِن اْس تنَعراَذِن لُعقي، ُ َو إنْن َس لأَنَلن لُْع طنقيننَّه، َوِرْج لَنهُالِّ يت َْاميشي بَرا، بَرا
And the most beloved thing with which My slave comes nearer to Me is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (prayer or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) till I love him. When I love him I become his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks (something) from Me, I give him, and if he asks My Protection (refuge), I protect him".
وأْرفَعَِه ران، وأْزَك رانَه رانِعْنَد َم لِنقيِكُك ْمن، أل ُأننبَّئُُك ْمن ِبَِْي أْعمنرالُِك ْمن: هقَراَل رُس ونُل ال: وعن َأيب الدرداِء هقرال ِ وَخ ٍينلَُك ْمن ِم ْنن إننَْف رانِق الّذ َهن،ف َدرنَج رانتُِك ْمن ض ِرنبُوا ّ بن والِف ْ َ َوَخ ٍْينلَُك ْمن ِم ْنن أن تنَْلَق ونا َعُد ّونُك ْمنفنت، ضنِةن َ َ ِ رواه التمذ ي. علاَلى ْ َأْعنَنراهقنَُه ْمن َو ين َ ذركر ال تت: هقَراَل، بنََل ى: ض ِرنبُوا أْعنَنراهقَُك ْمن ؟ هقَرالَوا
Abud-Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Shall I not inform you of the best of your actions which are the purest to your Rubb, which exalt you to the high ranks, which are more efficacious than spending gold and silver (in charity), and better for you than you should encounter your enemies whom you will smite their necks and they will smite your necks?" They said, "Certainly." He (PBUH) said, "Remembrance of Allah the Exalted."
ل تُْك َثِنُروا الَك لَنَم بِغَِْي ِذْك ِر ن اِل ؛ َفإّن َك َثنَْرَة الَك لَنِم: هقَراَل رسول ال: وعن ابن عمر رضي ال عنهمرا هقَراَل ِ ب ! وإّن أبنعَد النّراِس ِم نن اِل تعرال الَق ْلنب الَق ران ِ بِغَِْي ِذْك ِر ن اِل تنَعراَل هقَس ونةٌ ِللَق ْلن رواه التمذ ي. س ي ن َْ َ ُ َْ
Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Do not indulge in excessive talk except when remembering Allah. Excessive talking without the Remembrance of Allah hardens the heart; and those who are the farthest from Allah are those whose hearts are hard." رواه البخرار ي
ِ م َثَنل الِّذ ين يْذُك رن ربّه والِّذ ين ل يْذُك رنه م َثَنل الي واَل قيّن .ت َ َّ ُ َ ُُ َ ََُُ َ ُ َ
"The similitude of one who remembers his Rubb and one who does not remember Him, is like that of the living and the dead."
ذََك ْرنتُهُ ف، فإْن ذََك َرنِن ف ننَْف ِسن ِه ن، َوأَنَرا َم َعنهُ إَِذا ذََك َرنِن، أنرا ِعْنَد ظَّن َعْبِد ين ِيب: يقول ال تنَعراَل ِ ٍ ٍ متفق َعلَْقيِه.ين ِم ننه من ْ ُْ ٍْ وإْن ذََك رِنن ف مل َذكرتُهُ ف َم لن َخ،ننَْف سن ي ن
"Allah the Exalted says: 'I am as my slave expects me to be, and I am with him when he remembers Me. If he remembers Me inwardly, I will remember him inwardly, and if he remembers Me in an assembly, I will remember him in a better assembly (i.e., in the assembly of angels)."
قَلاَل رسوُل ال صلى ال عليه وسلم َك لِنَم تَنراِن َخ ِفنقينَف تَنراِن َعَل ى اللَّس رانِن ،ثَِق قينلَتَراِن ِف القيَِزاِن َ ،ح بِنقيبَتَراِن إَِل الّرْح ِن ن نُ :س ْبتَح لاتَن اِل َو بِتَح ْمتِدتِهتُ ،س ْبتَح لاتَن اِل العظي ِ م .متفٌق َعلَْقيِه بن إ َ ِ ت لَْن أَُهقوَل ُ :س ْبتَح لاتَن اِل َ ،واتلَح ْمتُدتِل َ ،وال إلَه ِإال اُل َ ،واتُل أْرك بتَُر ،أََح ّ ّ ل مّرا طَلََع ْ ِ ش من س ن .رواه مسلم َعلَْقيه ال ّ ْ ُ ِ ِ ح ْمتِدتِهت . بن الَك لَنِم إَِل اِل ؟ إّن أََح ّ أل أُْخ ِبُنَك ِلأبََح ّ بن الَك لَنِم إَِل ال ُ :س ْبتَح لاتَن ال َو بِت َ
رواه مسلم
"Shall I tell you the expression that is most loved by Allah?" It is 'Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi' (Allah is free "from imperfection and His is the praise)'.
