EVENING E ATS RAGLAN SUMMER MARKETS
T It’s been an amazing start to the season with October and November markets bringing a great crowd down to the Rugby Club for picnic style dinners as the sun goes down. We’ve been spoilt by the trucks and lucky to have some talented musicians join us too. We are looking forward to the warmer evenings now that Summer
This is our second summer of the Evening Eats markets. It all started by us emailing and calling trucks persuading them to come to Raglan
earlier with the trucks serving from
the Rugby Sports Club community
and the parents can enjoy themselves
the crew that help us set up and pack down each market - we couldn’t do it without you.
All of the crowd favourites are joining us for the rest of the season. Hawaiian poke bowls and buddha style bowls, bao buns, thai dishes, seafood, falafel, tacos, ice cream and more. There are always vegetarian, market too so everyone can enjoy something. Follow us on Instagram market - @raglansummermarkets.

Sale scores $10,000 windfall for local conservation group local conservation group are super stoked that the sale of a Raglan lifestyle A property will help them keep fighting the good fight.
This week Mark Frost of Bayleys Real Estate busted out his formal jandals and handed the team from Karioi Project a $10,000 cheque on the front lawn of the Maungatawhiri Road property. Established in 2009, the Karioi Project aims to inspire locals to take a stand for nature and protect the places we love through predator control and sea bird monitoring. So far, its efforts have seen more than 10,600 predators removed and more than 170 households now run predator control programmes on their own properties as part of a backyard trapping programme. Project manager Kristel van Houte says Mark’s significant donation will support local people in “vitally important” biodiversity and educational roles.
“I would like to thank the awesome vendors who agreed to be part of the process, and congratulate them on the successful sale,” he says. “I’d also like to wish them well on their new journey, and welcome the new owners to the community.” To do your bit to support this awesome local initiative check out The Karioi Project on social media. If you are thinking of selling your home and want honest expert advice on its value and the best way to market it to get the best result, call Mark for a no obligation free property appraisal. Also check out his Bayleys profile page to see some amazing local results.
Mark says when he first listed the lifestyle property he made an undertaking to donate $10,000 of his commission from the sale to the conservation group. He has lived locally for several years and wanted to use his real estate skills to support a local cause he’s passionate about. Earlier this week he was thrilled to be able to deliver on that promise. SUCCESS REALTY LTD, BAYLEYS HAMILTON LICENSED UNDER THE REA ACT 2008

us, all genres will be served! Every week is a unique sound discovery!
Live DJs, MCs, Bands and producers from all over the world have performed here over the last 10 years. For obvious reasons, this year will see
the sunshine and catch up with friends. As natural progression, when the sun makes place for the moon to rise, so does the music evolves into a party like atmosphere. The Sessions are known for their contagious
array of special guests from all over the country! “when life throws you lemons.. make lemonade!” As a result is born the new “Vinyl Culture Club” 7.30pm. This is the opportunity for record selectors to tell their story through music and select their favourite pieces of vinyl for your own discovery and enjoyment.
without joining in for a boogie in the sun! Free entry and open to all ages (accompanied by parents) between 5pm and 7pm (Excludes a few special events with special door charge).
Music Music Soundsplash is passionate about Music. We strive for a mixture of multi genre International and local acts while supporting newcomers and underground artists. The four different stages: Summerhaze, Roots and Outsides all pump with different kinds of action during the festival. The Freedom stage you can chill and get inspired by thought provoking speakers and inspiring creatives as well as up-and-coming musicians. You can also catch leaders who have been making waves in their community with their innovative thinking present their ideas in the Blue Zone.
weWe love lovethe theenvironment environment
We all love the environment right? Together we can be mindful of our eco-footprint and what we bring and leave behind at Soundsplash. The aftermath that’s left behind at our festivals can be a real buzz kill! Let’s think about how we can be smarter about the way we treat the planet and the resources left on it. We’ve got some super easy ways to jump on-board like bringing reusable bottles, containers and bags. Make sure you bring a good-quality tent too! (Mother Earth), through our actions and choices we can create a green and sustainable culture.

Our core values are about manaakitanga (kindness, respect, caring) and tautoko (support). We want you to have fun but we’re also committed to making sure that there’s an awesome vibe at the festival. If you ever need help, please visit our Wellbeing Space in the Blue Zone. Emergency medics and Deep Space will be located in the Wellbeing Space. Our roaming Wellbeing Team and Consent Club volunteers will be offering help throughout the venue and camp grounds to make sure that you have the best Soundsplash experience.
