Rakkasan EnterpriseZ Welcome to Sin Magazine 702! This is the first issue, an introduction to Rakkasan Enterprisez. Sin Magazine was created to promote my photography, local artists, tuners or import cars and to showcase the classy ladies that inhabit Sin City with us. The magazine will be produced seasonally and may have up to 6 issues a year, so please read on. Rakkasan EnterpriseZ was initially founded in 2006. Originally it was for my ink and paintings. Later I stumbled into photography and began honing my skills. I currently shoot photos ranging from glamour photography to Landscapes and underwater nature. Thanks for taking the time to look at my photography . If you need to contact me I am always available on my social networks. I try to answer any and every question in a timely manner. Contact info is provided on the page preceding this

Gus Skrelich entered the music realm in the end of 2010 and is slowly climbing his way up in the local EDM scene. Gus is one of Las Vegas' newest and upcoming djs. He quickly gained popularity by playing local hookah lounges and private parties. Later he would go to play LAX night club in the Luxor. I first met Gus at a hookah lounge in Henderson. The ladies and my friends were having fun and I found myself liking Electric Dance Music for the first time. Gus became a lot more common in my photography career and I began going to all his shows.

22

Gusdamnit exploded onto the scene. In the Las Vegas scene DJs have always been a important part to the club environment. Gus explained his name came from his father yelling at him when he was younger, ” gusdamnit! ” . This tied in to his dj career as his friends would scream ” Gusdamnit! ” whenever he would play a new banger. Since then he kept it and started using it as his stage name. ( c ont. on next page )

23

Gus, like most DJ ’ s, is confident in his music. He also has a fanboy side as well; idolizing Kaskade and Laidback Luke as major influences in his music. Gusdamnit would eventually like to play Electric Daisy Carnival or any another massive in front of large

crowds of 200,000 plus. Gus explained his real goal is for everyone to have fun and a good time. If you would like to hear ” Gusdamnit! ” play I invite you to check out his Facebook and soundcloud. You can commonly find him spinning at the Rumor hotel's events and at Oracle mansion.

The first issue of Sin 702 features a Mitsubishi Lancer Evoution, more commonly called an EVO. It is owned by Alex Langjahr. I was pleased to feature such a nice vehicle and here is the story behind it: “ T he thing I love most about this car is the amount of looks I get, no matter if I'm on the highway, driving down a back street or its just parked. ” opens Alex. “ Someone will always say something about it. I guess the ‘ R ally Red ’ really is appealing to people and they just always have 26

something nice to say about it. Makes me feel like I've done good with my EVO. ” “ I ts comfortable to drive and when I want the push, the EVO definitely delivers. Not a big fan of the Gas Mileage, though. There's always a catch, especially when you run E85. It gives you more power, but it’ s coupled with an increased fuel burn rate, therefore less gas mileage. A small price to pay, but still not something I ’ m too fond of. ” “ I bought this car for $19,000 with 50k Miles on it and majority of the suspension parts already installed. The entire engine was left untouched. I knew this guy was going to make it a track car but couldn't commit. Turns out this beauty was just being used as a mild daily and a garage guard. I purchased my new found baby ( c ont. on next page )

from the Inland Empire California ( e ast LA ) . “ “ F unny thing is this is the first manual car I've owned . Needless to say the stock clutch went out fast! I had to learn somehow, at least I get to say I learned in an evo ! ” “ I 've owned this car for 3 years now and coming from a Scion tC was a major upgrade. I recommend AWD to anyone. Once you start you'll never want anything else, that is of course if you like getting sideways. I will soon be installing a 25psi WGA ( Wastegate Actuator ) , RC 1200cc fuel injectors, and will crush my 9 Recirc BOV. I haven't decided yet on which BOV to get as I plan on upgrading my turbo in the near future. For now I’ l l just crush my 9 BOV to hold more pressure! Thanks to Terrible Thomas for tuning my car and helping me install all these badass parts. ”

Survive This! is Las Vegas' new and upcoming metal-rock band. The band is produced by Ronnie Radke, the lead singer of Falling in Reverse. Survive This! has released their first single, titled The Life That You've Chosen . In the summer of 2009 the band was formed by Daniel, a Drummer, and AJ, a guitarist. They played shows and suffered like all of our local bands. Eventually they met Shawn and Barry from The Murder Ballot. They collaborated and wrote their first single now ready to be released. The band now consists of: Shawn on lead vocals, Daniel on guitar with backup vocals, Barry on bass, AJ on guitar and Billy on drums. 44

I recently had the privilege of interviewing Shawn and Daniel. We went for a walk in the Fremont District of downtown Las Vegas while we laughed and discussed the upcoming album. Shawn explained to me that they will be recording a full length in December. They were both

extremely excited about the coming year. At the moment they were in the middle of a writing phase getting ready for their albums release. They ’ re anticipating a release of this work in 2013. Growing up in the screamo era, I was accustomed to seeing unusual band names. So I asked Daniel why the band was named ” Survive This! ” . He explained they were sitting

together deciding on names and he loves survival shows. A cartoon had came on at that moment called 'Survive This' and they decided to go with it. I decided to aim for the neck, putting the singers on the spot and asking them directly what they believed their genre to be. The consensus was rock , finally after a slough of gimmicky names like “ post-hardcore, scrub-a-dub-dub core, breakdown-core . I ’ m glad they came to their senses. They are a catchy hardcore band infused with pop and metal. Survive This! is a band to be dealt with in 2013. Be sure to look for the New Album and to check out the band on twitter, Facebook and soundcloud.
