PRIME TIME Leona General Store

Always a treat to eat a Leona General Store steak supper and we have been blessed to be able to provide this eating experience for more times than we can remember. Maybe “The General Store” owner, Jerry House can recall. Another blessing in our lives is the friendship we have with Jerry, his family, and General Store crew. In January, 2023 The Houston Chronicle came out with a list of the “Top Nine Places to Eat Between Houston and Dallas.” From the thousands of choices between these two points The Leona General Store made that lofty and elite Top Nine ranking. This blends right in with their feature on The Texas Bucket List, spot in Texas Monthly, Trip Advisor and Yelp ranking at nearly Five Stars over hundreds and hundreds of reviews, and a Five Star ranking from Restaurant Guru. The list goes on with their honors. We’ve been proud to call Jerry friend, and proud to witness the evolution of The General Store over the last two decades!
