The Wall Specialties : Conceptual Medium : Digital models
Objective : This project examined the meaning of the word “wall. Using Roman Bricks as modules, different operations were used in an attempt to alter, challenge and design the traditional brick wall. The operations used here include pushing/pulling, and shifting to create voids. All the operations were extremely gradual resulting in a curvilinear outline of the wall. It starts very subtle at first with minimal shifts and then that activity is gradually increased towards the end.

The Bike Shop Specialties : Commercial design Medium : Digital models
Objective : “Freewheeling is a project that RTA is testing in order to introduce biking as a mean of transportation in Dubai. This program is dedicated to provide a bicycle repair shop at one of the main metro stations. The main intent of the store is to offers a place for bike fixing stands, retail space, and a cafe for those waiting for a service. The site of this project is located at the Burjuman Metro Station in Dubai. The store is located to the left of the escalators near one of the exits and sitting area near the tenant space is addressed as part of the design prompt
Concept: I worked with a certain grid and fixed dimensions that was later divided into diagonal lines. After many iterations an isosceles triangular shape appeared. Further on, I used this module to create the center point of attention in my project, which is the display wall. Different dimensions of shelves were created by the process of tilting the modules into fixed angle in order to achieve the purpose. The metallic modules also folds to create a small cabinet that works as a storage place.
