With everyone back in the city from their holidays, refreshed and rejuvenated, The Claridges Hotel Group unfurls a slew of new facilities for guests this season. Dhaba, the signature North Indian restaurant at The Claridges, New Delhi is opening in the first week of July at The Claridges, Surajkund, Delhi, NCR. This will be followed by The Claridges Spa, in early August. The luxurious spa spread over 15,500 sq ft with 10 treatment rooms, spa suite, salon, state-of-the-art gymnasium and international therapists promises an unparalleled experience. At The Claridges, New Delhi, Sevilla, the multiple award winning Mediterranean restaurant will open with a fresh new look soon. Our boutique hotel up in the hills, The Claridges Nabha Residence, Mussoorie is scheduled to go for renovation at the end of the year. Work on mock up room is in progress currently. BEER & BALTI CUISINE July The month of July is dedicated to the Balti cuisine which originated from the Northern Pakistan region of Baltistan. The Balti people were nomads who developed a cooking technique that was simple and involved just one small pot, commonly known as Balti. Here at Dhaba we bring a few specialties of this cuisine served in the contemporary miniature 'balti' accompanied by Daal Dhaba, Indian breads and chilled beer.
DHABA TRUCK GOES COASTAL August Come August and the Dhaba truck goes to the western coast of India. The chef and the Dhaba Manager are on a southern sojourn in search of some rich coastal food, stopping by the popular eateries and picking up traditional recipes. The duo will be travelling from south of Gujarat to Mumbai and Goa, with the journey culminating at Mangalore. The menu will feature dishes like pomfret reachado, crab peri peri, mutton kolhapuri, & prawns kohliwada.
