ITINERARY Day 1 | Arrival to El Calafate You will arrive in an ealry flight and will be taken to your hotel in El Calafate. Day at leisure to shop and explore on your own Hotel in El Calafate Day 2 | Perito Moreno Excursion Early in the morning you will take an excursion to one of the most famous geological sights in the world. At the far end of the lake, 75 km from El Calafate. Which is also protected by the Worlds Biosphere Reserve from the United Nations Education and Culture ( Unesco) this glacier is one of the few that are stable with seasonal fluctuations. Every so often it is possible to see huge lumps of ice break off and fall into the lake to float away as ice bergs. You will return late afternoon. Our guide will lead the group for two hours in the ice. During this unique experience you will be taught and shown many glacier features like crevasses and moulins. From Eco camp you will be taken to Hosteria El Pilar were you will start your trek to Thorwood camp. You will continue up to Laguna de los tres, this last stretch that will take you about an hour is a bit strenouse since you have to walk on a trails with stones but once you arrive to the summit it is all rewarded! since you will not believe your eyes. After resting a bit and taking some pictures we will retiunr back to camp B, BL, D , Thorwood camp, guide Day 6| Torre Lake viewpoint- return to El Chalten You will make an early start in order to have breakfast and enjoy your last day in El Chalten. ITINERARY Day 1 | Arrival to El ChaltÊn On arrival in El ChaltÊn trekkers will be met by a representative of Fitz Roy Expeditions and transferred to our Adventure Camp set on the banks of Rio De Las Vueltas north of town. There are great views of Monte Fitz Roy’s north face from camp. There will be a trip briefing before dinner to explain the adventures that await us in the days ahead. This can be done by a guide or a staff memeber. Dinner and overnight at Adventure Camp. D‌Eco camp Day 2 | Fitz Roy Adventure Eco Camp A menu of options to choose from or time at leisure to relax by the fire place. - Mountain Bike (guided or independent biking): The road has little traffic and it a good chance to go all the way to the beautifully set Lago del DesiertoHiking: There is a magnificent hike up the Loma del Diablo, making it to the ridge or all the way to the summit (1800 mts), the climb to the summit can only be done if the guide decides to do it according to p resent conditions. - Canoeing. River guides and the adequate equipment are available to explore a couple of kilometres of Rio d las Vueltas, and luckily do so with Mt. Fitz Roy in the skyline. B...BL, D‌ Eco camp ‌ Mountain and river Guide Day 3 | Fitz Roy Base Camp – Cerro Torre Base Camp After breakfast a short drive brings us to the trailhead. We ascend gradually all morning along the Rio Blanco to the base camp of the same name.We ascend more steeply to Laguna De Los Tres where we will have close-up views of several of the routes used to climb Fitz Roy, weather permitting. This afternoon’s walk is mostly downhill, with some sections of flat trail, through the valley of Lagunas Madre e Hija, to

Mountain Guide Day 4 | Loma del Pliegue Tumbado This will be a wonderful day since we will be able to visit the most stunning sites and observe the beautiful Mt. Torre and Fitz Roy along with its valleys and rivers. During the trek the vegetation will change and we will be able to see areas of woods and vegetation as well as peeks of the mountains and its glaciers. B...BL, D ‌Camping ...Mountain Guide Day 5 | Laguna Toro After breakfast we again cross the river by Tyrolean traverse and begin the long ascent to Paso De Las Agachonas. As we go higher, the views of the surrounding peaks get ever more dramatic. Once across the pass we descend into the Rio Tunel Valley, with occasional views of tomorrow’s destination, El Paso Del Viento, Windy Pass. Upon reaching Rio Tunel, we follow it west to our camp just below Laguna Toro. This will be our camp for two nights, nicely protected in a small beech grove near tree line. B,...BL, D ‌Camping ... Mountain Guide Day 6 | Paso del viento – Patagonian Ice Cap viewpoint After bordering the lagoon and across the Rio Toro Tunnel, we begin the journey towards the Windward Passage, a gateway to Southern Ice. During the ascent of the 900 meter drop and swivel cross a glacier high. The splendid views all the way will be crowned by a fabulous panoramic view of the Southern Ice. Is like a great island surrounded by glaciers that come from Cerro Grande forming Tunel Rio on the north and Glacier Viedma on the south. The peak is seen from a distance once you approach El Chalten. Their walls and glaciers give the wrong idea of being difficult to reach, but it is a peak that has a normal route of ascent and has not major technical difficulties to climb. This makes Cerro Huemul the only mountain of the area accessible for those who have not mountaineering experiencie, but are in good shape and want to achieve their first summit in the region. ITINERARY Day 1 | El Chalten - Camp Lake Toro During the morning, general briefing about the trip and personal equipment check (if possible, this is made the day before) We start the trek from El ChaltÊn gently climbing Loma Del Pliegue Tumbado, with panoramic views of Fitz Roy, Cerro Torre, and Lake Viedma. From there, we follow Túnel River valley until getting to Camp Toro, near Lake Toro. Laguna Toro: 550m over sea level. We will then walk along the south shore and cross the river’s mouth, and after wading Kolliquer’s stream that comes down from Cerro Huemul we will start the first half of the ascent. A steep slope over a firm rocky terrain and high andean prairies will lead us to Piedra Partida Vivaque, a natural vivaque located 1600m over sea level. Day 1 El Calafate airport - El Calafate We welcome you at Calafate airport and transfer to town to check in at your hostel. You get the rest of the day to enjoy the town and later you have your welcome dinner. Lodging in a Hostel double or triple room with private bathroom. Meals we provide: Dinner. Day 2 El Calafate – Torres del Paine Early start for a 6 hs drive to our camp in Paine. We drive across the steppe, still following by parts the legendary route 40, to get around Sierra de los Baguales, an impressive range in between Calafate and Paine. We cross the Argentinean Chilean border at Cancha Carrera/ Cerro Castillo. After the border crossing, we start our final sprint to Paine National Park, World Heritage by the UNESCO (United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization). Approaching the Park, we start to see the different mountains that feature the area: Paine Grande, the Horns, Admiral Nieto and the Towers. We enter the Park by Porteria Laguna Amarga. A rich wildlife: guanacos, lesser rheas, condors and all types of wetland and buzzard birds, will be available for our eyes and cameras. Lodging in Full Camp at Las Torres in double tent (area with sanitary services) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 3 Paine Towers – Ascensio River Valley From pour camp, we cross the Ascensio river hanging bridge and hike a steep one hour slope, to get inside the Ascensio river valley, a narrow “V” shape alpine valley coming from inside the Paine massif. A gentle downhill leads us to Refugio Chileno, a cozy and comfortable mountain lodge, which can be a good turnaround point for those not willing to make a full day hike. We then walk in a gentle slope along the river side and inside beech forest. A final climb on moraine take us to the Towers viewpoint: a glacier origin lagoon and the three towers rising vertically 1000 mts from the glacier. The lack of breath will be either because the climb and the sight!!!! We go back to our camp on the same way we came. Walking time: 7 to 8 hs. Lodging in Full Camp at Las Torres in double tent (area with sanitary services) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 4 Camp Las Torres – Camp Serón Today we start the traverse. WE leave our camp at the gate of the Ascensio river valley across flat prairies we follow Paine river, up to Camp Serón. 5 hs trekking, fairly flat. During the first part of the walk we get good views of the Towers. Lodging in Expedition Camp Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner Day 5 Camp Serón – Camp Dickson We follow this morning the Paine river valley. After an hour and a moderate climb we turn west and we get the first views of the back part of the massif, including John Garner Pass (1250 mts above sea level) far away closing the valley. We follow the flat bottom of Paine river valley across old cattle area to Lake and camp Dickson. 6 hours trekking. Lodging in Expedition Camp Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 6 Camp Dikson - Camp Los Perros From Dickson we start walking under old and dense beech forest- The Lord of the Rings style. This is the gate to the back part of the massif. A steady up hill lead us to Los Perros river valley, and a few hours later under this magic forest get us to lagoon and glacier Los Perros. We camp behind the moraine of the glacier. 6 hours trekking. Lodging in Expedition Camp Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner.personal equipment only. Day 7 Camp Los Perros – Camp John Garner Pass Our main obstacle today is a boggy area which lead us to the upper stone grounds of the valley, from where a steady climb take us to Paso John Garner, 1250 mts above sea level and a door to the southern section of the Patagonian Ice Field. As soon as we get to the pass we see glacier Grey flowing down to the lake. If visibility is good you will see all of the mountains sticking out of the Ice Field, many of them rarely seen by men. A steep down hill leads us to our camp in the forest. 6 hours trekking. Lodging in Expedition Camp Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 8 Camp John Garner Pass– Camp Grey Today we hike along Grey glacier, across dense forest. Skirting Cerros Ostrava and Olguín, we head to the north side of lake Grey. This is the more humid area of the Park, with lots of ferns along the trail. Our camp today is located in a protected bay, few hundred meters ayaw from the front of the glacier. 6 hours trekking. Lodging in Expedition Camp Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 9 Camp Grey – Camp Refugio Pehoe During the morning, we visit the front of the glacier calving into the lake. By noon, we head towards our next camp by Refuge Pehoe. This is a trail with several ups and downs, and with a number of spectacular viewpoints over the lake and glacier Grey and the mountains of the Ice Field. Once in camp we meet the stuff that we left behind in Camp Las Torres and our Full Camp service. 5 hours trekking. Lodging in Full Camp at Refugio Pehoe in double tent (area with sanitary services) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 10 French valley Today we visit the French valley with a day pack. This is an interior valley of the Paine massif. In its gate, flanks are covered by Paine Grande and the Horns. The upper part of the valley offers lot of dramatic spires and mountains, as Hoja (Blade), Máscara (Mask), Espada (Sword), Catedral (Cathedral), Aleta de Tiburón (Shark Fin) and the magnificent Fortaleza (The Fortress). Trail skirts along lake Skottberg up to Italian Camp, where we have our first viepoints of Paine Grande, Horns and French Glacier. Then the trail climbs up a narrow gorge to the upper bogs and stonegrounds. Walking time for those who reach the upper viewpoints: 8 to 9 hs. For those reaching the lower viewpoints: 5 to 6. Lodging in Full Camp at Refugio Pehoe in double tent (area with sanitary services) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 11 Camp Refuge Pehoe – Camp Lake Pehoe With all our stuff we cross lake Pahoe by boat. Our bus picks us up and after a short drive we reach Camping Pehoé, by Lake Pehoé. After lunch, we visit Salto Grande (an impressive waterfall of Paine river) and later the south end of lake Grey,where the icebergs calving from the glacier in the north side of the lake gathered as they sailed south pushed by the wind. A dream location. We drive back to our camp. Day 1 El Calafate airport – El Calafate We welcome you at Calafate airport and transfer to town to check in at your hostel. Day 2 El Calafate - El Chaltén After breakfast, we take our bus to El Chaltén, 220 km to get to this picturesque village at the foot of Fitz Roy. Stop over on road for coffee and home made cakes. While we approach, we get spectacular views of Viedma lake and glacier, and Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre groups. Lodging in a Hostel room with shared bathroom. Meals we provide: Breakfast Day 3 Laguna Capri Today we start our trek in the National Park. We go in a short drive to the North side of the area, where we start our trek along the Rio Blanco river. During our hike we will have beautiful views of Laguna and Glacier Piedras Blancas (the biggest glacier coming down from Fitz Roy). In the evening we arrive to our Full Camp at Laguna Capri Lodging in Full Camp at Laguna Capri in double tent (rural area) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 4 Río Blanco, Laguna De los Tres From our camp we make our way to reach Rio Blanco Basecamp (Fitz Roy base camp for climbers in the east walls of the group) and we hike up to Laguna de los Tres, viewpoint of Fitz Roy and probably one of the most spectaculars locations in the National Park. We hike down to Rio Blanco and to Laguna Capri. Lodging in Full Camp at Laguna Capri in double tent (rural area) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 5 Cerro Torre Today we make it around Laguna Capri to get to the Lagoons Madre and Hija Valley and down to Fitz Roy river valley, where we meet Cerro Torre trail and we get to Cerro Torre Full Camp. The trail runs along beech forest, bogs and shrub land. From the camp, a short hike takes us to Laguna Torre, enclosed by moraines and with the Glacier Grande calving in its west side. It is usual to see icebergs pushed by the wind in the coast of the lagoon. The thin and