The station contains facilities and services for passengers designed in accordance with the best international standards of high-speed train stations. The station’s facilities include the following: Main building of the station which includes the arrival and departure concourse, a mosque with a capacity of 600 worshipers, center for civil defense, helipad, (10) pavements for trains and a car parking with a capacity of 5000 parks which are divided into short and long-term parking. Brief

Location Current Situation

Visitors of Makkah can simply note the unplanned areas that spread out throughout the holy city and the urgent need for an urgent treatment. The government has approved Regulation of Slums Areas Developments. Al-Otaibia area is considered with a high priority in development, because it's in close location to the Holy Mosque and its low level of urban organization. This slums areas near the Holy Mosque will be transferred to a multi used urban planned on a global level. This contribution will improve the urban fabric of Makkah. The area of Al-Otaibia under development is about 1 million square meters, with a distance of 1.6 Km away from the Holy Mosque. Al Otaybeya,Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Region

FIRST PHASE We decided to start with this area because of it’s located near the holy mosque, the need of Absorption of more residential units.

SECOND PHASE We will develop the surrounding area of the main road as a second phase, by developing an oath of the central services area and adding towers that serve the pilgrims with observance of the Traffic jams.

THIRD PHASE We will develop the surrounding area of the main road as a thirdphase ,by developing the rest of the central services area and towers that serve the pillgrims with Observance of the Traffic.

FOURTH PHASE We considered developing this area as the fourth phase because It will be valuable after the development.
