Curriculum Vitae
EXPERIENCE
With great passion for design and dedication to the enrichment and advancement of the built environment. Whether via pencil and trace, or utilizing the most advanced modeling and presentation technology, always investigating new ways to explore the possible and realize the visionary on every achievable level: but without losing sight of the practical needs of the project and most importantly, the people for whom it is intended to serve.
DESIGN
Where it all begins...
BIM. Development of BIM technology, as well as the application of the most current software and toolsets has always been at the forefront. As project architect for numerous successful projects: documentation along with research and implementation of the most current building technologies has become second nature.
TOOLS Revit Architecture - Advanced Expertise: Design/ BIM/ Rendering/ Document Production Photoshop - Advanced image manipulation and rendering 3D-S Max | Vectorworks | Rhino Proficiency: modeling & rendering Navisworks | Bentley Navigator Proficiency: Navigation/ Analysis/ Coordination/ Conflict resolution Ecotect Analysis - Proficiency: Daylighting/ Solar Radiation/ Thermal/ Energy analysis Sketch-Up - Proficiency: modeling and presentation AutoCAD – Expertise: CD’s/ presentation/ M-Color SpecLink/ e-Specs – Expertise: Specification & project manual production and coordination MS Office | Project | Newforma Advanced proficiency: reports/ presentation/ schedules/ management
How it all gets done... Although always focused in finding every opportunity to elevate design throughout the course of any given project (from concept to detailing), over the years strong skills in all aspects of project and client management, programming, consultant and internal team coordination, document production and contract administration have continued to be developed. It’s never enough to maintain status quo: above and beyond is where the bar is set.
MANAGEMENT
Process, Organization and Responsibility...
Application of sustainable building practices with applied and continued research and implementation (including but by no means limited to LEED certification) is a crucial priority. Working on numerous projects designed to, or in process of attaining various levels of LEED certification has helped develop an in depth understanding of the USGBC rating system. But more importantly, extensive research on the subject of sustainable practice, while also spearheading ‘Net-Zero’ R&D studies has provided
