Abstraction Khartoum’s museum of modern arts (k-moma) is located in Khartoum-sudan, facing the nile river on its southern front, it’s located in tuti island at the heart of Khartoum city, the design is an abstraction of the Sudanese native “haraz ” tree, the exhibitions are designed and placed vertically and extended horizontally representing the groups of leaves we find in the tree, the structural system is a well defined, externally shown Diagrid structure, to reflect the branches mechanism in the tree, visitors circulate vertically throughout the building moving from an exhibition to another resembling the act of climbing a tree, several outdoor exhibitions and other functions like restaurants, amphitheatre, auditorium, a library and an education center are found in the project.

Abstraction The soda drinks factory is located in the industrial area in southern Khartoum, the project objective was to create a design that is both modern and energy efficient, and to distribute the space of the triangular shaped site efficiently on the given functions and components, my design was based on pure deconstruction of volumes, and on structural clarity to reflect the industrial nature of the project. Many energy efficient/sustainable power techniques has been used throughout the building, the production hall stands at the center of the project, with other components like the end product/raw materials warehouses, the employee facilities and the administration buildings surrounding it.

A new approach on model making
Abstract This was my first year’s final project, a recreational building and a modern architecture masterpiece, the project focused on the model making and the aesthetics more, and challenged me to offer new ways to design buildings and spaces, it was inspired from life forms we find under the sea to better reflect the nature of the project .

Abstract: This was one of the projects i worked at during my work as an Architect at ASD Architects office in Riyadh, The Project is a large Family Resedential Complex that consisted of a Main Villa, a Club House, a Dewaneya, horse stables, Guest Houses and Four small villas that belonged to the owner's four sons, The Project is located at a family owned farm in a mountain east of Riyadh, the firm's duty was to come up with a design for the mountains landscape and the buildings that better suited the mountain's environment.
My duties in this project were: 1- Full design work on the four smaller villas. I had to Provide several design proposals for the villas to the client in order to choose from, my design proposals focused on different design philosophies ranging from classical proposals to modern architecture. 2- Coordinitaing with senior architects on spaces utilization and plans modification. 3- Creating the mountain's countor environment in 3d and placing the buildings and the landscape into the created environment. 4- Participate in meetings with the client and his family to illustrate and explain various design philosiphies and changes. 5- Participate in design development after approval from the client and specifications/working drawings work. 6- Conduct site visits to scan and monitor the environment and supervise on survey engineers to ensure accurate area calculations.
