A LOOK AT 2018 NFL KICKOFF WEEKEND ROSTERS; ALABAMA LED ALL COLLEGES WITH 44 NFL PLAYERS SEC COUNTRY: Alabama had the most players on NFL Kickoff 2018 active rosters with 44, the NFL announced today. LSU, who ranked second in 2018 with 40 players on Week 1 rosters, tied for first with Alabama in 2017 with 39 players on Kickoff Weekend rosters and had previously ranked first in 2016 (42 players), 2015 (40) and 2014 (38). The New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers each have 13 players weighing less than 200 pounds, the most in that category.