elegant 3128 mts of Cerro Torre group and the Adela range in the background complete this spectacular view. Walking time 3 to 4 hs. Lodging at Cerro Torre Full Camp in double tent (rural area) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner. Day 6 Cerro Torre glacier trek This day is a highlight of the trip. We provide crampons, harnesses, and we set out to hike in the cerro Torre glacier. We cross river Fitz Roy river through a tyrolean (horizontal fixed rope attached to both sides of the river). We walk on the moraine around the lagoon and then down to the glacier visiting crevices, ice caves and holes and all the interesting places that a glacier can show. The bonus is the close up views of Cerro Torre group spires. We hike back to our camp in the afternoon. Day 7 El Chalten This is an easy going day after the big effort made the day before. During the morning, we hiuke down river Fitz Roy valley to reach El Chalten along Cerro Torre trail. We check in our lodges and have at leisure during the afternoon to visit town. Lodging in a Hostel room with shared bathroom. Meals we provide: Breakfast and box lunch Day 8 Loma del Pliegue Tumbado A full day hike to make the round trip from Chalten to the summit of this mountain, which is at 1500 mts above sea level and offers spectaculars views of the area. The trail winds along steppe and forest, climbing gently the slopes of the mountain. Once over the forest line, we walk on scree to reach the summit cone and eventually the summer. Its privileged location offers full view over both Cerro Torre and Fitz Roy massifs, the glacier valley in between both, and the surrounding mountains, including Paso del Viento and the Mariano Moreno range in the Southern Ice Field. We get back to Chalten in the afternoon. Lodging in a Hostel room with shared bathroom. Meals we provide: Breakfast and box lunch Day 9 Lake & Glacier Viedma From town we take a van to Bahia Tunel port, on the shores of Lake Viedma. We sail in a modern ship to the front of the glacier, of a deep intense blue. We take our time in the area, visiting ice caves and the surrounding of the glacier. Lodging in a Hostel double or triple room with private bathroom Meals we provide: Breakfast Day 11 El Calafate – Perito Moreno Glacier We dedicate this day to one of the World’s Natural Wonder: the Moreno glacier. This ice field- type glacier flows down from the Patagonian Ice field, and big sheet of ice that with its 22.000 square kilometres is the third largest glacier area in the world, after Antarctica (14 M sq km) and Greenland (1 M sq km). Because unusual favourable local conditions, this glacier is the only one in the world that shows a closure and rupture process. The road leads to the very front of the glacier, which will be only meters away from your eyes. A beautiful, short trail, will lead us from the shores of the lake to the upper viewpoints. The roar of the chunks of ice falling inside the glacier or from the glacier into the lake, the frequent collapse of the front seracs into the turquoise water, makes out of this day a very special and unique experience. We will drive 80 km (1 and a half hour) to get and come back from the glacier across the steppe, watching a wide variety of birds. While we approach, we get spectacular views of Viedma lake and glacier, and Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre groups. Lodging in a Hostel room with shared bathroom. Meals we provide: Breakfast Day 3 Laguna Capri Today we start our trek in the National Park. We go in a short drive to the North side of the area, where we start our trek along the Rio Blanco river. During our hike we will have beautiful views of Laguna and Glacier Piedras Blancas (the biggest glacier coming down from Fitz Roy). In the evening we arrive to our Full Camp at Laguna Capri. Day 4 Río Blanco, Laguna De los Tres From our camp we make our way to reach Rio Blanco Basecamp (Fitz Roy base camp for climbers in the east walls of the group) and we hike up to Laguna de los Tres, viewpoint of Fitz Roy and probably one of the most spectaculars locations in the National Park. We hike down to Rio Blanco and to Laguna Capri. Lodging in Full Camp at Laguna Capri in double tent (rural area) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 5 Cerro Torre Today we make it around Laguna Capri to get to the Lagoons Madre and Hija Valley and down to Fitz Roy river valley, where we meet Cerro Torre trail and we get to Cerro Torre Full Camp. The trail runs along beech forest, bogs and shrub land. From the camp, a short hike takes us to Laguna Torre, enclosed by moraines and with the Glacier Grande calving in its west side. It is usual to see icebergs pushed by the wind in the coast of the lagoon. The thin and elegant 3128 mts of Cerro Torre group and the Adela range in the background complete this spectacular view. Walking time 3 to 4 hs. Lodging at Cerro Torre Full Camp in double tent (rural area) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner. Day 6 Cerro Torre glacier trek This day is a highlight of the trip. We provide crampons, harnesses, and we set out to hike in the cerro Torre glacier. We cross river Fitz Roy river through a tyrolean (horizontal fixed rope attached to both sides of the river). We walk on the moraine around the lagoon and then down to the glacier visiting crevices, ice caves and holes and all the interesting places that a glacier can show. The bonus is the close up views of Cerro Torre group spires. We hike back to our camp in the afternoon. Lodging at Cerro Torre Full Camp in double tent (rural area) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner. Day 7 El Chalten This is an easy going day after the big effort made the day before. During the morning, we hike down river Fitz Roy valley to reach El Chalten along Cerro Torre trail. We check in our lodges and have at leisure during the afternoon to visit town. Meals we provide: Breakfast and box lunch Day 8 Loma del Pliegue Tumbado A full day hike to make the round trip from Chalten to the summit of this mountain, which is at 1500 mts above sea level and offers spectaculars views of the area. The trail winds along steppe and forest, climbing gently the slopes of the mountain. Once over the forest line, we walk on scree to reach the summit cone and eventually the summer. Its privileged location offers full view over both Cerro Torre and Fitz Roy massifs, the glacier valley in between both, and the surrounding mountains, including Paso del Viento and the Mariano Moreno range in the Southern Ice Field. We get back to Chalten in the afternoon. Lodging in a Hostel room with shared bathroom. Meals we provide: Breakfast and box lunch Day 9 Lake & Glacier Viedma From town we take a van to Bahia Tunel port, on the shores of Lake Viedma. We sail in a modern ship to the front of the glacier, of a deep intense blue. We take our time in the area, visiting ice caves and the surrounding of the glacier. Meals we provide: Breakfast and box lunch Day 10 El Chaltén – El Calafate In the morning we take our bus back to El Calafate. After the 4 hs trip, we check in our accommodation and have time at leisure to shop or just visit the town. Day 11 El Calafate – Perito Moreno Glacier We dedicate this day to one of the World’s Natural Wonder: the Moreno glacier. This ice fieldtype glacier flows down from the Patagonian Ice field, and big sheet of ice that with its 22.000 square kilometres is the third largest glacier area in the world, after Antarctica (14 M sq km) and Greenland (1 M sq km). Because unusual favourable local conditions, this glacier is the only one in the world that shows a closure and rupture process. The road leads to the very front of the glacier, which will be only meters away
