W-Two Worlds DIRECTOR W-To Worlds is a 2016 South Korean television series, starring Lee Jong-suk and Han Hyo-joo. Consisting of 16 episodes, it aired on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 22:00 (KST) on MBC from July 20 to September 14, 2016. W centers on the clash between “two worlds”: the real world and an alternate universe inside a webtoon, from which the title of the television series was taken.
The series received praise for its unique premise and ranked first in the Content Power Index in its premiere week. It achieved modest ratings of 11.63%, topping viewership ratings in its time slot for its entire run.

It aired from August 28 to October 17, 2021, on tvN's Saturdays and Sundays at 21:00 (KST) time slot. It is also available internationally for streaming on Netflix. The series was a commercial hit and became one of the highest-rated series on cable television history. It ranked first place during its entire run for eight weeks, and the last episode achieved 12.665% nationwide rating, with over 3.2 million views. It also became one of Netflix's mostwatched non-English television shows, and one of its longest-running hits as it spent 16 weeks in the global top ten rankings.

The series resonated with the young demographic; although it averaged 4.6% in audience share and received the lowest viewership ratings in its time slot throughout its run, it gained a cult following amongst young viewers and received mostly favorable reviews. The series also received popularity overseas, particularly in the Philippines.
