WELCOME
WELCOME to The Club at Ravenna. We are proud and honored to be partnering with the Infinite Hero Foundation to host the 7th Annual Ravenna Invitational. The community at Ravenna has a long-held tradition of honoring the service and sacrifices of our military heroes through The Ravenna Invitational benefiting Infinite Hero Foundation (IHF). The funds raised at our last event assisted IHF in providing critical access to essential Kevin Collins programs for our military heroes and their families throughout 2020, when mental health services were more Kevin and Dawn Collins important than ever. As a community we can take pride in the fact that with our support, Infinite Hero and their program partners swiftly took action to ensure uninterrupted care for our veterans, pivoting vital services to accessible and virtual platforms. The pandemic has besieged the veterans’ sector, with many health providers scaling down services or closing their doors on mental health care for veterans and their families. With more veterans than ever requesting treatment and support for PTSD, traumatic brain injury and other invisible wounds, Infinite Hero remains committed to investing funds raised throughout 2021 to connect our military, veterans, and military family members with innovative and effective treatment programs for service-related injuries. In 2014, The Club at Ravenna hosted their First Annual Ravenna Invitational golf tournament to benefit the Infinite Hero, raising more than $1.8 million in its first six years. The IHF has invested over $4.75 million to fund treatment programs to combat the most difficult front-line issues, mental and physical, facing our military heroes and their families. Today will be honoring and celebrating the strength, resilience, and leadership of our Nations Heroes at the 7th Annual Ravenna Invitational as we come together as a community to provide our veterans and their families with access to vital, life-changing services. Thank you for standing together in support of our cherished cause and assuring a community that is too often forgotten that Ravenna remembers. To our veterans, your families and all who work to create the Ravenna Invitational, thank you. It truly takes a community and we’re delighted to be part of yours. Enjoy the 7th Annual Ravenna Invitational! Sincerely, Kevin and Dawn Collins, Co-Chairmen/Event Hosts Courtney Janes, Executive Director, Infinite Hero Foundation Courtney Janes

RON PASTINO SERVED AS A SERGEANT IN THE US ARMY SERGEANT – STATION COMMANDER NEW YORK STATE POLICE SPECIAL OPERATIONS (RET.)
Ron Pastino served 6 Years in the Army serving as a Sergeant during his time in service. Following his time in the Army, Ron went on to work as a municipal Police Officer in New York for 1 year and then joined the New York State Police. After his patrol time, he got selected onto the State tactical unit known as the Special Operations Response Team (SORT). SORT was responsible for statewide tactical response. After Pastino’s operator time, he was promoted to Station Commander NCOIC New York State Police SORT, where he led a team of 55 and was responsible for Safety and Operational planning, administration, and executing continuity of operations. During a 21-year NYSP career, Ron accumulated extensive law enforcement credentials and program management experience. He was responsible for developing strategies to promote improved operational safety for SORT Operators. Ron has extensive experience supervising teams of over 100 or more Law Enforcement personnel in critical incidents statewide. He believes in total collaboration between agencies and is a fan of utilizing joint task forces during critical incidents. Some of his most notable responses include The World Trade Center Terrorist Attack, where Ron spent 7 months on the “Pile” performing recovery operations and sensitive security assignments. Multiple Active Shooter events, high profile manhunts, including the FBI Top Ten fugitive capture of Bucky Phillips, Danamora Prison escape, numerous anti-terrorism operations and other high-profile operations. Ron is a big believer in “outside the box” thinking and problem solving. He learned how to keep a unit resilient and focused while working through some very tough times. Unfortunately, Ron has witnessed many tragedies, including losing multiple teammates and experiencing serious injuries causing permanent disabilities. Prolonged exposure at Ground Zero left him with emphysema and inflammatory lung disease eventually causing him to lose a large amount of his right lung. In 2016 Pastino was forced to retire from the job he loved, causing emotional and financial strain on him and his family. From multiple years of service, Ron has a TBI and has been diagnosed with PTS. Ron is proactive, motivated and will not give up on his health and families well-being. After entering the Boot Campaign’s Health and Wellness pipeline, a program that Infinite Hero helps to fund, Ron has learned skills to reduce stress, increase resilience and continues to address whole-body and mind health holistically. Ron now does corporate coaching, consulting, and leadership training for Government and Civilian organizations internationally—passing on the tough lessons he has learned to inspire and motivate others, teaching them perseverance and the power of resilience.

WE BREAK BOUNDARIES. The mission of Infinite Hero Foundation is to combat the most difficult front line issues – mental and physical – facing military heroes and their families. OUR PLEDGE Infinite Hero’s pledge to those who have risked their lives is to reward their sacrifice and bravery with support that articulates our gratitude. We partner with like-minded organizations to provide access to innovative rehabilitation programs that address the unique needs of veterans and their families. The measure of our impact is positive outcomes, not merely gestures. Like the heroes we serve, we refuse to shy away from a challenge. Where boundaries exist, we will plow through them. Where strategies and solutions have not yet been found, we will create them. We will marshal the resources of technology, community, medical research and mental health care to foster collaborative innovation and affect positive change for our heroes in need. OUR FIVE PILLARS: PHYSICAL REHABILITATION
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
BRAIN HEALTH
FAMILY SUPPORT
SUICIDE PREVENTION
Mental and physical health issues are real challenges that our military and veterans face. We carefully vet and financially support organizations who can help with expenses, physical therapy and more.
Our military outputs some of the best leaders in our country. We research and fund initiatives that provide the resources they need to hone those skills to continue to make an impact.
PTSD is the silent impact of war and deployment, but it’s also one of the most important issues to remedy. We work to pilot new initiatives for individuals who return home with PTSD, brain injury or other mental injuries.
Deployment and war affects the family as well. At Infinite Hero Foundation, we provide resources for organizations who support spouses, children and parents in managing the dayto-day.
Life is important. We understand that our military and veterans have sacrificed mentally and physically for our country. We believe it’s our job to continue to support innovation to ensure they get the support they need to heal.
WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES
EVERY DOLLAR RAISED during this event from sponsors, golfers, auction winners and donors directly impacts the lives of our military heroes and their families…and every dollar counts. Your generosity has provided access to innovative and effective treatment programs for service related injuries, advancing and improving the lives of those served by Infinite Hero and its partners. Here are some examples of what your donations help make possible: $30,000: Purchases one iBOT advanced mobility device for a Veteran. $10,000: Funds one Veteran at the Brain Treatment Center (BCT) with up to 66 treatments; providing immediate support and treatment to combat Veterans suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and severe Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) resulting from combat tours. The BTC provides an innovative treatment (MeRT) for a variety of neurological disorders. The BTC aims to address many of the most challenging aspects of PTS/TBI by targeting underlying physiological abnormalities in the brain. $5,000: Will help 5 struggling heroes and their family members overcome the effects of the invisible and physical wounds of war as part of the AMFGY6 Bringing-It-Home project by providing direct services and building leadership. Examples of services include boots on the ground response teams in suicidal situations, counseling for the individual and all key people in their lives, strength mental fitness training, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) sessions. $3,500: Gives one military hero access to the Save A Warrior (SAW) Cohort Support program, an innovative, week-long, residential experience for veterans, active-duty military and first responders living with post-traumatic stress (PTS) and who are experiencing psychological traumas. $1,000: Provides individualized veteran assessments and interventions, employs state-of-the-art HRV technology to veterans, and uses HRV to support improvements within the whole military family through Boot Campaign’s Health & Wellness − Heart Rate Variability Training.