from your eyes. A beautiful, short trail, will lead us from the shores of the lake to the upper viewpoints. The roar of the chunks of ice falling inside the glacier or from the glacier into the lake, the frequent collapse of the front seracs into the turquoise water, makes out of this day a very special and unique experience. We will drive 80 km (1 and a half hour) to get and come back from the glacier across the steppe, watching a wide variety of birds. Lodging in a Hostel double or triple room with private bathroom Meals we provide: Breakfast. Day 12 El Calafate – Torres del Paine Early start for a 6 hs drive to our camp in Paine. We drive across the steppe, still following by parts the legendary route 40, to get around Sierra de los Baguales, an impressive range in between Calafate and Paine. We cross the Argentinean Chilean border at Cancha Carrera/ Cerro Castillo. After the border crossing, we start our final sprint to Paine National Park, World Heritage by the UNESCO (United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization). Approaching the Park, we start to see the different mountains that feature the area: Paine Grande, the Horns, Admiral Nieto and the Towers. We enter the Park by Porteria Laguna Amarga. A rich wildlife: guanacos, lesser rheas, condors and all types of wetland and buzzard birds, will be available for our eyes and cameras. Lodging in Full Camp at Las Torres in double tent (area with sanitary services) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 13 Paine Towers – Ascensio River Valley From pour camp, we cross the Ascensio river hanging bridge and hike a steep one hour slope, to get inside the Ascensio river valley, a narrow “V” shape alpine valley coming from inside the Paine massif. A gentle downhill leads us to Refugio Chileno, a cozy and comfortable mountain lodge, which can be a good turnaround point for those not willing to make a full day hike. We then walk in a gentle slope along the river side and inside beech forest. A final climb on moraine take us to the Towers viewpoint: a glacier origin lagoon and the three towers rising vertically 1000 mts from the glacier. The lack of breath will be either because the climb and the sight!!!! We go back to our camp on the same way we came. Walking time: 7 to 8 hs. Lodging in Full Camp at Las Torres in double tent (area with sanitary services) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 14 Las Torres - Paso Cuernos Today we start a 2 days traverse from Las Torres to Refugio Pehoe Full Camp, with one night at Refugio Los Cuernos. The so called “Nordenskjöld lake traverse” or “Traverse of the Horns”. We take in our packs the necessary items for this 2 days trek, which are personal items, some spare clothing and our sleeping bag. The walk goes along lake Nordenskjöld and at the foot of Admiral Nieto and the Horns. We stay in Refugio Los Cuernos this night. Lodging at Refugio Los Cuernos with shared room and bathroom Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 15 French valley – Refugio Pehoé After an early start, we walk to the Italian Camp, gate to the French valley, with splendid views of the south east Himalayan style face of Paine Grande and the Horns. We hike up valley to the upper viewpoints, at the entrance of a unique cirque surrounded by granite spires that feature the high valley: Hoja (Blade), Máscara (Mask), Espada (Sword), Catedral (Cathedral), Aleta de Tiburón (Shark Fin) and the magnificent Fortaleza (The Fortress). Back to Italian camp, we head to lake Skkotberg and finally to lake Pehoe, where our Full Camp is waiting together with the rest of our luggage. Lodging at Refugio Pehoe Full Camp in double tent (area with sanitary services) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner. Day 16 Lake & Glacier Grey viewpoints Lake Grey trail leads from Pehoe Valley across ridges to reach Grey valley. This magnificent valley flows down somewhat of 60 km from the Patagonian Ice field, featuring the huge glacier calving down in the grey colour lake. Our trail skirts the lake, going up and down the westerns slopes of Paine Grande, offering some of the most impressive sights of the Park. From the high sections of the trail, many different viewpoints allow us to see the south end of the lake where the blue icebergs gather, the mountains rising far in the distance above glaciers Grey and Tyndall, and of course lake and glacier Grey. The trail reaches a close up point to the front of the glacier. We come back along the same trail, crossing bogs, shrub lands and forest. In the evening we take the boat to cross lake Pehoe back to Pudeto and get back to our Camping Pehoe Full Camp. Time to walk 8 hs. To the half way viewpoints, round way from our camp, 4 to 5 hs. Day 17 Lake Pehoe boat trip - Salto Grande - Camping Pehoe Morning at leisure in our camp to get some relax after the trek. By noon we take the boat across lake Pehoe to Port Pudeto. Short drive to our Full Camp at Camping Pehoe. After lunch, we visit Salto Grande and the Nordenskjöld trail, leading to the lake and with full views of the French valley from this side of the Park. Lodging at Camping Pehoe Full Camp in double tent (area with sanitary services) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner. Day 18 Lake Grey - Camping Pehoe We visit the western section of the Park. A short and gentle hike in lake Grey south shore and a steep uphill to Cerro Ferrier viewpoint to get our final views of this splendid National Park. Day 19 Torres del Paine – El Calafate We leave early in the morning our camp and get back to the border to re-enter Argentina and drive back to El Calafate. Day 1 El Calafate airport – El Calafate We welcome you at Calafate airport and transfer to town to check in at your hostel. Day 2 El Calafate - El Chaltén Alter breakfast we take our bus for the 220 km drive to El Chaltén, a small and picturesque village at the foot of Fitz Roy & Cerro Torre massif. We make a stop half way to enjoy local pastries and hot coffee. On approach, the views of both Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre massifs and of glacier Viedma and the mountains of the Ice field are spectacular. During the afternoon we prepare our packs for the first part of our trek. Lodging at a Hostel room with shared bathroom. Meals we provide: Breakfast and dinner. Day 3 Laguna de los Tres, Fitz Roy, Laguna Capri Alter breakfast we drive 15 km north to river Electrico bridge. There we start our walk towards Laguna Capri Full Camp, following upriver the Rio Blanco valley, visiting the Piedras Blancas glacier viewpoint and Laguna de los Tres. This is the viewpoint for Fitz Roy massif. We have spectacular views of all the spires and glaciers. 