NATURAL ORNAMENTAL PLANTS The interior natural ornamental plants are considered as being the most beautiful elements of interior decoration in homes and offices as it imparts joy and pleasure on one’s life because of its beauty and as it gives the place spirit and life. Some of these plants work on purifying the air and others work on adding the fragrant smell in the atmosphere; therefore, many people want to acquire these plants in their homes and offices to ease the stress of everyday life and to make them feel happy. Each of who acquires or wish to acquire the natural interior plants shall know a set of information pertaining to these plants and taking care of them:
1
The main reason for the death of ornamental plants is watering it with excessive water quantities beyond its acceptable limit, read perfectly the acceptable quantity for each plant.
4
The plants are slow to adjust to the environment in which they grow, so don’t move them very much and think of an appropriate place for them to keep them stable without moving with the hope of better growth.
2
7
The house plants need light, water and warmth permanently, so do not forget to take always care of them, even in the weekly vacations do not ignore them, and if you plan to travel for a period, think of someone who will take care of your plants in the home to maintain its growth and activity.
3
Always think about feeding your plants with the appropriate fertilizer, consult the arboretum employee about the nature of the appropriate fertilizer for your plant, and don’t use a lot of it as you may believe that more is useful.
6
If the areas of your home or apartment are small, think of vertical plants and don’t think of horizontal ones that need more areas.
Prune (trim) your plants periodically to maintain its growth and to help them stay fresh and renewed, and learn how to prune them before doing this step in order to avoid hurting your plants
5
The house plants ease the tension, so think seriously to own them and reduce obtaining them if you were not able to take care of them very well, but at least try to acquire them to feel the difference.
8
Visit the agricultural arboretum specialized in the sale of house plants to increase your knowledge of them and their kinds, and ask about the educational books to become more familiar with basic matters about plants to preserve them.

Jazz music plays lightly in the living room, dining room and foyer, setting a relaxing mood; in the basement, the kids entertain themselves listening to Top 40 hits and playing video games; during dinner they’re getting a little too rowdy, so you lower the volume from your Android™ phone.
You’re watching TV in bed at night. You’re ready to go to sleep. Better Homes - Jordan signs real-estates agreement with
THE GREATEST REAL-ESTATES DEVELOPERS IN GREECE Real-Estate BetterHomes Company – Jordan represented by its general manager Eng. Sulaiman Dawood has signed a cooperation agreement with the Greek Cypriot Cyfield Company for Real-Estates Development which owns a large group of complexes, villas and residential and commercial apartments in addition to the lands and these distinctive projects are distributed unevenly between Greece and Cyprus.
This agreement aims at marketing these real-estates for the Jordanian public in general and the residents of Jordan of venture capitalists from Arab and foreign nationalities who are seeking distinctive opportunities for transport and accommodation in Jordan, Greece and Cyprus because these three countries are considered as a gateway to Europe, especially after the Greek and Cypriot law has facilitated the residency and nationality transactions of real-estates owners from expatriates on its territories of insignificant prices and a lifetime validity, and these residencies allow the free transport inside Europe in general and it is also efficient with all the different nationalities.
This agreement is considered a quantum leap in BetterHomes projects where it has become a reference for those looking for distinctive investment opportunities inside Jordan and outside it, especially after it has announced recently its intention to initiate cooperation with a group of real-estates developers in Britain, Turkey and some other countries.

THE ART OF INSTALLING Many of us do not know that installing shelves on the walls is an art which has a distinct manner and you can’t ignore it, often when we want to install some shelves on the wall we do not make an effort to think about the appropriate way to do that and we only care about installing the panels vertically only.
SHELVES ON THE WALLS
Farewell to this random approach, it is time to follow the thoughtful ways taken from the decor schools for how to achieve the required balance and harmony when installing shelves on the wall.
The distances between shelves Before starting to install shelves on the wall, you first need to determine the different distances between each shelf and its equivalent at both the horizontal and vertical level, with an attempt to imagine the distances that have been selected to be convenient when arranging the things on these shelves.
One of the mistakes made by a housewife when placing the shelves on the wall, is the non-imagination of the final shape of the shelves after finishing the placing process, so she finds that she had left a small space between each shelf and the other, which makes longitudinal things can’t be absorbed on the shelves, or that the shelves are crowded with things in no likeable way due to not distributing the shelves in an appropriate engineering method.

