SCULPTURE PROJECT 2019

This project intend to explore emotions and feeling through architectural organization and principles in different aspect through 2D & 3D form.

Starting with an intepretation of sound into collage, turn into a pattern, eventually a form & spaces is produced with the interpretation of emotion.

MOCK UP 1

ONE MAN UNIT SHELTER

This project tends to explore spaces, anthropometry & ergonomics. It started with man unit shelter designed for survival in an isolated place.

This product is portable as it is easy to dismantle and attached.

This particular task is to be designed for a 1 man shelter. As it is, a surviving mode shelter, my group is using recycle materials such as cardboard, sticks, reflector & tissue roll. Everything is attached using a cable tie and is easy to be made portable.

JENGUK : CORE SPACE.

This project intends on a core space that provide visitors about the whole information that has in Sekinchan, Selangor which a country place that surround by paddy field and has a lot of fisherman as the man job in the place. .

Bringing back Malaysian traditional culture through a coffee shop. Reimagine a coffee shop through Malay cultures which one of the space in this cafe is experience congkak as we go having our coffee and chit chat with our pal.

In this particular timber construction, a space that affords to accommodate 2 human beings in a timber construction dwelling.

MARINE AILING INTERACTION CENTRE

It is a centre that is located in Teluk Ailing beach in Pulau Pinang. This centre is providing an experience of the richnes of Teluk Ailing Marine Biodervsity.

ROOF STRUCTURE DETAILS ON OPENING SHADING DEVICE

Graving Hub has 2 different floors which starting from Ground floor and lead to first level. All spaces are leading very activities for communities enganging with Iron engraving one of it is keychain making in hands-on workshop.

In semester 5, Digital Drawing were one of the core subject. In the particular class, students were taught the fundamental of Digital software to produce archtectural drawings such as Autocad, sketchup & Lumion as a beginner. The end product of this subject, the students need to produce a 3D simple bungalow based on any preferences project .

In this particular works, an interior of the following bungalow has been produced using Sketch Up 3D Modeller. The rendering were produced using Lumion 9 which the same software I use to pick material for the interior in this particular bungalow.

is an young adult housing for the dissemination of balancing lifestyle by providing spaces for play, live and work In this phase, I use my knowledge from Phase 1 till Phase 4 to gather information and communicate through my design on how young adult can live in one housing that consist all youngster activities apart of living.

UNIT PLANNING WISE

Alur by Tropicana has 3 types of unit which dynasty and clan unit both have 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom and 2 toilet and solitude unit with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 toilet. All units consist of living room, dining area, yard and balcony to sufficient the lifestyle of play, live & work.

CONSTRUCTION WISE

Alur by Tropicana housing is using IBS method for the construction. As each unit has all the same component for the framework to the precast wall. Apart from that, precast component is including windows, doors and railing.

ALUNAN SPOTIFY GATHERING POD

Introduction

Alunan Spotify Gathering Pod is a learning & socializing center for the Glenmarie community dissemination of balancing lifestyle by providing spaces for play, life, and work meanwhile engaging life with music. In this phase, I use my knowledge from Phase 1 till Phase 4 to gather information and communicate through my design on how the community can enjoy activities together. that consists of all communities of music apart from their's.

Concert hall

Concert hall as the core space of Alunan Spotify Gathering Pod. This space will have the visitors to enjoy a local acts that came from variety of artists.

Alunan Spotify Gathering Pod has 3 different floors which starting from Ground floor and lead to 2 different level that goes 1st level or Ground level. All spaces are leading very activities for communities enganging with musics. One of it is co-working space for student who came for music and dance classes.

Music heals me

This particular space is provided for users to experience a music therapies. One of the activities in this space is a high vibration music wave that allowed a deaf communities to experience music through vibration.

PHYSICAL MODEL OF ALUNAN SPOTIFY GATHERING POD

Visitors who walk around the Centre from the North or South side, can see a certain pattern of the structure. One of them is the rhythm of the roof structure that derived from a sound wave pattern. This particular roof structure pattern and form is giving the centre the identity of music that represent Spotify Centre.

Other than the rhythmic roof pattern, a rhythmic pattern in these Spotify Gathering Pods is a horizontal skylight placed between the roof. As it gives a dynamic characteristic to the building, it is also performed as a natural light ventilation during the days.

In semester 5, Digital Drawing were one of the core subject. In the particular class, students were taught the fundamental of Autocad Software as a beginner. The end product of this subject, the students need to produce a drafting drawing based on a simple bungalow.

During my internship, in semester 6. I have made most of the detail drawing for Majlis and Bomba's Approval. Two of the works here are an intermediate shop lot in Putrajaya for Bomba approval & a Hangar for the Helistar company.

In semester 7, Building Information Modelling (BIM) were one of the elective subject. In the particular class, students were taught the fundamental of Revit software as a beginner. The end product of this subject, the students need to produce a drafting drawing based on any previous project either during intern or lower semester. I chose a simple 3 bedrooms Banglo to produce a drawing using Revit software.

I am grateful to have the opportunity to explore and unleash my skills especially in critical thinking individually, communicate skills & the importance of teamwork within a project. The relation of every phase with each other helps me better understand to solve any issues within my design that open up my mind on how design always have choices and priorities that can lead to the best design approach that give me an identity as a designer. Last but not least, I am very thankful for the tutors helps for the whole semester that give a lot of input on bettering my design with constructive opinions & solutions for a more practical design.
