Expect Opportunities!

30 Your opportunities aren’t over! God is situating things, people, resources, for your benefit. The word OPPORTUNITY means a combination of circumstances favorable for the purpose. So we need to lay hold of the reality that God is setting things up that are favorable for our purpose. You have a purpose and God wants to help you fulfill it. In order for this to take place it will take the right opportunities. But when the opportunities present themselves, be ready to act, be ready to seize them because if a person isn’t ready when they come then it’s too late to get ready. If we are to expect opportunities to come our way then we should be ready. Another definition for the

OPPORTUNITY is a good occasion to advance oneself. Well the number one person we want to advance is God, but He loves us so much that He wants to help us advance in life. When we have the right behavior when opportunities come then it will produce the right results in our life. OPPORTUNITY also means the best time for anything. God knows when the best time for something to take place in our life is. He knows the best time for the dream, the promotion, for that relationship and for things to come together for His will to be accomplished on earth as it is in Heaven. So let’s trust His timing and His wisdom. Let’s believe and expect for His will to come to pass at the right time.

Habakkuk 2:3 says, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behind hand on its appointed day.” Let’s know that the OPPORTUNITIES that God is bringing our way all fit together to help us fulfill our purpose. They are good occasions to advance Him and to advance our life as well. These opportunities will be at the best time for things to come together. Our God is a good God, and He wants good opportunities for us. Matthew 7:11 says, “If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good and advantageous things to those who keep on asking Him!” That sounds like OPPORTUNITY to me. A lot of times people don’t think that they have the opportunities that other people have, but in reality God gives everyone opportunities. The difference is that some people are ready when they appear and other people aren’t ready. Which one are you?

OPPORTUNITIES are coming, so expect them and be ready when they present themselves!