Art
of
shelves
Different sizes of shelves
For small shelves and similar things
When you install a shelf longer than its equivalent vertically where the longer shelf is down and the shorter one is right above it, you should in this case achieve the balance in the final image by putting one of the things at the end of the long shelf where it shall take a longitudinal form, for example to be an elegant image frame, as the access of the top frame side to the upper and shorter shelf gives an indication that the two shelves are equal in length.
In case if the shelves that you have are with small distances, and at the same time you would like to fill it with things of big sizes and certain shapes, and so that the matter wouldn’t seem a repletion for the viewers, you have to arrange each two similar things in a reverse way so that each piece will be against the other piece similar to it. To break the stereotype, you can add a different piece in one of the shelves, such as crystal dish or a bottle.
The balance in the colors One of the easy ways to achieve the visual balance between two installed shelves on the wall is placing one of the things with the same color on the two shelves, for example, you can fold towels with orange color along with arranging them on the two shelves by putting two towels on the upper shelf and two similar ones on the lower shelf so that they would seem similar for whoevers looks at them.
The lengths of things Even if the things determined to be arranged on the shelves are not important or valuable, you have to arrange them all together to get an elegant view of decor at the end.

Dinars is the financial leasing
VOLUME IN THE KINGDOM The Jordanian Association for Financial Leasing Companies in coordination with the Department of Lands and Survey has held a workshop on financial leasing and its importance for the Jordanian economy. The workshop was opened by the Director General of the Department of Lands and Survey Eng. Moeen Al-Sayegh and the Head of the Jordanian Association for Financial Leasing Companies Amjad AlSaeh in the presence of 70 employees from the staff of the Department of Lands and Survey concerned with the nature of the financial leasing transactions.
At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Sayegh has spoken about the importance of holding such workshops in collaboration with the department partners which constitutes a communication link with its customers and makes the staff aware of the financial leasing law and clarifies the mechanism in which the financial leasing transactions are being carried out.
Al-Saeh has pointed out to the presence of about 12 companies dealing with financial leasing in Jordan, including 7 companies owned by banks and 5 companies that are not owned by banks as well as 4 Islamic banks indicating that the volume of financial leasing in Jordan amounts to around one billion and 200 million dinars, and that 80% of this amount is dedicated for real-estate financing.
For his part, the head of the association Amjad Al-Saeh has submitted a detailed presentation about the importance of financial leasing for the Jordanian economy.
The participants discussed all items that are related to the financial leasing law in order to raise awareness of how to conduct the financial leasing transactions in the directorates of Land Registration Department.

Low oil prices & real-estates Saudi Arabia As being considered as the largest global oil producer, the oil constitutes 90% of the income of Saudi Arabia government. As a result, it is expected that the country will receive a big blow as a result of lower prices, as the American City Bank predicted a decline in spending value equivalent of 241 billion dollars this year, a decline of up to 18% for 2014. With respect to the real-estates sector, the Kingdom tries currently to address the problem of shortage of housing units of approximately one million units, as a result of the significant rise in the population.
46 Better Homes June 2015
M A R K E T S
Qatar It is expected that the current oil prices decline will leave a little impact on Qatar, where the country is trying to diversify its economy, in addition to its traditional role as an exporter of gas and oil. As a result, the growth of investment in infrastructure and real-estates development will continue, which will therefore lead to continued growth in the realestates market in the state. Also the strong economic outlook for the country with a growth rate expected to reach 7.7% means the continuity of expenditure on infrastructure and reconstruction. In fact, the major forces affecting the real-estates sector expected the stability of rents in the country due to the increased supply at the same time it continues to work on large projects such as the Lucille city.
Nigeria The crude oil constitutes 70% of the income of Nigeria, for this, any decline in oil prices leaves the biggest impact on the main source of the state income and thus on its economy ,and not only that, most of the real-estate development projects in the state receive funding from the government, which means, therefore, that the amounts available for that field will become less. As a result, Mr. Obi Aigemovo, CEO of Lamudi Company – Nigeria, has expected that the growth movement of housing projects will slow down outside Nigeria›s big cities; he added: «The question now is: Are the oil prices will remain low or whether it will rise again within 12 months, this is the main factor that determines the degree of impact on the real-estates in the long run.»

