THE GILDED BIRD

If your reading this then you may well be pregnant ... Or maybe your baby is already here... Either way, congratulations and welcome to parenthood!

Here comes spring… welcome to the ‘spring edition’, you might have picked me up in-store or maybe at The Baby Show and you got us in your spectacular goody bag. However, you found us, welcome.

This edition is filled to the brim with great articles, ranging from how to make the most of your maternity leave to fashion for kids.

Ideally, you’d have half an idea what to expect when attending any appointments but especially antenatal appointments, it allows you to anticipate, and prepare any questions you need answered. I suggest you write these down, it’s ridiculously easy to forget in the moment in amongst all of the other maternal pressures you are preparing for. All of our advice, beautifully crafted by our resident Midwife Louise Broadbridge ‘The Honest Midwife’ - the expert in this field - we’ve sorted you right out! Page 38.

Ever heard of ‘toy rotation’? Me neither. Toy rotation can be a misleading concept, so (if like myself when I first heard) you are confused by the term, fear not and turn to page 28.

It’s our turn!! Put those overworked feet up, and enjoy this Mother’s Day. (DADS!!) check out our mini guide on page 35 of some top gifts for Mum. Since Quincy started writing and drawing I’m drawn to the Merci Maman personalised necklaces, if it’s their first piece of writing or that special drawing these make the perfect keepsake, capturing those special moments.

Everyone’s favourite: Molly Mae was recently spotted showcasing the new ‘iCandy 7 Biscotti’ we have put together our Top 5 travel systems making picking that perfect pushchair that bit easier. Page 58.

At a time when every penny counts, we managed to wangle some exclusive discounts just for you. Page 63.

We hope you enjoy this edition and don’t forget to pick up your May edition in WHSmith, Waitrose or over 300 independent newsagents nationwide. Don’t forget to join us on Instagram @projectbabymagazine for weekly competitions.

Happy Reading
