Countdown to Kindergarten Join us at your local Harper Creek Elementary School for our free Countdown to Kindergarten program. It is designed for children who are eligible to attend Kindergarten in the fall of 2013. To be eligible, children must be 5 years old on or before October 1, 2014. Parents and their pre-kindergarten child are invited to attend these monthly one hour meetings. Each meeting includes an activity for the children and a book to take home. Parents will receive information about how to prepare their child to have a successful kindergarten experience. This program also allows children to become familiar with the school and meet future classmates, teachers, and the principal. We hope to see you…in fact, we’re counting on it!!!