هقُْل :اللُّه ّمت اْغِف ْرت ِل ي َ ،واتْرَح ْمتنِتت يَواتْه ِدتنِت ي َ ،واتْرُزقِْن ي.
رواه مسلم
(O Allah! Grant me pardon, have mercy upon me, direct me to righteousness and provide me )subsistence
صلَنِة َوَسنلّنَم ،هقَراَل :ال إلَه ِإال اُل َوْح َدتهُتال غ ِم َنن ال ّ وعن الغية بن شعبة أّن رسول ال َك رانَن إَِذا فنَر َ ت، ك لَهُ ،لَهُ الُم ْلت ُ َش ِرتكي َ ك َو لَتهُ الَح ْمتُدتَ ،و ُهتَوت َعَلى ُرك ّلت َش ْ يت ق ٍء تقَِد كيتٌر ،اللُّه ّمت ال َملاتنَِع لَِم لات أَْعطَتْي َ ك الَج ّ دت .متفٌق َعلَْقيِه تت َ ،وال كيَتنتَْف ُعت َذا الَج ّدت ِم ْنت َ َوال ُمْعِطتَ يت لَِم لات َمنتَْع َ
(there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him, His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent. O Allah! None can deny that which You bestow and none can )bestow that which You hold back; and the greatness of the great will be of no avail to them against You
ُأوِص قينَك يَرا ُمَعنراذُ ل تََد َعنّن ف ُدبُِر ُك ّلن َصلَنة تنَُقونُل :اللُّه ّمت أَِع نّت ي َعَلى ِذْرك ِرتَك َ ،و ُشتْكت ِرتَكَ ،وُح ْستِنت ك .رواه أَُبو داود بإسنراد صُفحي ِع بَتلاَدتتِ َ
)(O Allah, help me remember You, to be grateful to You, and to worship You in an excellent manner
صلَنِة يَُك ونُن ِم ْنن نآِخ ِر نَم ران ينَُقونُل بنَْ َي التَّش ّهنِدن َوالتّْس لِنقيِم :اللُّه ّمت وعن علّي هقرال َ :ك رانَن َرُس ونُل ال إَِذا هقَراَم إَِل ال ّ ت أْعلَتُم بِِه تتَ ،و َمتلات أْس َرتْر ُ تت َو َمتلات أّخ ْرت ُ ت َ ،و َمتلات أنْ َ ت َ ،و َمتلات أْس َرتفْ ُ تَو َمتلات أْعلَتْن ُ اْغِف ْرت ِل ي َملات قَّد ْمت ُ ت .رواه مسلم ت الُم َؤتّختُرت ،ال إلَه ِإال أنْ َ ت الُْم َقتّدتُمت َ ،وأتنْ َ ِم نّت ي ،أنْ َ
(O Allah! Forgive my former and latter sins, which I have done secretly and those which I have done openly, and that I have wronged others, and those defaults of mine about which You have better knowledge than I have. You Alone can send whomever You will to Jannah, and You Alone can send )whomever You will to Hell-fire. None has the right to be worshipped but You.
