Dream Beyond Language Profile of EP: Must have teaching experience Must be open-minded and work well with kids
Description of Program: Despite the fact that Taiwan offers many international resources, many Taiwanese youth have a narrow view of the world due to educational and cultural gaps. With the right proactive person, this program will help encourage Taiwanese youth to see different perspectives of the world and accompany them as they progress through the positive change. EPs will help fulfill this project by working with children at a young age, caring for them, accompanying them, and sharing knowledge about the world with them so they feel inspired and motivated to learn about cultural differences. Furthermore, by encouraging Taiwanese youth to understand cultures beyond their own, they can also share interest in speaking in English. Within Beyond Language, there are two types of programs: Embrace Every Moment (1) Program Features: Execute your own lessons and plan to make children understand your culture The JD (what you will do): Discuss your project goal with AIESECers in Taiwan Set up and execute your plan according to your goals Record your life in Taiwan What Will You Get (Learning Values/Experiences) Planning skills, presentation skills, session designing and facilitating experience, Quick adjustment to a different culture EP Profile (Who We are looking for) People with passion to interact with children Prefer people with skills in designing and delivering sessions Program Realizations Nov/Dec/Mar/April/May
