Elements of this tourist resort project The Nautilus Eco-Resort is the leading eco-tourism complex designed to unite the scientific community with the desire of tourists to protect a degraded ecosystem as the project stems from concerns about the exposure of islands in the western Pacific to pollution, mass tourism, overfishing and climate change.
Concept Nautilus Eco Resort Project The golden ratio or the Fibonacci sequence where the idea was used in the design of the project
31
32
The idea is inspired by the golden ratio or from the Fibonacci sequence, which is a sequence in which the limit equals the sum of the previous two terms and we find it in nature around us, for example in the human body and others, as it resulted in many forms and architects have used them throughout the ages in many buildings and facilities

They are also planted with plants that help cool the atmosphere, and they are made of environmentally friendly materials, which is bio-concrete.

central building The resort is not only focused on tourists, in the center of the resort there will be a scientific research center and a marine recreational base known as “Origami Mountain”.
It is a mountain-like complex that includes - School - Recreational swimming pools - Gyms - Organic gardens - Resort kitchens A group of laboratories for environmental scientists It relies on linking resort users and scientists, which enhances the idea of sustainability among people and increases their knowledge of ways to implement it. SCIENTIFIC LEARNING CENTER
It is characterized by great coverage that allows the entry of natural light without harming the users. On the “mountain” surface, there will be organic orchards and botanical gardens serving the resort’s restaurants, as well as a sports pool and a seawater recreational pool surrounded by scientific laboratories, something the architectdesigner hopes will “increase exchanges between researchers and tourists.” Environmentalists”, as it is made of environmentally friendly materials, and this place is a good focal point for spreading awareness of concern for the environment.

How sustainability was implemented in the Nautilus Resort project: – Rainwater and gray water harvesting and reuse – Converting human waste into an energy source. Use of sustainable materials during construction including microscopic algae, linseed oil and local wood species. The use of tidal energy via underwater turbines and solar energy through photovoltaic cells. The use of bio-concrete in the facades of the hotel in the form of a shell and green walls, and laminated timber in the central complex. The proposed primary transportation system for the resort is by boat, in an effort to prevent the imposition of road infrastructure; The boats will have flat bottoms to prevent harm to the marine environment. Volunteer ecotourism experts will be tasked with cleaning up any beach waste, installing recycling systems, protecting coral crops, and other initiatives aimed at improving local conditions. * This resort presents a collaborative concept which is (Eco-tourism) responsible for education and interpretation in a natural environment, where resources are preserved and the well-being of the population through the motto (Zero Emissions - Zero Waste - Zero Poverty).