قَلاَل رسوُل ال صلى ال عليه وسلم ك اللُّه ّمت َربتّنَ لا وعن عرائشة َرِض َي ناُل عنهرا ،هقرالت َ :ك رانَن النّب يُْك َثِنُر أْن ينَُقونَل ف ُرُك ونِعِهن َوُسنُجنونِدِهنُ :س ْبتَح لاتنَ َ ِ غِف رت ِل ي .متفٌق َعلَْقيِه وبَِح ْمتدتَكت ،اللُّه ّمت ا ْ ْ
)(O Allah! You are free from imperfection and I begin with praising You. Forgive my sins
ك َعَل ى َك ْننٍز ِم ْنن ُك نُنوِز الَنِّة ؟ فقلت :بل ى يَرا وعن َأيب موس ى هقَراَل :هقَراَل ل رسوُل ال :أل أُدلّ َ لتوال قتّو َةت ِإال بلاِل .متفق َعلَْقيِه رسوَل ال هقَراَل :ال َح ْوت َ َ ُ
Abu Musa (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said to me, "Shall I not guide you to a treasure from the treasures of Jannah?" I said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" Thereupon he (PBUH) said, "(Recite) 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah' (There is no change of a condition nor power "except by Allah).
ف ،والِغَنى. ك الُه َدت ىت ،والتتَّق ىت ،والَعَف لات َ وعن ابن مسعوٍد أّن النّب َك رانَن يقول :اللُّه ّمت إّن ي أْس لأتلُ َ
رواه مسلم
)(O Allah! I beseech You for guidance, piety, chastity and contentment
صلَنَة ُثّ أم رنه أْن يْد ع نو ِب نمؤ نلَِء الَك لِنم ران ِ ت: ب ال ّ وعن طرارق بن أَْش قيَنَم هقَراَل َ :ك رانَن الّرُج ُلن إَِذا أْس لَنَم َعلَّم هُن النّ ّ َ َ َ ُ َ َُ
اللُّه ّمت اْغِف ْرت ِل ي َ ،واتْرَح ْمتنِتت يَ ،واتْه ِدتنت يَ ،و َعتلاِفن ي َ ،واتْرُزقِْن ي .
رواه مسلم
(O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, guard me against harm and provide me with )sustenance and salvation
ف الُقُلو ِ ب ص ّرت َ وعن عبد ال بن عمرو بن العراص رضي ال عنهمرا ،هقَراَل :هقَراَل رُس ونُل ال :اللُّه ّمت ُم َ ك .رواه مسلم صّرت ْ ف قتُُلوبنَلا َعَلى طَلاَعتِ َ َ
)(O Allah! Controller of the hearts, direct our hearts to Your obedience
وعن َأيب بكر الصديق :أّنه هقَراَل لرُس ونِل ال َ :علّْم ِنن ُدَعراًء أَْد عُنو بِِه ف َصلَنِت ،هقَراَل :هقُْل :اللُّه ّمت إِّن ي ِ ظََلم ُ ِ ِ ت ،فَلاْغِف ْرت ل ي َمْغتِف َرتًة ِم ْنت ِع ْنتِد َكت ، ب ِإال أنْ َ ت نتَْف ست ي تظُْلملاً َرك ثتيراً َ ،وال كيتَْغف ُرت الّذ نُتو َ ِ ح ي تم .متفق َعلَْقيِهن واْرَح ْمتنِتت ي ،إنّ َ ك أنْ َ ت الغَُف وتُر الّر ُ
(O Allah! I have considerably wronged myself. There is none to forgive the sins but You. So grant me )pardon and have mercy on me. You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Compassionate
ت أْعلَتُم بِِه ِم نّت ي ، تتَ ،و َمتلات أْس َرتْر ُ تت َو َمتلات أّخ ْرت ُ ت َ ،و َمتلات أن َ تَو َمتلات أْعلَتْن ُ اللُّه ّمت اْغِف ْرت ل ي َملات قَّد ْمت ُ ِ د كيتر .متفق َعلَْقيِه ت الُم َؤتّختُرت ،وأنْ َ ت الُم َقتّدتُمت ،وأنْ َ أنْ َ ت َعَلى ُرك ّلت َش ْ يت ق ٍء تقَ ٌ
(O Allah! Grant me pardon for those sins which I committed in the past and I may commit in future, which I committed in privacy or in public and all those sins of which You are better aware than me. You Alone
قَلاَل رسوُل ال صلى ال عليه وسلم can send whomever You will to Jannah, and You Alone can send whomever You will to Hell-fire and You are Omnipotent). رواه التمذ ي
. ك َعّم ْنت ِس واتَك ْ َوأتْغنِِن ي بَِف،كت َ ضتِلت َ ك َعْن َح َرتاِم َ ِ اللُّه ّمت اْرك ِفتنت ي بَِح لَتل: هقُْل
(O Allah! Grant me enough of what You make lawful so that I may dispense with what You make unlawful, and enable me by Your Grace to dispense with all but You).
