or overtake on blind corners but show patience and you will get there safely. If you need to be somewhere on time leave five minutes earlier. We find that if you overtake someone, you will soon catch up to another car, and another… be safe and drive with ease instead. Be a safe driver.

Also, a timely reminder that locals are not exempt from tickets. If you’re not wearing a seatbelt, using your cell phone whilst driving, speeding or drink driving, there will be the same consequence as for everyone else.

We would like to bring to your attention that a lot of our driving complaints and crashes are related to speed amongst other things (such as cell phone use and impairment). We will take every opportunity to educate those drivers whilst issuing infringement notices. It is everyone’s responsibility to make sure every driver makes it home to their loved ones. Newer breed of old soldier also faced life ‘on the edge’

They’re a new breed of old soldier – the “modern veterans” – who now make up a sizeable number of the marchers in Anzac Day commemorations, their work in war zones overseas often quite different to the horrendous battles waged by WWl and WWll vets.

But for locals Dan Grimshaw who served in Iraq in 2004 and Saen O’Brien who served on tours to Angola, East Timor and Cambodia for a decade ending in 2006, these were still significant and dangerous times marked by frequently living “on the edge”.

Saen, president of Raglan RSA and master of ceremonies again this year at the local Anzac Day service at the Bow St cenotaph, says the horrors of war can only make one appreciate New Zealand much more. “People here have no idea how lucky they are,” he told the Chronicle. “Our democracy, however flawed, is better than tyranny, facism or communism.”

While he was not fighting on the frontline, Saen’s work in logistics and demining was very dangerous. He was also involved in training the Timorese army, taking it from guerrilla to traditional or regular warfare which he admits was “quite exciting”.

10,000lb bombs and bullet debris from Cambodian dictator Pol Pot’s revolutionary regime back in the seventies.

It was all dangerous work given that landmines and booby traps were being deactivated amid a heavily armed population, and one with little respect for human life, Saen insists.

He recalls long periods of being hyped up and “living on your wits” from day to day. Getting back to garrison duties was very boring by comparison, he reckons.

By contrast, Dan’s work in a noncombat role as a carpenter in the Royal New Zealand Engineers was supposedly more of a humanitarian nature. But it had its dangerous moments too because it was known as a sensitive trip politically where Kiwi soldiers were sent in to carry out reconstruction tasks while having to provide their own security. The Government at the time did not want Kiwi troops seen as the aggressors.

“We were there to win hearts and minds,” Dan explains, and while secure enough within their camp at Fortress Lines in Basra they faced a hostile environment outside of it. The year-long mandate consisted of tasks such as rebuilding and maintaining a 67-bay floating pontoon Bailey bridge across the Shatt Al Arab River, restoring access to services after the previous bridge

Dan recalls the comradeship at camp but also the memories of getting mortared at night. “You’d hear the tubes fire and then wait for the bang, roll out of bed, grab a helmet and flak vest, wait for the last one and wait 10 minutes more; then have a roll call to make sure everyone was still alive.”

Dan – 25 at the time – was grateful to have had the opportunity to serve in this way, he says, despite the inherent risks. He trained for it at Linton Military Camp and regards being deployed to Iraq as “the pinnacle of my time in the army”.

He, like Saen, also now lives with his family in Te Mata, and both are proud members of Raglan’s Returned and Services Association.

While Saen was to be MC downtown at this week’s Anzac parade to “commemorate our service men and women overseas, especially those who gave their lives”, Dan was planning to march proudly alongside his comrades, about 30 of whom were staying over at his place to remember their time together two decades ago.

Dan describes those like him who have seen operational service since 1999 as modern or contemporary veterans.

The now 46 year old has an established and successful building business, The Reno Guys, based in Hamilton while Saen, now 63, worked as the Chief Instructor of the Trade Training School at Trentham

Vet reluctantly moving on from water’s-edge sanctuary

Longtime local vet Shane Massey reckons lounging in the spa pool with a beer at his water’s edge Raglan West home, and looking out across the estuary to the bar, is hard to beat.

He’ll miss the peace and quiet of his Nihinihi Ave property too, he says, but after 22 years there and now with some health issues Shane’s decided it’s time to move on.

So he’s reluctantly selling up – and with it, passing on a bit of history, some photos that only recently came his way when a previous occupant called by unexpectedly on a nostalgia trip and shared some memories of

it when it was a family bach back in the 40s and 50s.

