LE HONG NHUNG lehongnhung@raffles-entrepreneur.com [65] 94727586 Raffles College of Higher Education is great school that provides good quality learning. The service and marketing course in the school is very good. The teachers are very friendly, they have good knowledge, and they also give real examples for student to clearly understand their studies. They always help students who have any questions or who have problems understanding in class. Besides focusing on their studies, the students also participate in some activities, like field trips, to experience the practical side of their studies. In my opinion, studying in Raffles bring to me necessary knowledge about my major and I can easily recall my knowledge, although I studied sometime ago.

CAI XIAO LING LORNA caixiaoling@raffles-entrepreneur.com [65] 84016855 I was afraid when I enter into Raffles, now I am afraid when I am leaving. I feel confident to say that it will be hard to find a candidate like me, not only good at individual work but also in group cooperation. Because in the 3 years in Raffles, I wrote at least 70 reports including individual and group reports, I learned 30 subjects including diversity management, foundation of marketing, foundation of finance, basic accounting, computer skills, communication skills and so on, and I can work day and night. That is what Raffles gave to me. However, a college degree is not a sign that one is a finished product but an indication a person is more prepared for life.

Credit goes to Margareth Tesalonika as President of PPI-RDI Indonesian committee in RCHE, for allowing me to join the team as a member and gave me incredible organizational experience. Last but not least, I thank other members of PPIRDI who supported me during organizational time and event time. The most credit goes to my parents and GOD.

I am truly grateful to Raffle’s staff and SAS in Vietnam and Singapore for all their help. Louis L’Amour once said: “The best of all things is to learn. The lecturer then said “In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say hello.” I’ve never forgotten that lesson. I would like to say thank you to Mr. Andrew, Ms. Corazon, Mr. Han, Mr. Joseph Schurley, Mr. Jerwin, who gave me valuable knowledge and confidence. This is the definition that almost every student has in his/ her mind before their college life starts. Once they enter the college, their definition and purpose of coming to college changes to gaining exposure by making new friends, meeting new people, having fun, living a relaxed life without any restrictions, partying, relationships, and then last but not the least, studies. My experience in Raffles reflects the same as stated above. Starting from the orientation day until this graduation day, I have come across and met many new people, many great lecturers, some good staff members, great friends, mind blowing parties, and obviously, some ups and downs in life. I went through a 6 months internship in a 5 star hotel in Singapore with both sad and happy memories. After my advanced diploma and internship, I decided to continue my bachelor degree in Raffles in 2012. This was a right choice because I really enjoyed the course. I have attended classes with my friendly classmates and experienced lecturers who spent hours per class to talk to us about new lessons and to share their life’s interesting stories. I choose Raffles instead of RMIT – a famous and popular international school in Vietnam at that time because Raffles offered a major I’d like to study – Tourism and Hospitality Management. To me, both schools have their advantages and disadvantages. Even though the facility is not good enough but every lecturer is kind and responsible. I remember once, I took the Event Management class. Instead of studying theories, our lecturer wanted us create a real event and he tried his best to convince the school sponsor for us. It was a successful even. We learned more from that rather than using the book. We learned team work, negotiation, communication and organizational methods.

Advanced Diploma in Business (Tourism and Hospitality)

MAI QUYEN HA hamaiquyen@raffles-elite-club.com [65] 85412089 I have successfully completed my Advance Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management in 2 years (April 2010 January 2012) and I have almost finished my 1 year Bachelor of Commerce in Hospitality Management. As a foreign student, I’m thankful to have the opportunity to study in a multicultural environment, to make good friends, to study with cool and kind lecturers, and to go through the hardest times in school. My school days are the happiest days of my life, which should give you some indication of the misery I’ve endured over the past three years in Raffles. But trust me, even your worst moments in school are something that you’ll look back on fondly.

NGUYEN THI NGOC TRANG thingoctrang@raffles-elite-club.com [65] 81992887 Life is an adventure and its continuous struggles make it less boring. It’s neither the success nor the failure that counts. The most important thing is getting up after you fall and continue to fight. That’s what I’ve learnt so far. My journey at Raffles College is really not easy for me. I took on the challenge and finally I can wait for my graduation day. Thanks to all my lecturers and my Raffles colleges, who have always helped me on my way.

VAN THI LAN HUONG lanhuong@raffles-entrepreneur.com [65] 8170 3656 From the first impression, I was astonished by the enthusiasm and openness of lecturers and staff in Raffles. The environment, which is totally different from what I have experienced back in my country, inspired me to study. Rather than just having to concentrate on studying, we also have tons of fun, getting closer to each other, making new friends inside and outside the classes, with many events and shows that were held at Raffles. Studying at Raffles, I have brought value to myself by gaining knowledge and also life experiences.