ٍ عن الَب انِءبن عراِز: ُثّ هقَراَل، َك رانَن رسول ال إَِذا أَوى إَِل فَِراِش ِه ننَراَم َعَل ى ِش ّقنِهن الََْامين: هقَراَل، ب رضي ال عنهمرا
ت ْ َو فتَّو، ك ُ َوأتلَْج لأت، ك َ تتأْم ِرت ي إلَْي َ تتَوْج ِهت يتإلَْي َ تتنفس ي إلَْي ُ ضت ُ َوَوّج ْهت، ك ُ اللُّه ّمت أْس لَتْم ك الِّذ يت َ ِت بِكتَلاب َ ك ِإال إَلي َ ال َمْلتَج لأت َوال َمْنتجلا ِم ْنت، ك َ َرْغبًَة َوَرْه بَتًة إلَْي، ظَْه ِرتت ي إلَْيك ُ آَمْنت، ك رواه البخاري. ت َ ّ َو نتَبِي، ت َ ك الِّذ يت أْرَس ْلت َ ْأنتَْزل
Whenever Messenger of Allah (PBUH) went to bed, he would lie down on his right side and recite: "Allahumma aslamtu nafsi ilaika, wa wajjahtu wajhi ilaika, wa fawwadtu amri ilaika, wa 'alja'tu zahri ilaika, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilaika, la malja'a wa la manja illa ilaika. Amantu bikitabikal-ladhi anzalta, wa nabiyyikal-ladhi arsalta [O Allah! I have submitted myself to You, I have turned my face to You, committed my affairs to You, and depend on You for protection out of desire for You and out of fear of You (expecting Your reward and fearing Your punishment). There is no refuge and no place of safety from You but with You. I believed in the Book You have revealed, and in the Prophet You have sent (i.e., Muhammad (PBUH)).]"
ك َو لَتهُ الَح ْمتُدت؛ َو ُهتَوت َعَلى ُرك ّلت َش ْ يت ق ٍء ت ُ لَهُ الُم ْلت، ُك لَه َ َم ْنن هقَراَل ال إلَه ِإال اُل َوْح َدتهُتال َش رتكي ِ ٍ ِ ِ ٍِ ِ ت َعْنهُ ِم ئَنةُ َس قيّنئٍَة ْ َو ُمنقيَن، ت لَهُ م ئَنةُ َح َسننَنة ْ َت لَهُ َعْد َل ن َعْش ِر ن ِرهقَراٍب وُك تنب ْ َ ف ينَْو من م ئَنَة َم ّرنٍة َك رانن، قَد كيتٌر ِ ِ ِ ض َلن ِمّرا َج رانَء بِِه ِإل َ ت لَهُ ِح ْرنزانًِم َنن الّش ْقينطَراِن ينَْو َمنهُن َذل َ ْ َوَلْ يَلأت أََح ٌدن ِلأبَف،ك َح ّتن ُاميْس ي ن ْ َ َوَك رانن، ِِ ٍِ ِ ْ ّ ُح طن، ف ينَْو من م ئَنَة َم ّرنٍة، َم ْنن هقَراَل ُس ْبتَح لاتَن ال َو بِتَح ْمتدتهت: وهقرال. َُرُج ٌلن َعِم َلن أْك َث نَر م ْننه ُت َخ طَنرايَراه ِ متفٌق َعلَْقيِه. ت ِم َثْنل َزبد البُفح ِر ن ْ َ َ َ ْ َ َو إنْن َك رانن،
"He who utters a hundred times in a day these words: 'La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahulmulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa 'ala kulli sha'in Qadir (there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him; His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent),' he will have a reward equivalent to that for emancipating ten slaves, a hundred good deeds will be recorded to
قَلاَل رسوُل ال صلى ال عليه وسلم his credit, hundred of his sins will be blotted out from his scroll, and he will be safeguarded against the devil on that day till the evening; and no one will exceed him in doing more excellent good deeds except someone who has recited these words more often than him. And he who utters: 'Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi (Allah is free from imperfection and His is the praise)' one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean."
