County Fair Brings Treats of all Sizes
From licorice ropes to livestock galore and crazy rides to big floating bubbles to roll in, the March 16-20 Pinal County Fair filled the fairgrounds with thrills, laughter, fun eats and maybe a few tired grandparents.
The five-day event (after a pandemic pause) also provided live music, exhibits and allaround quality entertainment for Golden Corridor communities.

Copper Sky Recreation Complex - Maricopa – 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM – Car Boot Sale (Trunk Sale). Sellers can start setting up at 6:30 AM. Buyers will be admitted starting at 8:00 AM. Casa Grande Ruins National Monument - Coolidge – 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM – The Casa Grande Ruins National Monument is currently open Tuesday to Saturday. The theater and exhibits remain closed, but the Great House and Ruins and the picnic area are open, along with the information desk and bookstore. Free admission. Pinal County Historical Museum - Florence – 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM – The museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday and has a wide range of exhibits, including Native American culture, day-to-day life in early Florence, 2nd Territorial Prison artifacts, antique clothing, cactus furniture, farm machinery, vintage fire engines, and much more. Admission is $7 for adults, under 18 free. Closed on holidays.

Pinal Geology & Mineral Museum - Coolidge – 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM – Open Wed.-Sat. 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Exhibits include fossils from all over the world, gems and minerals, and children’s activities. Arizona Zipline Adventures - Oracle – 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM – The Zipline EcoTour allows you to zip on 5 different spans ranging in length from 400 to 1,500 feet and lasts approximately 2 hours.
