Explanation to the current book Aleksandr Solženitsõn wrote a literary research about the Soviet forced labour camps called The GULAG ARCHIPELAGO. This inspired me to write and draw MOLITVÕ, PRAYERS. I think whosever flicks through, looks at and reads the texts-pictures of my prayer book can again deeply perceive the insane and pointless crime of the huge GULAG, the still frightening, timeless horror of this immense sin. The task of atoning for the suffering and injustice of people in those camps rests on emphatic people of today. Evil happened not only in the GULAG. All calamity and suffering and atonement is ours, ours, ours...