7 hs trekking. Day 4 Laguna Torre We go around Laguna Capri to get to the lagoons Madre and Hija valley and then to the Cerro Torre valley. From the Estancia, a Zodiac take us sailing along the fiord, a narrow and sharp valley between ranges Mascarello and Huemules, to our first Expedition Camp, located at the end of the fjord. From here we can see the glaciers coming down from the Ice field. Is one of the wildest and less visited areas of the National Park. Day 7 Towards Paso Norte We hike up the valley that leads to the Paso Norte (Northern Pass). The sides of the valley show the traces of old forest fires. During all day we will have spectacular views of this wild section of the Park. We camp in the upper part of the valley. 700 mts to climb, 6 hs trekking. Lodging in Expedition Camp Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 8 Cerros Norte & Moyano, Cañadón Norte We go on up valley until we reach the pass that leads to the Cañadón Norte (Northern Canyon). The pass is at 1100 mts above sea level. Once in the Pass we are at the foot of the impressive Cerro Moyano and we can see the Mascarello Natural Reserve (habitat for the endangered local deer, called huemul). We can see the canyon winding down in its long way to Laguna Pearson. We start our descent along glacier polished rocks, we cross some boggy areas and low forest to reach 2 spectacular lagoons at the foot of Cerro Norte. The southern one has a beautiful glacier coming down from Cerro Norte and calving in its far end. 7 hs trekking. Lodging in Expedition Camp Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch and dinner. Day 9 Fossils Canyon We walk our way down along the valley, following old cattle trails. Moving from the forest into the shrubland, we climb the ridge of the valley that is to our left and from there we have spectacular views of the Fossils Canyon in front of us, Upsala glacier and Cerro Murallón in the background and Estancia Cristina in the shores of lake Argentino far away in the distance. 400 hs mts of downhill, 6 hs trekking. Day 10 Estancia Cristina, lake Argentino & El Calafate We start our way down to this big wide valley, dig by the glaciers many years ago. We cross several ridges before reaching its flat bottom. A final effort is to be made, we need to wade river Los Perros, and we get to Estancia Cristina. In the afternoon we take the boat to Puerto Bandera and we drive to El Calafate. In the evening we take the boat to cross lake Pehoe back to Pudeto and get back to our Camping Pehoe Full Camp. Time to walk 8 hs. To the half way viewpoints, round way from our camp, 4 to 5 hs. Lodging at Refugio Pehoe Full Camp in double tent (area with sanitary services) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner. Day 7 Lake Pehoe boat trip - Salto Grande - Camping Pehoe Morning at leisure in our camp to get some relax after the trek. By noon we take the boat across lake Pehoe to Port Pudeto. Short drive to our Full Camp at Camping Pehoe. After lunch, we visit Salto Grande and the Nordenskjöld trail, leading to the lake and with full views of the French valley from this side of the Park. Lodging at Camping Pehoe Full Camp in double tent (area with sanitary services) Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner. Day 8 Lake Grey - Camping Pehoe We visit the western section of the Park. A short and gentle hike in lake Grey south shore and a steep uphill to Cerro Ferrier viewpoint to get our final views of this splendid National Park. Day 9 Torres del Paine – El Calafate We leave early in the morning our camp and get back to the border to re-enter Argentina and drive back to El Calafate. Upon arrival to El Calafate you will be met by our local representative and transferred to you hostel. The rest of the day is at your own to visit town. COMPLETE ITINERARY - 19 DAYS (Heights in meters) Day 01: Mendoza (760) We will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to the hotel. On this day our guide will check your mountain equipment and accompany you to hire the necessary things. You will lodge and enjoy the comforts of one of the best hotels in Mendoza city. (Food is not included) Day 02: Mendoza / Penitentes (2,725) Before going to Penitentes, the whole group will apply for the climbing permit with the guides’ assistance. You will have lunch and spend the night in Penitentes. In the afternoon, the mules are loaded and prepared for the following day. (B, L, D) Day 03: Penitentes / Confluencia (3,300) The group will be taken to the entrance of the Park in a private van. There the permits will be presented and you will start with the trekking to Confluencia Camp. The equipment will be carried by mules. At arrival, you will set up your tent with your partner and will be able to rest. (B, PL, D) Day 04: Confluencia / Plaza Francia (4,000) / Confluencia Trek to Plaza Francia, base of the south face of Mt. Aconcagua. Here you will enjoy a delicious lunch and a spectacular view. Then you will return to Confluencia. This trekking is considered part of the acclimatization process, fundamental in our expedition. (B, PL, D) Day 05: Confluencia / Plaza de Mulas (4,260) The trek to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp lasts around 8 hours. You will stay in our own base camp with the necessary commodities for you to be as comfortable as possible. (B, PL, D) Day 06: Plaza de Mulas Resting day. You will make a short trek in Plaza de Mulas area, to contemplate the beauty of the mountain. On this day, you will also leave ready the crampons, which will be used in the altitude. (B, L, D) Day 07: Plaza de Mulas / Mt. Bonete (5,100) / Plaza de Mulas Acclimatization trekking to Mt. Bonete summit and return to Plaza de Mulas. This trekking will take about 6 hours and you will reach 5,100 m of altitude.This activity will definitely turn on all the acclimatization mechanisms on your body. (B, PL, D) Day 08: Plaza de Mulas / Camp 1 “Plaza Canadá” (4,910) / Plaza de Mulas Acclimatization trek to Camp 1 “Canada”. You will take part of the the food and equipment that you will need in the height camps (each member of the group will carry - without exception - a food and equipment load for the expedition that will be 10 kg tops). You will have lunch and then return to the Base Camp. (B, PL, D) Day 09: Plaza de Mulas Resting and acclimatization day. After a 3 hs. trekking, you will arrive at La Hoyada, where you will rest in order to recover becouse next day you will climb to the summit. The horseback riding across Tunuyán Valley is the most traditional program in Mendoza. It has been declared as cultural interest since San Martin General and his army horses raided taking these valleys. Its beauty, valleys, rivers and mountains will surprise you in each step during the track.