Oil&Real-estates
The impact of the decline in oil prices on real-estates in five emerging markets
The world has witnessed in the recent months a severe decline in oil prices which has resulted in imposing pressure on the energy-exporting countries which rely on oil as a major source of income. In the period between June and January, the crude oil prices have declined by an exceptional percentage reached 60%. The oil experts expect, including Mr. W Rex Tillerson, CEO of Exxon Mobil Company, that the prices of oil will maintain its low price for two years at least. The recent fluctuations have led to the emergence of a number of possibilities for the anticipated effects as a result of this severe decline on global real-estates markets. Therefore, the global real-estates network “Lamudi” has investigated the potential effects on the real-estates market in five of the major oil-producing countries in the emerging markets.
Mexico It is expected that the adopted measures, including the reform of the tax system and the government investments in the housing sector, will contribute to support the real-estates market in Mexico in 2015 and strengthen it. During that, it is expected that the reforms in the energy sector will attract the global investors to the country. These measures together will compensate significantly for the effect of oil prices decline on the real-estates market where the government continues to search for new and effective ways to reduce spending by 8.4 billion dollars, due to the lower income caused by low oil prices. In this regard, Mrs. Vera Marakov, CEO of Lamudi Company in Latin America declared, saying: «The national government›s policy of housing will stimulate the real-estates market, this policy was announced in last January and it is expected to lead to real-estate investments of 370 billion pesos and pave the way to build a 500,000 houses.»
Indonesia Low oil prices will affect mostly on Indonesia›s economy; the oil and its services and the industries based on natural resources such as coal –all of which contribute to the gross of domestic country product have suffered from the negative impact. But nevertheless, this impact will remain marginal on consumers; the decline in oil prices has contributed to encourage the government to decrease its support in kind of fuel. Mr. Karan Ketan, CEO of Lamudi Company Indonesia commented, saying: «The impact of decline in oil prices will remain limited on the real-estates market, where the consumers› income will remain without any effect. As for workers in the field of oil and natural resources, they will be affected in a negative way, but the growth of the rest of the economic sectors will be balanced and the impact on the real-estates demand will remain limited.»

Everyone thinks that the paint of the ceiling shall be painted white and that your options of colors will be on the side walls only, but to choose it painted black is considered a bold leap in the world of decoration, so we present you today the reasons for choosing the black color for the ceiling of your home. 78
REASONS FOR
CHOOSING THE BLACK for the ceiling of your home
79
Integrating the elements of the room in one representation If you have a number of pieces of furniture painted black in the room, the black ceiling would join it and gather it so that to create a link and a unified look for the design.
Identifyingthe patterns in the ceiling If you make a gypsum or carpentry in the ceiling ,you canmark it in black color to spotitsprecision and to highlight its art as well.
Low ceiling
Increasingthe excitement
Although the high ceiling is better, but in some cases, it may make you feel depressed and inactivite, the use of black color in painting the ceiling would make it closer to you.
The room design may be modest and lack the depth, excellence and excitement, so paint the ceiling in black color and you will find an architectural addition which was not pre-existing and this will make the design more interesting.
Making the ceiling higher Some tricks in designing makes the difference; the ceiling can become high if it is extended and you can’t see its borders, so it is better to paint the gypsum frame and the borders of the walls in black color as well.

