Computational Design series 1
What is Computational Design?
Computational design is the discipline of applying computational approaches to design problems, whether related to presentation, analysis or aesthetic expressions.
Morphosis: Phare Tower / Eno Henze: The Human Factor Satoru Sugihara presented his computational design work for Morphosis, in particular the Phare Tower in Paris. Eno Henze, a generative artist, shows a conceptual depth combined with a great attention to formal composition.
EIFFEL_DNA, generative design for extension of Eiffel Tower The Eiffel Tower WINNING ENTERY was produced through a generative design process
2D DESIGN(Computer Aided Design) TO 3D DESIGN(Computational Design) shift in design thinking and method of the 21st century.
With the homemade 3D printer It doesn’t have the geometry limitation and messiness of other homemade 3D printers Nervous System jewelry Inspired by the vein structures that carry fluids through organisms from the leaves of plants to our own circulatory systems,
