The Elks Theatre and Performing Arts Center was built by the Benevolent and

Protective Order of the Elks, Lodge No. 330 in 1905, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The 487-seat theater has been fully remodeled and restored to its original turn-of-the- century style and beauty. With stadium style seating and opera boxes, there is not a bad seat in the house.

Elks Theatre is the perfect place in the Quad Cities to see a musical show, a theatrical presentation or hold a graduation. It is also available to lease for weddings, musical presentations or business meetings. The Performing Arts Center occupies the top two floors of the theater complex; completed remodeling in 2016. The second floor has two dance studios, each over 700 square feet with state-of-the-art music systems and lighting. Dance Hall 1 has Prescott’s only professional sprung Marley floor with ballet barre while Dance Hall 2 sports a floating hickory surface. Complementing the dance halls on the second floor are five Wenger “SoundLok” Music isolation booths for voice and instrumental practice.

On the third floor of the Performing Arts Center are two event halls available for public performances and private use. From concerts and comedy shows to dinner theater and book talks, the Crystal Hall, the larger venue in the Performing Arts Center, provides an alternative, intimate entertainment venue. The third floor is a beautiful location to hold your wedding, party, quinceanera, business meeting or seminar. When combined with a smaller space, the Sundance Room, there is a total floor capacity for up to 200 people. The Crystal Hall also has a full kitchen available.