Day 1 Airport - Ciudad de Salta We are greeted at the Salta Airport and transferred to our accommodations. The rest of the day will be free for us to discover this unique city. Lodging at Hostería double or single. Meals we provide: none. Day 2 San Antonio de los Cobres and Salinas Grandes We depart early on our way to Campo Quijano, going thru the Quebrada Del Toro, and the finally arriving to the pre Hispanic city of Rosa de Tastil with its legendary ruins. Our trip continues to San Antonio de los Cobres, a typical town located at 4000 meters high. Later, we will be able to appreciate the “Salinas Grandes”; then descending over the path of the Lipan, we’ll make a stop at the town of Pumamarca and its famous Mount of the ‘Los Siete Colores’. Later we arrive to our lodge at the picturesque town of Tilcara. Lodging at Hostería double or single. Meals we provide: Breakfast Day 3 Tilcara - Iruya During the morning, we will go towards the North in a local Bus to the small town of Iruya, a picturesque village just in the north of Salta. We will have enough time to go around the town, discovering its beautiful cobbled streets and its typical Cappel. We will spend the night in this fascinating place. Simple Lodging Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner Day 4 Iruya – Chiyayoc Early in the morning, we will begin the crossing from Iruya, at 2800metres high. We will go up north the river in a slow but incessant ascent, until we reach the Abra Del Colorado. From there, we will descent to the San Juan River where we have lunch. After the break, another ascent is expecting us and then the posterior descent to the Chiyayoc village, at 3100 m OSL. Walking time: 8 to 9 hours. Lodging at Semi full camping Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner Day 5 Chiyayoc - Rodeo Colorado Our trek continues thru this amazing landscape. We descend until we reach the valley of the river Trancas. Once there we start ascending again till we arrive to the edge. From there we’ll have a fabulous view of the town of Rodeo Colorado. Later we go back descending thru the Pera River. We finally arrive to Rodeo Colorado town. Estimated waling time: 8 to 9 hours. Simple lodging Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner Day 6 Rodeo Colorado - Río Nazareno This day we descend our way thru a wide slope to the town of Molino, keeping always the amazing view of the valley of the river Nazareno in our back. Day 9 Salar de Uyuni We leave Uyuni around 11:00 hs. Heading to Colchani (22 Km. to the north of Uyuni), a little village of built around the exploitation and refinery of salt. We enter the town walking through the piles and attending a demonstration of the extraction of the salt blocks. Day 10 Salar de Uyuni –Altiplanic lagoons Leaving around 09:00 hs., after breakfast, to visit the altiplanic Lagoons: Cañapa, Hedionda y Ramadita, then continuing through the desert of Siloli to see the Tree of Stone. Visit to Laguna Colorada where we can appreciate the pink Flemings and major Andean fauna such as vicuña, suri or andean ñandú. We spend the night at another basic refuge.mLodging at Basic Refuge. Day 11 Altiplanic lagoons – San Pedro de Atacama The day begins around 05:00 AM, when we leave the refuge to be able to see the Geysers (volcanic steam springs) and visit the thermal waters. Continuing our travel we find very curious rock formations produced by countless years of erosion, and finally reach Laguna Verde, a lagoon very particular and famous because of its color shift occurring between 11:00 and 12:00. We also visit Laguna Blanca and then cross the border control and customs office to Bolivia. After that, we take a new transport vehicle and continue to San Pedro de Atacama, arriving past noon. Day 12 Laguna Cejar y Tebinquinche By the afternoon we will visit two lagoons located in the north sector of the Atacama salt pans, 30 km. away from San Pedro de Atacama. The first lagoon we encounter is Laguna Cejar, with its intense emerald color and borders crystallized by salt; we can get in the water and enjoy the levitating effect of the high amounts of salt making our bodies float easily and making for a very relaxing experience. Continuing our course we reach Tebinquinche lagoon, which has characteristics similar to the Chaxa lagoon, in both cases they depend on thaws and the rains at the end of the years. Here we can see some flemings, foxes and a variety of birds in small groups. As we finish the day, we return to San Pedro de Atacama. Lodging at Hostería double or single. Meals we provide: Breakfast. Day 13 Trekking de las Cornisas At 09:00 hs. We begin the Trekking de las Cornisas (Cornices’ Trekking), which takes place in the highest portion of the salt mountains chain, starting at the Catarpe valley, going up to the cornice of the salt mountains chain and ending at Valle de la Muerte (Valley of the Death). We are driven in vehicle to the starting point, the old tunnel conducting to Calama, built in 1930, and once we complete the trek and reach Valle de la Muerte, the vehicle will be waiting for us to bring us back to San Pedro de Atacama. This trekking takes approximately 3 hours to be completed. From this sector it is possible to appreciate the magnitude of Salar de Atacama, San Pedro de Atacama and the Andes. Then we have the rest of the day to enjoy San Pedro de Atacama at our leisure. Lodging at Hostería double or single. Meals we provide: Breakfast. Day 14 San Pedro de Atacama – Salta Early in the morning we say goodbye to San Pedro de Atacama and take a regular bus to cross the Andes and enter Argentina in an amazing trip through Paso de Jama (at 4200 mts above sea level) until we reach the beautiful City of Salta. 1252 tour - CROSSING FROM THE PUNA TO RAINFOREST 6-night program
This trekking is the best way to appreciate the spectacular geography of the region and its characterizing transitions, from the 4000 mts. of the Altiplano to the exuberant Rainforest at just 500 mts. above mean sea level. This a journey from West to East across slopes and cliffs, leading from the Quebrada de Humahuaca to the high pastures, to then smoothly descend through the hills vegetation, the mountain forest, and finally the rainforest at Calilegua, known as the region of the Yungas. At every moment we will be among wide views of the chains of mountains framing the Altiplano and originating the large rivers crossing the plains towards the Mesopotamia and the Atlantic. Day by day itinerary Day 1 Day off at Tilcara This day off allows us to enjoy the picturesque town of Tilcara, admire the crafting virtues of the local and prepare ourselves for the beginning of the crossing early in the coming morning. Lodging at Hostería double or single. Meals we provide: none. Day 2 Tilcara – Veranada de Yutos Pampa Early morning, we take a local transfer to “Alfacito” (2900 m OSL). There, we will begin our on foot crossing, with a slow and incessant ascent - we have to be careful about acclimatizing- up to reach Campo Laguna (4200 m OSL). This is the highest point of the crossing. After lunch, we will descent to Yutos Pampa at 3200 meters OSL. Lodging at Semi full Camping. Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner Day 3 Veranada de Yutos Pampa - Molulo We continue our crossing, ascending till the top of the Mount Cumbre Grande. At the end of the valley, the crowded forest can be appreciated. In the afternoon we arrive to the community of Molulo at 2950 meters of
