L FOCUS IN TEXTILE COLLECTION BY SUZANNE TICK FOR LUUM TEXTILES

Technology continues to redefine the way we engage, think and feel about interior spaces. The traditional modes of interaction in offices, schools and hotels are being transformed through new tools that enable rapid communication. With advancements in technology encouraging mobility and flexibility in workspaces, the importance of adaptable products is addressed through the Focus In collection. Multi-purpose environments that offer interchangeable work, meeting and social areas are now the norm. The aesthetic and performance qualities of products specified within these fluid spaces require an agility that supports a range of activities. The Focus In collection designed by Suzanne Tick for Luum offers a collection of seven fabrics that reflect this nimble attitude.

NAVIGATE UPHOLSTERY BY SUZANNE TICK FOR LUUM TEXTILES

A bright line of thought led us to Navigate. Echoing architectural structures and grids, the embroidered pattern is a marriage of hand and machine processes. A fine, stitched line subtly fades in and out across a variegated ground capturing the spirit of a fluid and active environment. Navigate addresses the need for sound-absorbing materials by utilizing as its base cloth, Heather Felt, a 100 percent felted wool.

KNURL UPHOLSTERY BY SUZANNE TICK FOR LUUM TEXTILES

As the distinction between our work, home and social activities continues to dissolve, Knurl is a textural upholstery fabric that comfortably lives in a contract or residential setting. The straightforward weave structure allows thick, knubby rows of polyester yarns to shine. The exaggerated texture provides opportunities to create visual interest through texture and color. The palette offers saturated chartreuse and teal, as well as fiery reds and a range of sophisticated neutrals.

OUTPRESS UPHOLSTERY BY SUZANNE TICK FOR LUUM TEXTILES

Whether at work or play, both visible and invisible systems map our movements. Outpress draws inspiration from paths that guide us towards focusing our energies on a specific activity or goal. Curvilinear accent lines join and split across fields of heathered yarns evoking architectural structures. Achieving 105,000 double rubs, Outpress is a statement pattern that provides just enough color to complement any product and interior.

AMALGAM UPHOLSTERY BY SUZANNE TICK FOR LUUM TEXTILES

Drawing upon the innovative material advancements within the athletic industry, Amalgam is woven with fibers that are also used in footwear. The multi-colored, marled yarns are tightly woven to achieve 100,000 double rubs, embodying the hybridization of high-end and performance qualities typically required in sportswear.

MICA SHIFT WALLCOVERING BY SUZANNE TICK FOR LUUM TEXTILES

Utilizing a lustrous tape yarn, Mica Shift brings new light into a space through a textural weave. The tape yarn floats against a matte ground weave offered in bright whites, warm neutrals and cool silvers. Joining the group of vertical fabrics incorporating tape yarns, this direct-glue product adds an organic yet technical element to an interior.

TECHNOPLAID WRAPPED WALL AND PANEL BY SUZANNE TICK FOR LUUM TEXTILES

As transparency continues to be demanded and valued, privacy and personal space becomes a luxury. Darker, moodier color palettes typically seen in hospitality settings are moving into the workplace to provide spaces of respite and comfort. Addressing this need, Technoplaid is a contemporary, large-scale plaid, with a metallic accent fiber, for use as wrapped wall and panel. The colorline offers dark hues in Wireframe and Nano, as well as bright neutrals in Ultra and Meta.

T IxD SERIES MODULAR CARPET COLLECTION BY SUZANNE TICK FOR TANDUS CENTIVA

IxD Series brings classic high style from Tandus Centiva and Suzanne Tick. IxD is another term for Interaction Design, which is the the practice of designing interactive digital products, environments, systems, and services with a focus on human behavior, and how users react and respond to an interface. Similarly, interior designers and architects consider aspects of how an environment will impact the actions and reactions of people within a space. The modular carpet series is also informed by the interactive connection between work and play, and the proliferation of collaborative spaces within multiple segments and sub-segments. Perfect for large workplace opportunities, IxD Series also offers colored accent tiles with Output for branding for Acute Care, and Input as Powerbond for Higher Ed. The third style Optic has a plush residential-like aesthetic that is combined with commercial performance, a twisted berber with tip-shear and a chunky texture. Intuitive styling allows these designs to be used over and over again, and made to look different in every installation by mixing tiles sizes and gradating colors into different tile layouts. There is also a tip-sheared Powerbond option with Input. IxD Series comes in 3 different styles and price points. Input is an all-over texture created by a unique yarn twist with a subtle patterning that comes and goes, created by a light tip-shear. Output is an all-loop construction with the same “ground” colors as Input and a complex accent stripe characterized by combinations of bright and neutral yarns. Output was designed for 9’’x36’’ plank and is great for school or branding colors and co-creation. Optic is run on a wide gauge tufting machine to add volume and even more luxurious tip-shear, with areas of speckled yarns to create a pixelated look that comes and goes across the width. An overall color palette of warm and cool neutrals can be used to gradate the floor plane from light to dark, and Output provides bold color accents including sky blues, a deep teal, a crisp yellow, rich orange and true red.

PROGRESSION TRANSITION POWERBOND CARPET BY SUZANNE TICK FOR TANDUS CENTIVA

Progression is a classic speckle using barber-poled yarns that is enhanced by energetic infusions of color, and with Progression Transition the speckle is blended slowly over a 6 foot width to shift into a neutral grey. Progression Transition can also shift back from grey to color, and used in combination with Progression can build out any imaginable space. When Progression is combined with Progression Transition, it becomes possible to build the floor to become almost topological with wide swaths of color that transform over the course of many footfalls.

S TRANSCEND ARCHITECTURAL GLASS BY SUZANNE TICK FOR SKYLINE DESIGN

Skyline Design introduces Transcend by award winning textile designer Suzanne Tick. Transcend responds to changes in how we use and experience space today, as we seamlessly transition from one spatial function to the next— _between interior and exterior, from public to private, from open to quiet areas. Transcend innovates as it allows six etched and printed patterns on glass to intersect, overlap or fade using different techniques, thus facilitating a fluid experience of interior environments. Transcend may be executed in a variety of techniques, with translucent, and transparent options, allowing for different degrees of translucency and privacy while accommodating a broad pricing spectrum. The six patterns may be used individually or layered in combinations. Customization of scale, color, and technique are also encouraged. All patterns are available in sizes up to 60” x 120” and in standard glass thicknesses.

SHIFT GRID AND LINEAL FADE

ARCHITECTURAL GLASS BY SUZANNE TICK FOR SKYLINE DESIGN

Transcend consists of three fading geometrics: Angled Mesh, Shift Grid, Lineal Fade and three technical textures: Disperse, Diffuse and Integrate that relate the collection to the materiality and construction of buildings. The subtle fading and textural variations found in brick, stone, and metal informed the collection’s development and were digitally reinterpreted through Skyline Design’s glass techniques. Shift Grid is a shifting geometric grid pattern with lines that appear and disappear. The pattern achieves a large-scale effect while maintaining a smaller scale regularity. Lineal Fade is an irregular fading stripe pattern that can be used horizontally or vertically depending on the desired effect and use.

Each of three neutral color ways contains nuanced tonalities that parallel natural effects.
