The team ended their competition with the bench press event.

The girls’ strong bond helped them grow within the sport.

The girls on the weightlifting team formed close and lifelong bonds since joining this season. Out of the 13 members of the team, only two had returned. The girls helped each other grow inside and out of the weight room, motivating one another to reach their goals. The girls had various team dinners and established a holiday gift exchange. “We are all there for each other, and I think that as a team, we have grown really close as friends and teammates,” sophomore Olivia Anzai Takahashi said.
