Calderón Stadium and the old factory Mahou’s Masterplan. Study and proposal

A. Analysis of the Mahou-Calderón area, which is one of the largest open urban operations in Madrid. An approach to the district is proposed through 4 layers of analysis - physical support, road infrastructures, urban mosaic and social catalysts - and a conclusion centered on both sites.

B. Dividing the proposal into two scales, urban and landscape, an unitary and

common system of bands is applied. The urban scale seeks, through linear blocks, to create successive scenarios in the public space interconnected by equipment nodes. The landscape scale aims to study the superposition of these bands and the atmospheres that they generate longitudinally and transversely.
