With this clear aim in mind, One Disease has implemented innovative and culturally respectful treatment programs within Indigenous communities. One Disease believes that no Australian should die from preventable disease, and is building strong partnerships with Indigenous Australians to reduce the statistic of 7 in 10 children in remote Indigenous communities having been affected by scabies before their first birthday. One Disease is eliminating diseases from Indigenous communities - one disease at a time. 1disease.org The Remote Area Health Corps (RAHC) was established in 2008 and is now part of the Stronger Futures in the Northern Territory through Health initiative.
