I am a Mexican designer with an interest to grow in the areas of branding and product design. Also, I am keen on developing projects that involve cultural management. Design is my passion, I enjoy developing a creative project from conception to ďŹ nal product. My creative process is based on research, a special eye on detail and an engagement of transforming the ordinary into extraordinary.

GASTROCORREDOR_ Gastrocorredor is a gastronomic event where restaurants go out and prepare their best dish at an affordable price. The event takes place on the streets of Mexico City, accompanied by music, art and cultural happenings. The design idea was to create a warm identity to invite people to try different avors and be part of this event. Developed as part of my collaboration with Hanneder & Maul Group. April 2013, Mexico City.






CHILANGO_

Chilango is a leading magazine in Mexico that is about culture, art and entertainment. For its 10th anniversary, they wanted to celebrate highlighting iconic places and traditions of Mexico City. The creative idea was to develop simultaneous spaces and activities where people could appreciate the contemporary culture of this city. The design outcomes were: - Design of commemorative logo - Design the space of a "Mexican market" where local street food and crafts were mounted. - Guerrilla Advertising: pot with plant chili, labeled with typical Mexican phrases. - Iconography of 10 important buildings in the city and the development of advertising for print media.

ESTRATEGIA DIGITAL NACIONAL_ EDN is a forum where issues of technology and development for the country are discussed. It is an event organized by the government of Mexico and is celebrated in Mexico City. The creative concept was to merge technological development through the years with current technology. The proposal was to create a minimalist identity to express formality. The spaces were designed to give a warm welcome and communicate a contrast between the technology of the past and the present. Developed as part of my collaboration with Hanneder & Maul Group. February 2013, Mexico City.

JAGERMEISTER PARTY_ Jagermeister a leading alcohol brand. To strengthen the connection with customers in Mexico, they organized an event to unveil the origin and essence of the brand. The project was developed based on the legend of a hunter, which is the origin of the brand, highlighting the rustic elements that are part of the ancestral essence of its avor. The design consisted of event identity, invitations, menus and design of space and scenery. Developed as part of my collaboration with Hanneder & Maul Group. February 2013, Mexico City.





MUCCA_ Mucca was the project that I developed in my academic exchange. The project was a children's toy made from recycled cardboard, from plane figures assembled, were different scenarios to play and imagine.. The concept was created from the idea to free the imagination and allow children to experiment and build your own games with their own rules. The figures are from black and white to draw what their creativity allows. In this project, the graphic identity, packaging and toy pieces were designed. Developed during my academic exchange at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. May 2010, Valencia, Spain.







BATSI_ Batsi was the ďŹ nal project of my bachelor degree. I developed a research on the Huichol (Mexican indigenous people). Based on this research, I developed a graphic identity for a brand of toys that express their culture through play. The creative idea was to extract the most important symbol: the eye of God and turn it into an icon for the brand, in a playful manner and childish way. Developed during my bachelor degree at ITESO. May 2011, Guadalajara, Mexico.

HELI_ Heli was a new sub brand of shirts by Bigbang. The idea was to create a corporate uniform for creative industry professionals, inspired by elements of nature. The creative idea was developed with real people who are passionate about their jobs and professions. The project involved the conceptualization, creation of graphic identity and digital and print media campaign. Developed as part of my work in BIGBANG. EL CIELO_ El Cielo is an artisan bakery based in Guadalajara, Mexico. The project was the development of its brand identity from graphic to graphic applications, uniforms and packaging. The creative idea was based on transmitting the concept of "cielo" which means sky, through a friendly and warm image to invite people to try these delights that “taste like heaven�.

AIRE LIBRE_ Aire Libre was a product design project, developed as part of the Diploma of Product Design and Development program. The project involved the development of the parts, prototyping, molding and shaping a child's playground for outdoors. The proposal was developed based on the need to propose new ways for children to play outdoors. It is a game where children can build different structures based on three pieces that are easy to assemble. Developed as part of the Diploma in Product Design and Development. October 2012, Guadalajara, Mexico.




PROTAL_ Protal is a trademark that commercialize natural products and health from Guadalajara. The projected was to redesign their products images and their packaging. The idea was to communicate the brand as a fresh, young brand to create a better marketplace.

PALANTE_ Palante was a project for a new brand of tequila tequila that offered high quality-high price for a sophisticated market. The idea was to create a formal, simple and elegant graphic identity that expresses the essence of contemporary and traditional tequila in the same concept.

ISS International Student Services


ISS_ ISS was a project for a contest of the international association of students at McGill University. This proposal won ďŹ rst place. The creative idea was to create a logo that expresses the diversity of foreigners, that arrive to McGill, through the variety of colors and shapes. They symbolize the opportunities that each McGill student has to develop their potential to the fullest. The spiral represents the personal growth that we all are pursuing by dealing with various challenges and overcoming them. Developed as an independent project, sharing credits with Ken Morales H. January 2014, Montreal, CA.





VIA VERDE DEL MARIACHI_ This was a project in collaboration with the Government of Jalisco. It was about recovering the obsolete railway tracks to turn them into bike paths. My participation in this project was the analysis of space, communication and graphic the design of street furniture. The project won a national award given by Manuel Gamio INAH (From National Anthropology and History Institute) in 2013. Developed as part of my bachelor program at ITESO.