high. Estimated walking time: 6 to 7hs. Lodging at Semi full Camping. Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner Day 4 Molulo – Abra del Potrero We will have a peaceful morning, and plenty of time to meet the local inhabitants and going around the area. After lunch, we will continue with our crossing. Gradually, you would notice the increase of vegetation; we will arrive then, to a place known as Abra Potrero. Walking time: 4 to 5 hs. Lodging at Semi full Camping. Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner Day 5 Abra del Potrero – San Lucas We continue our adventure from the Abra of the Potrero (lowest point between two mountains). The thick forest gives birth to plain landscape. From the red land come the first trees. After undertaking a section of forest in continuous ascension we get to see the Caserío of San Lucas, located at 2500 meters of high. Later, we slowly start the descent back to the town. Walking time 7 to 8 hours. Lodging at Semi full Camping. Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch, dinner Day 6 San Lucas - Calilegua - Salta Last stage of the crossing between San Lucas and San Francisco. The path continues by the southern bank of San Lucas River, the vegetation is dense and the valley is deep. After crossing Valle Grande Valley, we will ascent to Peña Alta, which is the end of our long walk. There, a local transfer is waiting for us, to lead us through the small town of San Francisco and the whole Calilegua National Park arriving to Liberator San Martín Village. Day 1 Calama - San Pedro de Atacama We welcome you at the Calama Airport and transfer you to San Pedro de Atacama. Will have the rest of the day to enjoy the town. Day 2 San Pedro de Atacama - Valle de la Luna Early in the morning after breakfast, we will visit an area near town known as “La Cordillera de la Sal (‘’Mountain range made of SALT’’) with its very own particular formations. From there we’ll have an unforgettable view of Los Andes and the valleys around the town. In the afternoon we’ll do a small trek to the Valle de la Luna; located at 17 km from San Pedro in the area of the Cordillera de la Sal, it has an especial appeal for its amazing resemblance to the lunar surface. Lodging at Hosteria double or single. Meals we provide: Breakfast. Day 3 Salar Grande y Trekking to the Valley of San Bartolo This day we’ll visit the Atacama’s Great ‘’Salar’’ (Stone formations made of Salt). It’s known all around the world as 3rd one of its dimensions. In it we’ll also get to see the flamencos that live in the region. Later we’ll continue till Toconao, small towns known for its art craft. In the afternoon, we’ll start our trek thru the valley of Catarpé we’ll walk to the beginning of the river San Bartola; once there, 'petroglifos' (small incrustations of marine life in stone) can be found. Then we keep going until we reach the 2700 meters of high, where we’ll camp. Lodging at Semi full Camping. Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch Dinner Day 4 Trekking San Bartolo - Rio Grande Today, already acclimatized, we will begin to gain altitude, join a river-bed where we find weird stone formations and giants’ cactus that emerge from the arid desert. We will continue up to the 3500 metres high, around the area of Rio Grande, a small village where we have our second Camp site. Lodging at Semi full Camping. Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch Dinner Day 5 Trekking Rio Grande - Machuca After breakfast, we leave behind Rio Grande Village and we will go through an area of narrow rivers that create fertile valleys where the inhabitants take theirs “llamas” to graze. We will continue gaining altitude up to Vilarejo de Machuca (4100 metres) where we camp. From here, we have an astonishing view of the Licancabur volcano. Lodging at Semi full Camping. Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch Dinner Day 6 Machuca - Geyser Del Tatio This day starts quite early in the morning. We will depart before dawn (4 AM) in order to go to the TATIO volcano, located 4500 meters over the level of the sea. First thing we’ll do once we arrive is to go to the geothermal field located in the mountain range of Los Andes. Early in the morning this place has an amazing steamy activity because of the high temperatures that are coming up from the craters. The boiling water, the huge columns on steam and the water that runs underneath the surface makes of this, and unforgettable experience. We will have breakfast here, and then we’ll take a walk and those who want to might take a bath in the warm water near the geysers. (That’s why we recommend you to bring along besides warm clothing, a swimming suit, towel, sun block) Hostería base double o single Meals we provide: Breakfast Day 7 San Pedro de Atacama This is a day off so we’ll be able to choose between different options such as: the ascension of the Lascar Volcano or the Toco Mountain or just take a look around walking or by bicycle Lodging at Hosteria double or single. Day 8 San Pedro de Atacama - Tilcara Early in the morning we say goodbye to San Pedro de Atacama and by bus we go back to Argentina crossing the mountain range of Los Andes. Thru el Paso de Jama we will be able to appreciate the “Salinas Grandes”; then descending over the path of the Lipan, we’ll make a stop at the town of Pumamarca and its famous Mount of the ‘Los Siete Colores’. Later we arrive to our lodge at the painteresque town of Tilcara. Lodging at Hosteria double or single. Meals we provide: Breakfast. Day 9 Devil’s Throat - Tilcara We’ll have the morning free to discover the town and its unique things such us: la plaza grande, la plaza chica, the town church - and the Pucará de Tilcara. In the afternoon we’ll do a small trek to the devil’s throat, walking along the old Kollas paths and watching the amazing view. After 3 or 4 hours we finally go back to Tilcara. Lodging at Hosteria double or single. Meals we provide: Breakfast. Day 10 Tilcara - Iruya During the morning, we will go towards the North in a local Bus to the small town of Iruya, a picturesque village just in the north of Salta. We will have enough time to go around the town, discovering its beautiful cobbled streets and its typical Cappel. We will spend the night in this fascinating place. Simple Lodging Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch Dinner Day 11 Iruya - Chiyayoc Early in the morning, we will begin the crossing from Iruya, at 2800metres high. We will go up north the river in a slow but incessant ascent, until we reach the Abra Del Colorado. From there, we will descent to the San Juan River where we have lunch. After the break, another ascent is expecting us and then the posterior descent to the Chiyayoc village, at 3100 m OSL. Walking time: 8 to 9 hours. Simple Lodging Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch Dinner Day 12 Chiyayoc - Rodeo Colorado Our trek continues thru this amazing landscape. We descend until we reach the valley of the river Trancas. Once there we start ascending again till we arrive to the edge. From there we’ll have a fabulous view of the town of Rodeo Colorado. Later we go back descending thru the Pera River. We finally arrive to Rodeo Colorado town. Estimated walking time: 8 to 9 hours. Lodging at Semi full Camping. Meals we provide: Breakfast, box lunch Dinner Day 13 Rodeo Colorado - Nazareno River This day we descend our way thru a wide slope to the town of Molino, keeping always the amazing view of the valley of the river Nazareno in our back. GENERAL CONDITIONS The following general conditions fully conform to Law 18829, Decree 2182/72, Resolution 404/72. RIPIO EVT OF IDEAS TURÍSTICAS S.R.L., Dossier No. 10687, located at Av. Raúl Scalabrini Ortiz 258 – 3rd Floor C, Buenos Aires, Argentina, hereinafter the company, hereby sets forth its general operation conditions for the provision of tourist services: 1. Knowledge of conditions set forth: when the passenger (as well as any person who has a reservation under the passenger’s name) sends his reservation and it is accepted by RIPIO EVT, it is understood that he agrees to and accepts all the conditions set out in this contract and certifies that the information supplied in the reservation card is complete and true The company, on accepting the reservation, agrees to fulfill its obligations as set forth herein. 