CHAMPIONING DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION FOR ALL
The Foundation is wholeheartedly committed to championing diversity and inclusion, which is reflected in the programmes we run under our Everyone And Anyone pillar, as well as our wider work.
Our flagship Diversity Wins programme was the first of its kind in the UK when it launched in 2018 and was delivered to 790 primary pupils this season. The initiative, which is run in partnership with Glasgow City Council, teaches P6s and 7s about discrimination and prejudice, stereotyping and employability. There is a focus on the different skills sets required to do different jobs, promotion of equality and issues faced by the LGBT+ community, in line with the school curriculum.

Autism Friendly Football and Visually Impaired Football sessions continue to be of huge benefit to young people who might otherwise be unable to enjoy mainstream football. The sessions provide an opportunity to have fun, become more physically active, develop life skills and raise confidence and self-esteem. Our expert coaches work with the young people to develop their skills and the tailored sessions also provide respite and social connection for parents and carers. This year, our autism football team also went on to win the Autism Scottish Cup!

The best project for children with visual impairments that we have been involved in. It has been a real confidence builder for my son in terms of physical activity and has helped with his fitness and football skills. Fantastic coaches and a close-knit group that is welcoming to anyone who comes along.
Foundation were proud once again to take part in the annual MardiGla event in Glasgow. The Foundation was also delighted to pick up the gong in the Community Ally category at the Proud Scotland awards in recognition of its support for LGBTQ+ equality.