That original bach has long gone, replaced by the old Hartstones’ fisheries office in Bankart St which was moved on site during the 1980s and transformed into a modest twobedroom home.

Shane’s 885 sq m section enjoys direct access to the water for swimming, boating and fishing.

He’s invested a lot of time and effort into the idyllic property, planting trees and crafting a series of stone steps down to a landing at the water’s edge where kayaks, paddleboards or a small boat can be launched.

33 Nihinihi Avenue, Raglan

The easy water access has been a winner, he says, with visitors able to paddle lazily up to Rock-it Kitchen for breakfast or coffee.

Shane’s particularly proud of the fish filleting area he’s created on one side of the house, adjacent to reserve land at the end of the peninsula. It has the best views up Pokohui estuary and out to the harbour, he says. “It’s a magic spot.”

He admits there’s a lot he’ll miss about the prime waterfront location – seeing paddlers drift by, kite surfers in the harbour, planes coming and going from the airfield and

sunsets out over the bar – but is resigned to the fact it’s time for someone else to enjoy his sanctuary.

He fell in love with Raglan nearly 30 years ago – “as soon as I crested the hill” – coming straight from university to his first job at the local vet clinic, where he’s been ever since.

Although forced to cut back hours recently for health reasons, and currently working just one day a week, Shane reckons he’s the only one of his year’s graduates to have remained at the same job for the entire three decades.

Unparalleled waterfront retreat - one of Raglan’s most coveted waterfront properties. Featuring two bedrooms, living area extends to a seaside deck. Stone steps lead to a landing to launch your kayak or paddleboard. Situated on a full-size section, a flat area to the side of the property is the perfect spot for a tiny home or sleepout with the services already in place.

Chats with Karen Holmes and Chris Aitchison from the Volunteer Raglan Fire Brigade

Our Volunteering in Whāingaroa series showcases volunteer-run groups in Raglan.

Q: What is the best thing about your work with the Raglan Fire Brigade / Fire Emergency New Zealand (FENZ)?

Chris: Being able to provide essential services and expertise to our community and visitors during times of crisis. The training allows our team to thrive in these situations and carry out whatever may be required. The team is tight, a family really, we all have each other's back.

Karen: Yes we have to trust each other.

Chris: It's such trust.

Karen: We are a big family, really big family, current and past firefighters, a global family. We have a close bond, the desire to give back to and help our community. If anyone in our community is in the unfortunate situation to need our help then that is what we do. Families of our members are also recognised. It’s our families that miss out on times, events etc where mum or dad has gone to help. I am 1 of 4 girls on our team and we undergo all the same training as our male colleagues; that’s Girl Power.

Q: Do you have a history with working in the emergency services?

Karen: My husband Kevin was in the Brigade from 1995 to 2019 and he was the Fire Chief 2007-2019. I joined in 2019 and I am now a Senior Firefighter. I came with experience from St John’s ambulance plus I am a registered Nurse.

Chris: I work for a medical device manufacturer so have many years of experience in the operating theatre and emergency department. To add, my employer has been fantastic in supporting my decision to volunteer. Living just a stone's throw away from the station for over a decade meant that every time I heard the siren I felt I should

get down there. As my children grew older, and with the support of my amazing wife, Sarah, the opportunity to join the service came about. But joining isn't just about the individual, it's the whole family. They're the ones who put up with our sudden departures, late-night calls, and worry about what we might be doing.

Karen: You need to know, “Is this for me? It is a big commitment as there is weekly training plus courses to attend as well as responding to emergency call outs.

Chris: The Fire Brigade is a massive investment. You can’t just, ‘turn up and volunteer,’ I’ve done my first year and the modules, bookwork and training…

Q: Where would you like to be in Five Years Time?

Karen: I would like to be Raglan’s first female Fire Chief! It would be an honour to continue the work of those Chiefs that have come before me.

Chris: Karen would be great, in 5 years I would like to be one of her Senior Firefighters.

Q: Anything else you would like to tell us about?

Karen: If we get exposed to traumatic incidents, we have psychological support available to us so we are well supported by Fire and Emergency NZ in that regard. For example when I first qualified it was a Friday night. The next day on Saturday night I had my first house fire. Nothing good comes out of a house fire. They are traumatic. Same goes for a serious car accident or a medical incident - we generally know the people and their families because we are a small town; as a Fire Brigade we learn to cope.