2. Reservations: reservations received shall be confirmed once the passenger : A) Sends the reservation providing as much information as possible. We must be immediately informed of any changes in the information the passenger has furnished. The passenger can send the reservation by mail, e-mail, fax or through our web site. B) Pays a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the trip. Payment shall be made to our international account or by bank transfer to our accounts with national banks 3. Reservation confirmation: once A and B are completed so that the passenger’s reservation can be formalized, RIPIO EVT shall send the passenger via e-mail confirmation of his reservation. A week before the trip, we shall send the passenger by e-mail information on the hotel, contact telephone numbers, list of passengers and related data in a voucher service. 4. Payment of the balance due: the balance due must be necessarily paid for before undertaking the trip. The balance due be paid in cash. 5. Prices: all prices advertised in the company’s publications are quoted in US dollars and subject to changes without prior notice. Passengers shall pay the price quoted at the moment the reservation is accepted. Prices shall not be subject to changes only if the trip is paid in full (in cash) when the reservation is made. Otherwise, the company reserves the right to change the final price of the program without prior notice. Such changes shall arise from market fluctuations that may affect the cost structure. All price increases shall be paid for prior to the date of departure. 6. Reservation changes: if the passenger wishes to make changes in a reservation that has already been confirmed, he shall do so in writing. Passengers shall have to pay a penalty of U$S 50 per person when they make any such changes. 7. Reservation cancellation: cancellations shall be made in writing, without exception, and passengers shall be refunded the price of the trip after a deduction of cancellation charges. The cancellation date shall be the date RIPIO EVT. is dully notified by the passenger. The sum to be refunded to the passenger shall be paid by the company at the company’s premises within 30 days of the date notice was given of the cancellation. If cancellation notice is received 30 days prior to departure, 30% of the down payment made on the reservation shall be deducted to cover administrative expenses. If notice is received within 30 days prior to departure, the company shall retain the total down payment. 8. Changes made by the company prior to departure: the company may change itineraries, services, departure dates, etc. either in order to provide a better service, or because of acts of God or unforeseen circumstances. Unforeseen circumstances include: strikes, earthquakes, civil war, quarantine, revolutions, fires, adverse meteorological conditions, epidemics, bad road conditions o breakage’s, these being just illustrative. The company reserves the right to cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances or because the minimum number of people required to participate in the program has not been reached. In such a case the passenger will be informed in writing and he may opt for:
a) Demanding that he be refunded the full price paid to us. b) Deciding on an alternative trip and pay an additional sum of money or get a refund, whatever the case may be, if there is a price difference. 9. Documentation: it is the passenger’s responsibility to obtain his visa to enter the country of destination. The company is not to be held responsible if the passenger is refused, for reasons inherent to him, an entry visa or if entrance to a given country is not allowed because he has failed to comply with essential requirements or because there is something wrong with his passport. Any expenses arising thereof shall be fully borne by the passenger. The conditions set forth for voluntary cancellation of the service shall apply. 10. Luggage: the luggage and personal effects shall be, at all times, the passenger’s responsibility and at his own risk. 11. Services included: the company binds itself to render during the trip those services that are included and detailed in the information furnished in each program. 12. Services not included: the company is not bound to pay for incidentals, beverages, phone calls, laundry, tips, food during transportation, tickets for recreational centers, parks and natural reserves, etc., nor for any other service that has not been dully specified in the program. 13. Unused services: the price of the program is quoted as a package, so no refund or compensation shall be given for non-use of certain services such as hotel stays, transportation, or any other service that is included in the trip and has not been used by the passenger. 14. The company acting as an “intermediary”: When the company acts as an intermediary between the passengers and transportation companies, hotels, medical coverage, restaurants, etc., and if any of them fails to provide services, it undertakes to take the necessary steps to assure successful completion of the trip such as hiring new service providers, withholding payments to those who failed to meet their obligations, etc. The company shall not be held responsible for services provided by third parties. 15. Health: Passengers must be in good health and physical condition. Passengers are responsible for having checkups and the company is not to be held responsible in case they have not been completed.. However, it is the passenger’s responsibility to bring along medicine that has been specifically prescribed to him. 16. Complaints: neither RIPIO EVT nor service providers shall accept a formal complaint unless it is made in writing within 15 days after the trip has ended. 17. Insurance: travel insurance is not included in the price of the program. RIPIO EVT strongly recommends passengers to get travel insurance. 18. Limitation of our obligations: our obligation in connection with any event or failure shall be limited to and shall not exceed the price of the trip. 19. Applicable law and jurisdiction: these conditions and the annexes attached hereto shall be exclusively governed by regulations in force. Any conflict shall be settled by the Ordinary Courts of the First Judicial District of Buenos Aires, and excludes any other court and/or jurisdiction, especially the Federal court and/or jurisdiction.