Painting the walls in black If you dared to paint some walls in black color, you can do the same adventure on the ceiling of one room to create a significant impact.

Black
ceiling
Is the black considered as a partition? If you have wide and expended areas and you would like to make partitions in the decor to separate the areas, you should adopt the black color on the ceiling which will undertake this mission without the use of wood cutters, gypsum or even carpets.
A Radical change Which draws attention and steals the attention is that the ceiling is painted black so you can show the value of the objects existing in your sitting room or chandeliers and lighting of all kinds and even carpets scattered on the floor.
Highlight the external view The ceiling painted black helps to attract one’s eye to have a look at the external view of the room, if you have an exceptional garden or overlooking a spectacular view, this is your chance to show off this thing and regale the visitor of these views.

RULES OF “STRIPED”
DECORATION IN YOUR HOME
82 Better Homes June 2015
Striped
decoration
T
he barred or the striped decoration patterns are used in the decorations of your home starting from the color of the paint of walls to the types of fabrics of furniture, cushions, pillows and even curtains where this kind of curtains is considered the trace of elegance in your home and whatever is your choice of striped patterns whether in glaring color or in pastels, the striped decor when chosen tends to imposes on you certain rules that you can’t breach, or else you will lose the accurate direction and your home will be detached from the circle of elegance and glamor.
Do not be afraid of mixing the furniture and striped placemats with other patterns, styles and carvings. You can assign sofas with a unified to color striped cushions, and other cushions that are dotted or others with patterns of roses. However all the pillows should share some colors or shall match with one another. Whenever the striped pattern comes in outstanding colors and is being spread on large area of the décor, this will help it to prominence more, so don’t be shy to use it.
Don’t think that the adoption of the striped decor pattern in more than a room in your home is considered a repetition, but it actually tends to increase the cohesion of style and its clarity provided that you have to adopt it with different colors in each room. On the other side, be careful not to adopt for example striped couches and striped pillows, or to paint the wall with broad lines patterns and adopt a sofa in the same way, because this may spoil the elegance of your home and show it repulsive for people when they look at it..

RENEWABLE ENERGY
A B U D I YA H
Power Engineer Monitoring for Electronic Systems, JO
With the rapid development that we are living in these days, the demand for energy sources is increasing and pushing the boundaries of countries’ economy. Renewable energy with its characteristics plays a significant role in providing clean, free and reliable source of energy. Sun energy is unquestionably an energy source of huge potential, one that can be exploited without harming the environment. At any time, the hemisphere of the earth is exposed to the sun can receive over 50,000 TW of power, nearly 10,000 times the quantity of energy consumed all over the world.
With increasing demand for energy from industrial and personal intelligent devices, solar panels offer a great source to accommodate this demand. Solar energy in Jordan is considered one of the most efficient energy sources, as it can generate up to 555K Watt yearly; which is enough for the consumptions of small electronics devices. Solar Panels today are becoming more capable of generating larger amounts of energy with the development of Technology Train, and having inverters that are more intelligent with the maximum power point tracking technology. In addition to tracking sun by Sun Tracking Robots mounting system, Safety is highly considered and power loss through cables is eliminated as much as possible ; so solar system today decrease the cost of your bell up to 100% and return your money within a few years. That increase the reliance on this technology.
The world is coming to realize how vital and useful the solar energy is for the future; this pushed the expansion of solar power stations size and solar panels number.
The solar energy capability advanced from the ability to generate few Watts to kilowatts. And nowadays this system is able to generate Giga Watts of energy that is satisfactory to any energy need. Protecting the environment and reducing the energy waste are part of any countries goals. Our vision is for the world to become a solar village with healthier environment and better energy sources.
