Southeast Idaho offers a multitude of recreational activities, including hot springs, watersports, horse and hiking trails in the warm weather, and ice fishing, snowmobiling, and skiing in the winter. Indoor activities include casinos, breweries, and performing arts. Nearby, you will find the National Oregon/ California Trail Center depicting the 2,000-mile trek on the Oregon Trail. Additionally, visit the Bear Lake National Wildlife Refuge’s 18,000 acres of cattail marsh, open water, and flooded meadows provide an up-close look at local waterfowl and migratory birds.

Bear Lake lies around 20 minutes from Diamond Heart Ranch. Travel on the lake, and you will eventually cross the state line into Utah. The Wyoming state border is a little over a half-hour away from the ranch.
