Would you like to improve your freestyling skills? I have some techniques that I will share with you today that will do just that. If you use both of these techniques, you will be amazed at how your skills will improve. Technique #1 - Read A Rhyming Dictionary: One of the best investments you can make is taking the time to purchase a rhyming dictionary. One of the best investments in time that you can make is to spend time reading through this dictionary. You can purchase one of these from an online website, from a brick and mortar store or you can borrow one from the library. This is a fantastic tool that will help you to develop your freestyle vocabulary and help you to recognize new words that you can rhyme with. Technique #2 - Use A Rhyming Dictionary: Website If you don't want to purchase one, there is a great rhyming dictionary website located at http://www.rhymer.com. You can enter a word in and then it will show you a complete list of words that rhyme with that specific word. You can choose to find words that rhyme at the end of the word, that rhyme at the last syllable of the word, that rhyme at the beginning of the word, that rhyme at the first syllable of the word and that double rhymes. Technique #3 - How To Use Rhymer.com: Here is an exercise that you can do that will help you to improve your freestyle vocabulary. You want to pick a word and then type that word into rhymer.com. It will return you a list of words. You want to spend a minimum of 10 minutes a day for 21-31 days freestyling using each of the words in this list. You want to make sure that you freestyle using these words along with your instrumental beats. At the end of the 31 days, you will find that your freestyling vocabulary will be better and you will have new words that you can incorporate into your rhyme and flow. You will find that your freestyle skills will double or triple in effectiveness. This is an extremely powerful tool that you can use to improve your freestyle skills and become an effective freestyler.
