Guaranteed Breeders
Dr. Steve Schultz has done a stringent BSE (Breeding Soundness Evaluation) on every bull in this sale. Each bull selling has passed Dr. Schultz’s tests and is considered a satisfactory and potential breeder. All bulls are guaranteed as breeding bulls through the first breeding season. If a problem should arise, please contact any of the above numbers and we will offer a replacement bull of equal or greater quality. If a replacement bull is not available when needed, a credit will be issued for Mound Creek’s 2023 Bull Sale.
Livestock Transportation
Livestock transportation will be available at the most affordable rates we can arrange on buyer’s behalf.

Retaining Rights to One Embryo Flush
To simplify our female sale we will not retain breeding or embryo interests in any female in this sale. However, if any female goes into embryo production in her future, Mound Creek will retain the rights on every female in the sale to one embryo collection or IVF oocyte harvest at our expense.
Heifer Breeding Option
Mound Creek Ranch will offer to keep any heifer sold in this sale for a prearranged breeding period to AI to any available Mound Creek herd sire and then breed said heifer to Mound Creek natural service sires. If interested in this program please contact ranch staff or marketing team to understand payment terms and details for this Heifer Breeding Option.
Herd Health
All cattle have been inspected for health and fertility by our veterinarian, are current with annual vaccinations and come with interstate health papers.
Cattle Load Out
Cattle can be loaded out during and after the sale. We ask that any pot-sized loads wait until the conclusion of the sale. We will load out cattle on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and ask that each buyer inform the clerks of your desire to load out on Sunday along with an approximate time of arrival. If you require a load out on another day, please inform the clerks as to your desired date and time.
Can’t make the sale? To watch or bid online, just complete the following steps: 1. At www.dvauction.com click on the “Create New Account” tab 2. Follow the instructions to set up a new account. 3. Click on “Apply for Bidding” at least 24 hours prior to the sale. DVAuction will contact you once you have been approved to bid. A buyer’s number will not be provided until you have made a purchase. 4. After the sale, contact Cattle Brokers, Inc. to make arrangements for payment and transportation. Please note: High speed internet access is required to be able to bid. Proxy bidding: If you can’t bid online, place a “proxy” bid through DVAuction. Follow the above steps and click the “Proxy Bidding” link under the sale listing. You can then place your maximum amount that you’d like to bid.
