RB&K beautifully blends the aesthetics of Asian and Europeans cultures and influences. Designer and founder,Rebecca Bargas, has extensive experience in the fashion realm having worked with luxury labels such as Kenzo as well as working in visual merchandising for more than 10 years.Having lived in both Asia as well as Europe Rebecca, draws her inspiration from her surroundings and experiences. RB&K is made to suit every woman’s style and shape and is a visual representation of the crossroads between Europe and Asia. The brand creates a bridge between diverse nationalities and styles and it is on this bridge that RB&K created it’s essence; “a spicy touch of elsewhere.” The new collection is perfectly suited to RB&K’s brand as it embodies elegance, sophistication, femininity and edginess. The new collection harmonises the geometrics of prints, lines and structural dimensions with free flowing, soft fabrics.
GEOMETRIP.
RB&K’s new Spring/Summer collection is titled Geometrip and comprises of three mini collections: Trendy/ Urban, Pop Art and Casual.
The collection was inspired through Rebecca’s recent move to Berlin and her new surroundings. Geometric is draws on the observation of the stark lines and dimensions of Berlin's architecture.The buildings stood in contrast to the open-minded, playful and spirited nature of Berlin’s people. The collection harmonises the geometrics of prints, lines and solid structure with free flowing, soft fabrics which gives each item a feminine fluidity. Each piece aims to take you on a trip from casual daytime chic to elegant evening wear with ease.
