Case Study: Raybiztech helps leading reseller of DISH Network to reduce the cost of lead acquisition with Microsoft Dynamics CRM About Client Client is a leading reseller of DISH Network in the state of California. The client has number of online marketing programs aimed at lead generation including leads from affiliates. The client has a sales team in the US and has engaged four contact centers outside US to support the outbound customer acquisition process. The contact centers contact the leads, qualify them and transfer the qualified leads to the US sales team for follow up and closure. The client has decided to use Dynamics CRM for the complete sales and support processes. We were engaged to design and implement the sales and support processes for the client. Business Need The client works with number of affiliates as part of the online marketing campaigns geared towards lead generation. These leads need to be scrubbed against existing database for duplicates, accuracy in lead information such as phone number, email and address etc. Once processed, the leads need to be stored in the
CRM system for allocation to various sales representatives who would then contact the lead for qualification and closure. The challenge in the lead processing is the volume of leads that come in from various affiliates and their accuracy followed by lead allocation to various contact centers. Once a lead is converted to customer, the customer information needs to be tracked for various promotional campaigns, payment history and other marketing purposes. The Solution The client decided to use Dynamics CRM as the solution for sales and support processes. Ray Business Technologies (“RBT�) worked with the client IT and sales teams to analyze the process, recommended changes for smooth adoption and implemented the CRM solution. Lead Processing: RBT developed custom module for high volume lead processing. The lead processing module developed was high-performance, multithreaded and configurable for the leads coming into the system. The leads are checked for duplication against the existing database and for accuracy such as address, zip code and phone number, DNC etc. against the Melissa Data. Lead Allocation: RBT developed a custom module which allowed the client managers to modify the allocation rules on the fly such as allocating a certain percentage of leads to a contact center or lead allocation based on the time of the day. Customer Life Time Value and Retention: The client has designed a set of rules for calculating the customer life time value to manage both high-value customers and customers that are prone to churn. RBT developed modules for calculating the LTV based on the customer data such as demographics and payment patterns to identify high-value customers and customers prone to churn. Benefits Significant reduction in the cost of lead acquisition: Due to the automated and streamlined lead acquisition process, the client was able to save up to 63% of the amount spent on lead acquisition. Improved conversions and Increase in Customers: Due to the automated lead allocation process, the time from a lead comes in to the time lead is contacted and closed is reduced significantly. This has led to an improvement in conversions and increase in number of customers. ROI Improvement of Marketing Campaigns: With the built-in reporting capabilities of CRM, the marketing team was able to segment the customers better and create campaigns that had better ROI.