Thanks so much Karen, Chris, and to all of you and your team at The Raglan Volunteer Fire Brigade. I am at a loss for words and speaking with you has been truly one of those ‘goosebumps’ moments for me as a writer. On behalf of all of us, thank you for everything you do.

Update your shades with Raglan Curtains and Blinds

Meet Lucie from Raglan Curtains and Blinds. We caught up with her to hear about her business and hear what services she offers.

What services and products can you offer Raglan residents?

Raglan Curtains and Blinds is a locally operated business that has been present in Raglan for more than 8 years. We provide window treatment solutions in Raglan, Te Uku, Te Mata, but also further to Hamilton and Te Awamutu. We provide curtains, roller blinds, roman blinds, venetian blinds, cellular blinds, tracks and rods, and shutters.

We provide free quotes and measurements, and supply and install the products.

We also plan to develop the business further with another branch supplying “home linen” products from France. Lucie comes from northeast of France, historically famous for being the nest of many worldwide renowned brands such as “Garnier Thiebaut”, “Yves Delorme”, “Le Jacquard Francais”. The idea is to introduce some of those brands to New Zealand and give people direct access to their products for an affordable price.

Exciting blinds/curtain solutions. New looks?

Our curtains and blinds are hand made in NZ, from quality, long lasting fabrics, and parts. We offer a selection of more than 200 samples for customers to choose from here in Raglan, (plain, pattern, textured, coated, linings, natural fibres, light coastal look, warm velvet look, retro, contemporary, modern, classic…)

What is appealing about this type of business for people in Raglan?

Raglan Curtains and Blinds unites many strong points. The business has been built over years on strong values: quality, service, and honesty, laying a solid foundation for customer trust.

Being located and operated in Raglan, it is deeply rooted in the local community. This permits us to build long lasting relationships with our customers and understand their unique needs and preferences, allowing us to offer tailored recommendations and personalised assistance to every customer.

We see you as a customer, not a number. We spend the time and energy to deliver a tailored product to ensure our customer’s satisfaction. There is a real relationship and service provided. We can respond quickly to any inquiry without charging any travel fees.

Also, our goal is to have a business that provides a high standard of products. We believe this is vital for a local business. You can’t “not care” about the product you deliver. It has to be good.

Moreover, handling the process from measuring to installing implies that each project is carefully lead, ensuring attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, and a one-of-a-kind finish.

How do people get in touch

You can get in touch on the website through a contact form or by calling directly on the company’s phone number.

Register for RAW 2024

Calling all artists! There is less than a week left to register as a participating artist for the 2024 Raglan Arts Weekend (RAW) taking place over Labour Weekend in October.

Artists keen to take part need to head over to the RAW web site to register in the next couple of days. “Things are looking pretty exciting this year with 11 new artists already registered. We have some cool new media including textile sculpture, traditional tattoo and large scale murals, to add to our firm favourites who keep pulling out the stops year after year,” says Nicky Brzeska, RAW Coordinator.

RAW has steadily risen in popularity with art enthusiasts from New Zealand who come to meet the town’s talent and get a sneak peak into the creative process. At its heart is an open studio trail, where, armed with a brochure, visitors can self-navigate to studios of their choice, whilst getting to explore Whaingaroa.

Registration costs $206 and you will need to have a space to exhibit your artwork (contact Nicky for space suggestions if you are stuck). Emerging artists who may not want to ‘go it alone’ can apply to The Hatch for participation there. www.raglanartsweekend.nz

Dark Horse Comes from Behind to Nab Title

Redcliffs Pinot certainly knows when to pull out his best efforts.

With his rider Lena Hayes, Pinot only started show hunter in August and certainly wouldn’t have started as a favourite in his classes at the Land Rover Horse of the Year Show . . . but no-one told him that.

The 11-year-old, who is owned by Estelle and Nicola Laboyrie, had a sticky start on the opening day of his competitions but improved “dramatically” over the week to win the Junior Show Hunter of the Year title, nine points ahead of runners-up Madison Stuart and Lucky Leo.

“Everything just came together on those last two days,” says Lena. “He calmed down, got used to me, was just more comfortable in the ring and was definitely on point.”

