DOME HOME is a compact portable housing device that guarantees shelter and good living conditions in any natural environment, with the capacity to comfortably accommodate 6 people. This temporary housing was designed to adapt to all types of geographical and climatic conditions, becoming a very useful tool in situations of natural disasters and other emergency conditions .. It supplies itself with alternative energy and has in its interior a reserve of drinking water, a small box of basic tools and a first aid kit. Its assembly is quick and can be done in just a few minutes by two people. It can be inhabited partially or completely unfolded, which makes it very versatile for each type of use and situation. Once fully deployed, it can be paired with another equally stretched module, to form a safer and more solid morphological unit that optimizes its structural, thermal and energetic efficiency. 10 |

With the intention of revitalizing the peripheral city of Baziege, located in the metropolitan area of Toulouse, France, it was proposed by means of a joint plan to emphasize the agricultural production of the place, as well as to reinforce its economy by creating spaces for the treatment of these raw materials. At the same time, to improve the daily traffic of people, a mobility and urban interconnection plan was implemented through a tram. Its condition as a dormitory city led us to reflect on methods that, on the one hand, rooted the inhabitants, as well as strengthening leisure tourism in the city. For this purpose, a series of buildings of symbolic-cultural value were proposed, and others wich serve as support for those functions. Among them is the current proposal, a hotel-spa-restaurant, that caters to these functions while closes the productive chain of the city.

It’s proposed to reform a Library contained in a patrimonial building located on a small gully of the Paraná River. The aim is to generate a point of interest and in it a landmark that revilatizes the area. “See to read” From this metaphor the concept of Torre-Mirador is born, taking the idea of a light house as a guide for peoples paths. At the implantation level, an objectual proposal is made, that is, the library as the only element developed in height, visually appropriating the environment since there is no place in the public domain that allows a panoramic view of this landscape. Thus, different perspectives of the city are obtained, through its different levels, whether directed towards the river, the park and the skyline. The result is a strong formal proposal as a lantern that captures the curiosity and the interest of the public. 52 |