It’s still sinking in. “It is just amazing really,” says the 20-year-old who is in her third year of a Bachelor of Teaching degree at Waikato Uni.

Pinot was a show jumper before Estelle bought him off a friend in 2022. It was she who thought he would make a good show hunter with his quiet manner, excellent jumping form and tidy knees. In 2023, Pinot was just doing

the odd hunt and a bit of farm trekking, so Lena was offered the ride in late June.

Lena has been doing show hunter since around 2016 and was on debut at LRHOY but Pinot has been before to compete as a showjumper.

“It took us a while to get into the ring for our first ring but he improved dramatically over the week and here we are.”

She was over the moon when they placed fifth in an early class and never dreamt the title would soon be in their truck as well. “We went into HOY with no expectation. The idea was just for us both to get some experience.”

She had contemplated – just for a moment – not entering and instead going to the Pink concert. “His owner convinced me otherwise, and I certainly have no regrets now.”

Lena, who is trained by Leigh Taylor, says Pinot is very sweet and is thriving on the people and attention. “He loves going out and doing stuff. I think he has found a lot of happiness in his life.”

Two weekends before LRHOY, the Raglan combination had won the rising star award at Woodhill Sands which proved to be a bit of a lightbulb moment for them both.

Golf Twilight Highlights

With regular sponsor Julie Hanna supporting the Summer Twilight Golf again it was bound to be a huge success.

Pitch in an organised committee, excellent numbers, Kaiwaka Food truck, and a dash of fine weather and you have a formula for some fun golf. With lots of variety in each Thursday’s competition, the golf skills required to master the 9 holes was challenging!

"Twilight Golf is fun and team based. Many of the competitors are non golfers who play with mates with the emphasis on relaxation and winding down at the end of a working week," quipped organiser Mike Goodison.

The Raglan Golf Club thanks all of the participants who supported Twilight Golf 2023-24!

See you all in November. outa bounds...Pete Aim

Now Lena is looking forward to doing a little hunting over the winter with her eyes on an even bigger show hunter season next year.

Myrle Robertson Shootout

Like in the Westerns of old as the two gnarly gunslingers eye balled each other with guns at the ready for the final SHOOTOUT, Pete Aim and Charlie Young gripped their golf clubs ready for the final hit out on the 18 tenth green!

Two shots rang out and when the divots had cleared, Charlie was the winner!!

The field for the Myrle Robertson started with 16 club wielding players all bent on being the last man or woman standing, and

winning the prestigious Myrle Robertson Trophy. At each hole a player was dropped out of contention having had the worst gross score or losing in a playoff! The field after 14 holes came down to two players!

With a BBQ to follow the tournament and lots of (what if) banter this annual competition in memory of Myrle was held in great spirit.

Myrle was a club stalwart for many years, dedicating her time and administrative skills to the Raglan Golf Club.

Thanks Myrle. off the tee.....Pete Aim.

Baking it better with attitude and heart

Good Bitches Baking aims to spread kindness throughout our community by offering a sweet moment to those facing challenges.

Anyone can embody the spirit of a Good Bitch; it's an inclusive term that celebrates anyone willing to lend a hand and make a difference. You don't need to be a baking expert; what truly counts is your kindness and willingness to contribute.

We chat with Anouska Sweetman, coordinator of the Raglan subchapter.

What is GBB about and why was it set up?

Good Bitches Baking (GBB) is a network of volunteers across Aotearoa spreading kindness through the mechanism of baking. It was founded in 2014 by Nic Murray and Marie Fitzpatrick, with our Hamilton chapter starting in 2015.

In 2023, our Head Bitch, Fleur Cook, expanded our Hamilton chapter with subchapters in Cambridge, Morrinsville, Te Awamutu, Matamata, and then, our Raglan chapter sharing their first box of kindness in March 2024. Our Hamilton chapter has over 300 volunteers who give 80 boxes a week to over 60 Waikato recipients.

A Good Bitch is an inclusive term for a person that supports us with a passion for baking and spreading kindness in the community.

I discovered GBB through a sponsored ad and I was immediately drawn to it’s kaupapa. The women in my family love to bake and and I have always shared kai with family, friends and neighbours; so I contacted GBB through their website and was linked to Fleur who I worked with to get our subchapter running in Raglan.

We are fortunate to have local GB’s who were actively participating in spreading their kindness in Hamilton, so it was a very smooth start for Raglan.

What is my role?

My role is the Raglan subchapter Local Support Good Bitch, being the eyes and the ears in the local community distributing boxes, flyers and providing support to local GB’s and local recipients.

How is the Raglan Subchapter going to work?

Local GB’s set their preferences for baking and are rostered accordingly. When its our time to spread kindness, we bake and deliver boxes of home made delights to our recipient organisations.

What support is needed from local bakers?

We have hit the ground running but are in need of more bakers willing to support our local community and the GBB kaupapa. You don’t have to be an amazing baker as it’s the intention that goes into the act of kindness where the magic is felt by both

giver and the receiver. More bakers will allow us to expand our recipient list. We need to balance supply and demand.

How do people get in touch?

Simply head to our volunteer page on the website and register your interest (link below). Please ensure you select the Hamilton Chapter. From there Fleur can assign you to our Raglan subchapter.

https://gbb.org.nz/baking-it-better/volunteer/

Together, we can make a meaningful impact on our community by sharing kindness through homemade treats.

Dear editor

The best place in town. Not only for books of the shelf but from around the Waikato, or from futher afield for the price of seven dolars the library will get special requests from Wellington.

They also have a jigsaw for those addicted while also running special events for children, as in,seek and find. I also experienced a flax weaving event some weeks back and had a small article to bring home to show off.

The staff are delightful, obliging and so warming to new arrivals and get to know who reads what. So many thanks to all those who serve this town.

My family & I are profoundly moved to read in your paper the schedule of events for ANZAC Day; the remembrance ceremony to be held at the Cenotaph.

Together with the people of Raglan Whaingaroa, my family & I remember the ANZAC soldiers; we shed a tear as we recall the ultimate contribution they made; we whisper a prayer in our hearts as we reminisce.

We remember them... our sons, our fathers, our neighbors who sacrificed their lives so that today we may live free.

My family & I remember these courageous souls who today lie buried in the land of Palestine - interned in the ancient land called Gaza; interned in a cemetary 10 thousand miles away.

And that cemetary is a gift - a piece of land that is a gift to the ANZAC soldiers, a gift from the people of Gaza Palestine; indeed, a gift to the people of New Zealand Aotearoa.

We remember our sons & fathers who are buried in that cemetary, and we shed a tear - 32 soldiers from NewZealand Aotearoa buried in Palestine.

The Palestinian people of Gaza have lovingly tended this cemetary; the people have mowed the lawn, watered the graves; planted flowers on the graves... for over a hundred years.

A gift of land from the people of Palestine to ANZAC. Despite the evil forces bombing this cemetary, desecrating the graves, the people of Gaza pray for the souls of men, buried among themselves, 10 thousand miles away from home.

And as the people of Gaza water the flowers on the graves of our men, we say a prayer, we shed a tear.

And today we share the suffering of the people of Gaza Palestine. We are profoundly moved by their gift - a piece of land, a piece of Gaza.

We will remember, always, the brave 32... men from New Zealand Aotearoa, buried in Gaza Palestine.

My family & I pray that the ANZAC Day ceremony at the Cenetaph will remember the 32, and remember the ANZAC Cemetary in Gaza Palestine.

The gift of Palestine... remember, Lest We Forget.

Raglan Junior Rugby season kicking off

Our 2024 junior rugby season is kicking off and our little legends are rip-roaring and ready to go. Our club goals for this year are all about team bonding, respect for self, club and team, and most importantly… FUN.

Our first games start on the 11th May. We always welcome support and our little rugby legends thrive on the cheers. Our Raglan Junior Rugby Facebook page keeps everyone in the loop, and club days at home offer sausage sizzles and raffles, in an effort to get more training gear for our kids.

Our incredible committee, managers and coaches have been working their bottoms off to get all the boxes ticked and this season cracking along. It's an incredibly selfless act to volunteer and sponsor, and we are so lucky to have a club packed full of genuinely great people and kids.

Our weigh-ins are all done and dusted and we have managed to make 7 teams this season. We have two 11th grade teams this year, and we are still on the

hunt for some more 11th grade legends to boost those numbers up abit (10 & 11yr olds), so if you know anyone who may be interested, please send them our way.

It filled our buckets seeing all our kiddos rocking up super excited with big grins to our first get together. Thanks to Rory O'brien and Edward & Wendy Hayes for donating sausages for the players. The awesome coaches and mangers will be representing us in their warm jackets, thanks to our amazing friends at Harbour view hotel and the top notch team at Waikato Hunting and Fishing Te Rapa.

Raglan Jr Rugby would also like to thank the whole community for your ongoing support and passion, providing positive experiences for all our junior players. We are also a club that would like to acknowledge and show our appreciation to our ‘Rugby club roots’, it has been the people before us that have kept our club thriving. Our kids get to play for a club with such a rich ancestry, and we are locked, loaded and ready to get the ball rolling for this season!

The Eketahuna Kid show

Songs that tell the story of my first forty years. “I have devoted the past forty years to locating, researching, learning, recording, promoting and performing the folk and popular songs of New Zealand.

In the course of my solo, acoustic presentations around the country and overseas I have found songs that resonate with my own background; growing up in a small town, getting an education, becoming an educator and eventually discovering a musical path as a frequently peripatetic folk-singer.

In ‘The Eketahuna Kid’ I intend to share these songs and by telling something of my own story hope my audience will find people, places, history, situations and aspirations we all have in common as Kiwis.”

Thank you to our EnviroMatters sponsor:

The 2024 theme “Nature’s Climate Champion” highlights the role compost plays in fighting climate change Those roles include:

Decreasing methane: Methane, a greenhouse gas twenty-five times as powerful as carbon dioxide, can be significantly reduced through the recycling of organics instead of their being landfilled

Helping with climate change mitigation: Compost offers a significant answer to climate change mitigation Compost’s return to the soil serves as a “carbon bank, ” helping to store carbon and thereby remove it from the atmosphere Reducing synthetic fertilizer inputs reduces the pollution created in their manufacture

Increasing resilience: Compost helps to increase resilience to the effects of climate change such as drought and extreme weather

Can we eat compost?

No, compost isn’t the next breakfast staple or superfood

But composting our organics can save us loads of money and nourish our soils and food!

5 acre compact farmlet

It is rare to find a compact farmlet with as much on offer as 397 Ruapuke Road. For starters, the modern 2-bedroom home lies well for the morning sun and is tucked away from the prevailing westerly wind. The home is warm with double-glazed joinery throughout, a wood burner is on-hand to heat the spacious open plan Lounge, Dining and Kitchen quickly and the rest of the home with ease. The home is in tip top condition with plenty of internal storage, a separate laundry and 2 toilets. All of this comes complete with a garage/ shed/ workshop that could easily house the boat and other 'stuff'.

Light and space

Designed by well-known Waikato architectural firm, Architecture Bureau, this remarkable property reflects the original vision of its owners. The vision was twofold: firstly, to create a serene and inviting two-bedroom holiday retreat for themselves, with an additional two-bedroom guest area versatile enough to accommodate both extended family and short-term guests. Secondly, they aimed to craft a home that would seamlessly embrace the breathtaking views of Raglan Harbour, the Rangitahi peninsula, and the majestic Sleeping Lady, Whaingaroa, Raglans very own Mt. Karioi.

Best view of the Bridal Veil Falls, hands down.

The Newton Homestead was originally positioned in the very best location to capture the very best views of the Waireinga, Bridal Veil Falls and her surrounding reserve and to this day she arguably still retains this honour. Of lesser and more common views this area offers, the Homestead provides generous vistas out towards, Aotea, Kawhia and onwards to Albatross Point as well as the ever changing and somewhat moody Mt Karioi. The homestead was built in an era of practicality when timber was cheap and 'big bones' were the norm, with separate Kitchen/ Dining, a ginormous Lounge and 4 bedrooms.

A bargain, asking less than cost

This rare lifestyle opportunity is immaculately presented and brand new, so new in fact that we are expecting the final Code Compliance Certificate to be issued any day now! The 1.2 hectare (2.9 old fashioned acre) section is gently rolling with sweeping rural views, partly comprising 'the sleeping lady' that is Mt Karioi. With a little fencing there is the opportunity to have your own pony and/or grazing animals or alternatively just continue with the landscaping and develop more gardens. The bright and airy 158m2 home consists of a generous open plan living and kitchen space, 3 bedrooms.
